• Igor (10/5): Great for a 2-3 night stay. - Nicely designed cabin in the middle of the vineyard. We were there when the grapes were ripe so it was 💫. The grounds are well maintained, there is a small pool in the garden (which we didn’t use). The breakfast is complete with many fruit choices. You must have a car as it is remote.

We were genuinely surprised that they arranged for us to check into our room very early after a long overnight bus ride — something we’ve never experienced before. The only small downside was that there was briefly no hot water, but this was resolved very quickly. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The tranquility and surroundings make for a truly special stay. The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive at all times, and the service overall was very good. Without a doubt, an ideal place to rest and enjoy. Some things could be renewed, like the chairs outside or the toilet seat, but these are only tiny remarks!

We had an awful bus journey to get to mendoza, including the bus breaking down, but the staff at Mawida stayed up waiting for us and even managed to find some enchiladas for us on arrival. It's a really great place to relax and unwind. The evening meal can be a bit bland.

• Michelle (4/5): Dissapointing - The view is beautiful, but the posada is located next to a factory. We stayed here four nights in the loft but upon arrival the room had not been cleaned after the previous guests. There were hairs everywhere, the floor was disgusting and there was an extremely bad smell coming from the bathroom, as the sewer is open in the bathroom. We addressed this to the staff and we were moved to another room which was way smaller where it also smelled. The next day the room was cleaned and we moved back to the loft. The bad smell from the bathroom continued but okay. The personnel is friendly, but very unprofessional as were not offered a compensation at first, had to ask for that ourselves. I must say we were really looking forward to our stay here and the posada is genuinely beautiful. But there are several improvements to be made. Offering guest a room that has not been cleaned is not okay. The food is also extremely basic. We were told that the hotel had a restaurant, but it turned out the the receptionist just warmed food up, for restaurant prices. Furthermore, at the breakfast fruit that is rotten is served. All of these are in our opinion easy fixes, so I really hope they will fix this, as again it is a beautiful hotel. But our experience was sadly enough tainted by all of this and the solutions they offered were not fitting and should have been solved on the first day, not the last after asking for it numerous times.

Il grande giardino con piante molto alte, salici piangenti, eucalipti e pioppi e la presenza anche della piscina. Tutto il personale senza eccezioni è stato sempre gentile, genuino e disponibile

La casa è immersa nelle vigne e gli unici rumori che senti sono quelli della natura. La vista sulle Ande è spettacolare. Il cibo anche molto buono. Ideale per coppie o per rilassarsi. Tornerei. Dai tubi del bagno a volte esce puzza e non c’è una porta che divida la stanza dalla zona lavandini, forse con un deodorante migliora la situazione. Metterei anche un cartello sulla strada principale perché molti autisti non sanno che devono entrare in una stradina di campagna.

• Michael (6/5): Not a bad place to stay, but not everything shines as you'd expect from the web description - Our room (triple) was spacious. Garden is well maintained, the pool is of a decent size and one can relax quietly (in daytime). Bed was very hard! Staff were mostly friendly but some should be more professional. Mawida is surrounded by vineyards on two sides, but by industrial plants and - what we thought is a disused - railway track on the other sides. Two nights out of three we were woken up in the middle of the night by a frightening noise that shook the house: a freight train, as it turned out. Dogs of the entire neighborhood barking at night didn't help our sleep either. Finally I did not appreciate the place's dog using the pool...
• Dawn (10/5): An expectional find! Just book it. - An exceptional stay. The room was fabulous, very comfortable and spacious and the surroundings were idyllic. The hotel staff were exceptional on WhatsApp, very responsive, arranged some bikes for us to visit bodegas. Asked if we wanted some Empanadas after a late flight. Arranged transfers. Simply went over and above, never experienced service like it, and I am well seasoned traveller. It was very authentic and loved the cockerels and parakeets. Oh and the wine cellar! Nothing. It was fabulous.

Além da vista, a estrutura é ótima e os funcionários foram extremamente gentis e solícitos conosco! Uma das nossas melhores escolhas na viagem a Mendoza Único ponto que não foi nota 10 foi a Internet, mas entendo que seja pela região estar mais afastada do centro. Como já sabia disso por outras avaliações, não me incomodou em nada.

• Alex (10/5): Incredible stay away from the city but easy enough for wine tasting! - Wow! What a find. Super proud I spotted this. Ground are unreal. Was super relaxing and the views were breathtaking. Stayed in one of the lofts amongst the vineyards and would strongly recommend. Lovely privacy and panoramic view of the Andes. Location was actually ideal for the vineyards we visited and we just got ubers everywhere which were easy to get! Breakfast was delicious and staff was so friendly and helpful! Pool was a great touch after a day out at the vineyards. Muchas gracias a todo! Nothing - really good value, high spec, incredible views and great service.

Las mejores medialunas que comí. Suficientemente cerca a la ciudad por si necesitas algo, pero a la vez lo suficientemente alejado para tener mucha calma. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Volvería sin duda. No hubo nada que no me gustó. Solo como recomendación, ampliaría un poco la carta y pondría sillas más cómodas en la terraza.

• Kathleen (10/5): Lovely first impression of Mendoza - Our suite was one of the lofts situated within the vineyards. It was very clean and modern. Our loft had a small patio which faced the cordillera of the Andes mountains, offering absolutely stunning vineyard & mountain views. Although we didn’t utilize the swimming pool, there was a beautiful and extremely well maintained swimming pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, served in the country house. Plenty of options and eggs made to order.

The photos on the website are misleading as they highlight the more expensive villas. When we arrived we were stuck in a dark room in an old house. The website is not clear as we would have been happy to pay more for the villa option.

The location is great, a perfect setting outside of the city to relax but just a taxi ride away from Mendoza so it’s easy enough to get around. The room was lovely and clean and the food was great. The staff were happy to help with any queries. The geese and chickens roaming around were entertaining to watch while relaxing. I would definitely recommend for any stay near Mendoza
