- Endre (7/5): Very basic hotel at the edge of Barreal - The staff was very helpful, even no one waited us at the time of our arrival. When they realized that we have no time having breakfast, a lady of the staff prepared a breakfast pack for the next morning, and even she didn't speak English by a translator program she gave us all the necessary information, and she was really kind. Check-in was not easy. The day before our arrival we got a query about the time of our arrival via Whatsapp message, which I read by chance. I got the exact time of our arrival, but nobody was at the reception when we arrived. Just after a Whatsapp call arrived the above, anyway very kind lady on the place. The hotel anyway is almost out of the town, I can't propose it due to the location to other passengers.

Dirty road to hotel, dusty. Was not able to get a quick lunch at hotel at time of arrival. Was not able to get dinner at hotel after long day trekking.

- David (10/5): Lovely place, highly recommended - We spent a great couple of days here, but it was a shame that the weather was poor on day two and we couldn't enjoy the lovely pool area. The room was very spacious and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The shower was hot and the WiFi worked very well for us. Breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. There were lots of nice touches, for example, leaving an HDMI cable connected to the TV is a simple thing, but it's the first time we have seen this. The views of the snow-capped Andes were spectacular. Parking was on site and secure. Nothing, we loved the place.

Nice building It's a bit far from the center, you need the car for everything. Very noisy neighbourhood, loud music day and night, which is ridiculous, because you are in a very quiet place. The bathroom not very comfortable: when using the sink and the shower, everything gets wet. A lot of light at night: the whole building is illuminated and the curtains are not big enough to keep the light out. The owner (who we didn't meet, only had contact with her by phone) not very trustworthy, she tried to make advantage of us The Wifi is not stable, bad signal (e.g. we could not send emails) The swimming pool was not open, all though it was announced in Booking that it was.
