ROBERTO (9/5): - Muy lindo hotel. Su ubicación es excelente, en zona céntrica, a 1/2 cuadra de Plaza San Martín. Lindo hall y recepción. Habitaciones muy lindas y amplias, con baño privado, placares, mesa, etc. Aire acondicionado. Podría mejorar un poco el desayuno. Ellos avisan que no incluye frutas ni fiambres, pero quizás pagando un poquito más la noche, podría incluirlos para hacer un desayuno más completo.

Millet02 (4/5): Old and HOT with weak wifi - A this hotel is ancient and it shows. Everything is in need of repair or replacement, especially the AC units. The first room we had was on the 7th floor, the AC was barely wheezing, and froze up during the night. We had to push the bed directly in front of the unit to avoid suffocation and try to sleep. We asked to be moved, and they put us in a room on the 5th floor. The AC was marginally better, but still froze up if you let it wheeze for too long. We turned it off every time we left the room but it still couldn't make it through the night. This place only has wifi on even number floors, so if you're on an odd for you can't get a signal. If we really wanted to do anything we had to take the laptop or our phones down to the lobby. It's cheap for a reason - go somewhere else, no matter how tempting the location may be.
cjohnson287 (10/5): GREAT DEAL! - El Torreon is located in the best part of Mendoza. Shopping is plentiful. The hotel is solid and clean. The people that work at the El Torreon are very nice and helpful.They love this hotel and you will also. It is family owned and they want you to be comfortable like part of the family. They have a full kitchen and a great cook (Martin). Prices are very reasonable. Check it out!
