• D.Bock (10/5): - I had an excellent stay at Hotel Antares. The location is perfect—very well located and within walking distance to many points of interest. A huge thanks to Ivana at the front desk; she was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The staff in the coffee area were also very polite, and the breakfast was delicious with great variety. As for the room, it was spotless, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

• Denys (1/5): - The property was just after renovation and some floors where still under construction and noisy, but the main issue was smell of fresh paint in the room and I wanted to put my relative to the hotel who came all the way down for asthma treatment and when we refused to stay because of smell the hotel management declined the refund and kept the whole amount for two nights.

• Ulrike (7/5): Das Hotel liegt zentral, Innenstadt und Englischer Garten zu Fuss erreichbar. Empfehlenswert. - Das Zimmer war neu eingerichtet und hat uns gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war tipptopp und der Service zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr nah zum Zentrum und man kann die Innenstadt zu Fuss erreichen. ÖV in der Nähe, sodass man auch weiter ausserhalb hinkommt. Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert. Es hat zwar ein Parking mit Lift, ist jedoch recht eng. Ansonsten hat es öffentliche Parkhäuser in der Nähe oder kostenpflichtige Parkplätze in den Strassen.

It’s also located in a wonderful part of Munich with easy access to public transportation. I have no complaints.

• Manas (10/5): Great central stay during Oktoberfest — clean, convenient, and friendly staff! - The location is excellent — just a short walk/ride to both the Old Town and the central station, which made getting around the city and region super convenient. My single room was definitely compact and a bit dated, and while there’s no air conditioning, it was still comfortable enough for a solo stay. The bed was small but mostly comfortable, and the room was clean and well-kept throughout my visit. The included breakfast was a great bonus — simple but filling, and the coffee was surprisingly good! Staff were friendly and helpful, even with the hotel being at full capacity. They also kindly stored my luggage for a few hours after checkout, which was really appreciated. Also loved the complimentary bottle of Augustiner-Brau Oktoberfestbier, great little touch during Oktoberfest Rooms are definitely a little dated with no a/c. Beds are small and not the most comfortable but fine for a short solo stay. Walls are a little thin & you can hear loud conversations No TV in the room just an old small monitor

BAthroom was decent but the bathroom fan was not working. The room was a bit cramped and there was no kettle or cups for tea and coffee.
• oma64 (7/5): Munich - We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Not large but enough to satisfy most people. We also liked the staff they were friendly and helpful. This hotel is further away than you imagine for the U bahn. I chose it for the proximity to transportation. The room I had as a single was so so small and not comfortable. The bathroom toilet was about a foot from the wall my knees almost touching. The decor is tired and well I know I would not return. It was not dirty just worn.

The food was a great spread and the time window was generous to make breakfast. The room was clean and spacious by European city standards (for the price point). There was staff at the front desk 24/7 which was actually really great for random questions and concerns over the course of our long stay (a full week).

Las almohadas muy malas. - El desayuno estaba muy rico y el personal -que hablaba otros idiomas ademas de aleman- fue excepcionalmente amable. La habitacion estuvo muy bien, limpia y agradable. La cama bien y cómoda (las cobijas como una nube). Volvería sin problema. El secador de pelo con buena potencia fue una grata sorpresa! Las almohadas eran bastante malas: muy delgadas, sin ninguna forma. Tan suaves que se deforman de inmediato, no ofrecen ningun tipo de soporte al dormir.

The staff were friendly and kind, and the chocolates they gave us for Christmas when we were leaving left a lovely smile on our faces. From now on, this will be our only address in Munich.

• Danielle (10/5): Pleasant, clean room in a friendly hotel with fantastic breakfast. - The beds were comfortable. Quite a firm mattress which I like. The bathroom was small but the shower was powerful and hot. The breakfast was amazing, a good but not too overwhelming selection. The restaurant window had a festive display and the staff were all very accommodating. The room only had one mirror, situated above the sink. It would be nice to have a full length or half length at body height.

Accogliente. - vicinissimo al centro 1,5km a piedi, comodissimo e facile da raggiungere, vicino ai vari luoghi di interesse storico e culturale. intorno ci sono molti locali se non ci si vuole troppo muovere la sera. Zona tranquilla e sicura. Camera super silenziosa. Colazione abbondante e varia. Staff molto gentile. La camera è un po’ piccolina, ma in vacanza là si usa solo per dormire quindi va benissimo.

The room, while small, is comfortable--quiet and dark at night. The staff are super-friendly.
