Guest Reviews
- Ryan (6/5): Overall the location and service of the hotel was great, but the cleanliness of the room was sub-par - Location was great, many cafes, restaurants and bars near the hotel. it was easy to enter the hotel. Check in process was great. The actual room was very dirty in my opinion. The floor was very gross, a lot of hair and insects flying around the hotel. The bathroom was clean, but the actual room itself was dirty.
- Stephen (9/5): V comfortable - Lovely, central, great staff Nothing
- Kurt Soldenhoff (10/5): Perfekte Lage, klein und fein, mit Charme und Pfiff. - Beste Qualität der Speisen, ausgezeichneter Kaffee, sehr persönliche Atmosphäre und Bedienung. Eigentlich nichts.

- Joachim (6/5): It was comfortable. - It looked very unique The “flat tv’s” were very small and badly placed in our room. And the breakfast was a bit small or rather not many options for warm food.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Bo (9/5): It was perfect in all respects -
- Geir Victor (8/5): - Nice cozy hotel, very close to the city center. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel it selves was very Cozy and had details which I haven't seen any other places. Shower was a bit small

- Pia (8/5): - Sehr zentrale Lage, nettes Personal und tolles Frühstück. Gerne wieder!

- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful artsy hotel - clean and comfortable. - The room was beautiful. We enjoyed all of the art - we especially got a kick out of the art in the closet!. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Reading lamps by the bed would have been nice.
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- Mandisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (6/5): Property located in LGBTQ+ neighborhood (rainbow flag in evidence) but all very good experieince. - Decent location within 15 minutes to Marienplatz and easy access to tram lines. Breakfast restaurant nicely presented. plentiful supply of street cafes in short distance. We were given a room within 5 yards of a small construction site with scaffolding and early morning workers. No hot food for breakfast. NO ELEVATOR.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Nice townhouse style hotel. I had small single room which was basic but comfortable nd exceptionally clean with the facilities I needed. Good value for money.
- Thomas (10/5): Perfect choice - Only positive vibes
- Sanne (9/5): Superb -
- Valerijs (9/5): Superb - hotel is quite and romantic breakfast is not good, don't pay for it. it's only cold food
- Kathi (10/5): Lovely traditional hotel with excellent service! - The breakfast was always fresh and delicious and the servers were cheerful and kind.
The staff was very helpful and nice!
Lovely traditional hotel!
- Blumenblat (7/5): Good but noisy, could improve the windows isolation to manage the noise - Great property, staff and rooms. Good breaksfast service and good location overall My room faced the street right above a bar that was open until 1:00am or later on a Monday and Tuesday with people constantly getting out to smoke and chat very loudly. In the morning the noise from the street starts at 7:00am so basically 5 hours of sleep at the best
- John (5/5): Passable - very clean and friendly staff. The rooms are fairly basic.
- Gianluca (9/5): Excellent location and high quality of services - Really close to Metro Station, just 3 stops from MarienPlatz. Although my stay was short and without breakfast, I can say that the room was very spacious, beds comfortable. The bathroom had everything I needed. Highly recommended!
- Victor (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (8/5): Comfortable, polite staff, centrally located. - Reception is very friendly, housekeeping was very proactive. I left the room late one day, and housekeeping checked on me in the late afternoon to see if I need anything. Really appreciate that. The hotel is also nicely designed, the rooms comfortable and the bathroom very modern and mostly importantly, sparkling clean. Even in the best hotels it's normal to find dark stains in the grout, but this hotel is absolutely spotless.
The hotel is very centrally located in a queer (straight-friendly as the locals would jokingly call it) neighbourhood with many great cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops and bars. The neighbourhood is quiet and calm, you don't really hear any traffic noise whatsoever. There is no air conditioning in the room, so visiting in the peak summer heat can be a little challenging. My room is above the bar downstairs, and the summer heat meant I need to keep the window open (although there was almost no breeze anyway), but the noise of the bar can be disturbing to light sleepers or those who want to retire early.
- Vasilii (8/5): Good hotel with amazing interior, but during hot weather not the greatest place as there is no AC, and opening window at - Great stuff, authentic interior No air conditioning and it gets really hot during hot days. Opening the window is not an option at night as there are a couple restaurants and clubs around so it can be pretty noisy.
- Hung (7/5): Amazing location, friendly and accommodating staff but could use some tidying and updating. - Great location with LGBT-friendly bars and restaurants around. The hotel had a really nice vibe and decor. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The noise from the bar downstairs was terrible until 3am. It was impossible to sleep well. There is no AC. The carpet, shower curtain were dirty. There was also a hair from a former customer in the bathroom sink. Electricity plugs were not all working.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Marta (1/5): Bad - When I entered the room for the first time the bin in the room wasn’t emptied after previous customers.
Walls are super thin so you can hear everything what’s going on in the corridor, other rooms, and outside on the busy street.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Slightly kooky old world style hotel. If my best mate owned a hotel and hadn't seen me in years he couldn't have given me a better welcome.
Highly recommended
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Scarlett (6/5): Pleasant -
- Zedur81 (10/5): Facilty is amazing, quiet, clean and pacefull - Fresh fruits, yummy jam and breads Nothing
- Patricia (7/5): Fine - The breakfast was excellent. The location good. The staff helpful. The art cool. The bathroom could have been cleaner.
- Anthony (8/5): Very comfortable stay in quirky hotel - Artwork was really cool. Breakfast room was beautiful Not the most modern hotel and lacks amenities
- Aleksandra (8/5): Good but too expensive - Very comfortable; in vintage style but very well maintained Overpriced and very little choice for breakfast
- Jeppe (8/5): Very nice and cozy -
- Jo-ann (5/5): Passable -
- Stephen (7/5): Terrible attitude great hotel - Great location , very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and lovely staff at breakfast and at desk . On arrival at 11 pm door was locked. Rang bell and banged on door for five minutes. There was a terrible storm and we were all drenched. Lady at reception eventually arrived and remonstrated with us about the noise. Even though busy bar next door . She shouted at us for close to ten minutes about a range of issues. From putting our bag on desk to not singing her form properly. It was the worst experience I have had at a hotel reception in forty years of travel. Family group all adults utterly abused by lady. I spoke to gentleman on desk the next day and he was hugely apologetic. Indeed spoke to her about her behaviour on day two . For this reason I would not personally go back .
- Declan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rina (9/5): Perfect hotel for alone travelers. - Perfect location, close to everything, didn't have to use transport at all, excepting to my train from East terminal.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, I had only one because I left early for day trip, but it worthed it. Comfortable room for alone traveler (It is rare), a little old fashionable like the whole hotel, but it had its own charm. It would be nice to have some teamaker in the room. I'm sure I would be provided with one if I asked.
- Nicholas (8/5): Very good -
- Tristan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and breakfast. wonderful for business travelers. I needed to modify my reservation and the staff was very helpful
- Martin (9/5): Hotel had everything I needed - Quiet & unassuming, compact & chic & with Netflix !
- Charles (10/5): We can't recommend highly enough. The perfect hotel for a Munich city trip. - The hotel is truly beautiful. The staff super-friendly. Location is perfect, only a few minutes walk from Munich centre. Breakfast was also beautifully presented and served. Private parking was a real bonus for a city centre hotel.
- Jari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Michael (8/5): For me, it was a very good choice. - Location quiet and just off the main tourist beat but many local bars, restaurants plus a small supermarket within very easy reach. Trams and metro also easily accessible. A pleasant 10 mn walk to Marienplatz via Gartnerplatz and the market. Excellent breakfast in an attractive room. Lots of interesting modern artworks throughout the building. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.
- Karel (3/5): By checking wasn’t very pleasant receptionist at the desk. -
- Graham (5/5): Passable -
- Jürgen (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, very friendly staff, and unqiue rooms
- Gerrie (9/5): A good place to stay - It was clean and convenient All was good

- Vj (7/5): Good -
- Lilly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kieran (7/5): Good - Delightful breakfast room, served elegantly. Weird but harmless night receptionist who dragged out a five minute process to 20 minutes.
- Aurelien (10/5): beautifully presented hotel with nice hosts -
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - Very clean, lovely staff, great shower, room was spacious with a kitchenette. There was nothing I disliked about this property.
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Archie (9/5): transit - nice and clean art was a bit raw.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): Comfort and location - Extremely friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and impeccably clean and comfortable room. Beautiful area perfect for our stay. No kettle in the room, just being picky as everything was perfect!
- Cornelius (10/5): It is my third or fourth time at this hotel. It is always outstanding in the quality and value. - The dining room is so inviting and comfortable. The buffet is perfect. I received a very warm welcome from the lady of the house and was offered access to the room immediately on arrival after an all night flight from NY. It meant a great deal.
- Neal (9/5): Great location, nice stay. - The location was fantastic, the staff were really nice and the underground car park was certainly useful. Everything was as you'd expect. Nothing
- Nadine (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -

- Michael (7/5): Good - Very helpful and friendly staff. A comfortable hotel with nice rooms, a reasonable breakfast and wifi in a great location that was all very fairly priced (especially considering I was staying around Oktoberfest). My room was a first floor room on the road side so was a little noisy (not an issue for me as I always take ear plugs with me!).
- Vanessa (10/5): Lovely stay and looking forward to my next visit - The hotel has an excellent location, staff were welcoming and helpful with advice. The rooms are tastefully decorated, displaying interesting art pieces. The breakfast was delicious.
