No sé si cogí alguna oferta sin darme cuenta, pero me sorprendió mucho el precio teniendo en cuenta el de otros hoteles similares. Tienen una zona donde te puedes sentar mirando al canal, muy agradable y tranquila. La cama era cómoda y no escuché ningún ruido por la noche, algo que se agradece mucho. Lo que más me gustó fue la amabilidad de los trabajadores con los que hablé, así como su disposición para ayudarme en un par de cosas que necesité. El wifi. No sé si por alguna razón a mi habitación no llegaba correctamente o si fue un problema puntual, pero tenía que tirar de los datos del teléfono porque se desconectaba constantemente. Para alguien europeo probablemente no sea un gran problema, porque la tarifa móvil suele ser la misma que en el país de origen, pero para alguien de fuera de Europa sí puede ser un inconveniente.

• Glen (8/5): - Fantastic location. Was able to be transferred from airport to hotel dock by water transfer. It was great. Close proximity to Rialto Bridge and a number of really great restaurants. Our room looked right onto the canal, which was fantastic. Had a nice little deck on the canal, to enjoy a wine.
• Nicole (8/5): Nice location and comfortable room, though overpriced for what it is. - The location was very central and easy to get to from the train station using the Vaparazzo. It is nicely decorated and has a good breakfast included in the stay. It’s quiet for the most part though our room was very close to the dining area and when we would leave our window open at night, it was easy to hear people on the street in the mornings. For the price, it wasn’t as nice as you would hope. Very simple room, though nicely decorated. Has AC though we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. We didn’t need it though as it was cool when we were here. No elevator but the staff will carry your bags up the stairs for you which is very nice.

• Colin (9/5): Excellent holiday and this Hotel was a large part of it. - The location is excellent,on the Grand Canal and less than 10 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge in a very peaceful location but also great for restaurants and bars.The hotel’s breakfast was excellent each of our 5 nights stay,hot and cold options.Hotel was spotless throughout.bar area on the Grand canal and also the breakfast room had seating on the hotels balcony overlooking the canal.The hotel was a former palace and you can still feel and see this throughout. • Anthony (7/5): Wonderful location at a reasonable price - with a few tweaks it could be 10/10 - Fantastic location on the Grand Canal - we arrived by Water Taxi which was amazing! The mattresses could have done with being replaced and unfortunately not the hotels fault but the rooms were very warm and air con was not allowed as it isn't summer yet. The breakfast lady was a little surly and unwelcoming but very efficient at her job.

• Kerstin (10/5): Wunderbares Hotel in perfekter Lage - Die Lage ist traumhaft! Direkt am Kanale Grande mit kleiner Terrasse. Die Lage ist weg von Touristen -Hotspots und deshalb ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig, frisch und lecker! Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend. Ehrlich gesagt fällt mir nur der morgigen Geruch im Zimmer ein, der wahrscheinlich normal ist, so nah am Wasser. Fenster auf und gut!

It was very clean, and it has this spirit of good old times. The staff was very friendly, my room was spacious and cozy. The breakfast was great, there were scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereal, two types of ham, two types of cheese, different types of bread, fresh tomatoes, yogurts, good coffee, and all the usual small things like jams, nutella, cream cheese etc. I would love to have more options of fresh fruits and vegetables for breakfast, but it's always hard to find in European hotels.
• Maria Pilar (9/5): Ubicación, comodidas, desayuno, vistas. - Ubicación EXCELENTE, a 5 minutos del Puente Rialto, en un encantador barrio veneciano, sobre una calle muy tranquila y pintoresca. Al llegar me notificaron sobre un upgrade de habitación por una parte de mi estadía (2 de las 3 noches), el cual aprovecho para agradecer! En la primera habitación (cama doble con terraza) la cama era muy comoda, muy buenas almohadas, baño enorme y creo que es el primer hotel en AÑOS de viajar por Europa en el que encuentro acondicionador para el cabello entre sus amenities!! Agradecida por eso y por los puertos USB para cargar el movil en la mesa de luz. En cuanto a la segunda habitación (individual sin terraza), las dimensiones eran menores pero mantuvo la calidad (cama comoda, escritorio, pava para preparar te/cafe). Tuve un problema vinculado a ruidos con la habitación de al lado y el personal lo resolvió enseguida y de forma eficiente. Todo el personal es muy amable (excepto una persona, que mencionaré mas adelante), el edifició y la decoración bellisimos. El desayuno es buffet (excepto las bebidas, que las prepara a pedido alguien del personal), de buena calidad y variado (corissants, bollería, frutas, huevos revueltos, fiambre, jugos, yogur, cereales). La sala de desayuno (en el primer piso) tiene una terraza pequeña que da al Gran Canal, aunque solo tiene dos mesas pequeñas por lo cual hay que llegar a primera hora para poder aprovecharla. De cualquier manera en planta baja tienen un bar y otra terraza desde la que se pueden disfrutar las vistas al canal. Menciono las escaleras porque a otros clientes les puede llegar a servir saber que existen (el hotel tiene 3 pisos) y que no hay ascensor; pero para mi no fueron un problema (ademas el personal ayuda a subir el equipaje) El dia 25/3, la mujer encargada del desayuno. Tendrían que avisarle que una de las aptitudes necesarias para trabajar en el negocio de la hospitalidad es la simpatía. Desde que entré a la sala de desayuno me miró con una cara terrible y cada vez que le pedía un cafe (generalmente casi no como solidos a la mañana, pero tomo mucho café en el desayuno) parecía que le estaba pidiendo que vaya a cosechar los granos a Colombia para traermelos frescos! Me sentí muy incomoda, por suerte al otro dia le encargada era otra señora que atendió a todos muy amablemente con una sonrisa. Me pregunto si no sería mejor colocar una maquina de café expresso y que los huespedes se sirvan solos. Es lo unico por lo que no le pongo un 10 al hotel.

• Amy (9/5): Beautifully restored 15th Century hotel, an indulgent stay in a magical city. - Loved my beautiful, spacious, and stately room with large windows opening onto a spectacular view of the Grand Canal; Also appreciated the deep bathtub in a spotlessly clean bathroom. The staff was gracious and warm, and the decadent breakfast far exceeded expectations! It was, without question, the tastiest breakfast I have ever been served in a hotel, and the bonus was being able to enjoy it outside on the terrace, boat and people-watching. I also appreciate the concierge offering several recommendations for how to best spend the day. nothing.

When asking about the history of the hotel they were very knowledgeable and passionate. We were upgraded to a beautiful canal view room-what an amazing view, such a special experience. Room was good, it’s an old venician place, don’t expect modern interiors. We loved it. We had breakfast which had the basics, can’t complain.

Ich reise allein und habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Weg Abends im Dunklen ist vielleicht etwas spannend dafür wird man aber von der Terrasse oder dem Balkon mit einer Mega Aussicht belohnt. • Tom (9/5): Such a great stay - I wished I could have booked to stay for longer - We loved this hotel - our room was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed eating breakfast looking out over the canal. It was slightly tricky to find the hotel, down a quiet side street - but that is a minor gripe, because much of the charm of Venice is to be found in the quiet side streets, away from the main thoroughfares.

• Ioana (10/5): Good valuea for the money. Nice old style Venetian hotel. - Nice hotel with a perfect view on Canal Grande from the dining area and some rooms. The location is a little bit tricky to find, but this is something usually in Venice. The hotel is like a museum. The breakfast plenty. The rooms are little and not very impressive, needs some improvement and renovation in my opinion.
