That was really sad part. He said that, " you have only reservation, you didn't paid money, so and book another hotel "

The reception staff, especially the guy at the front desk, treated us like aliens—rude, unwelcoming, and downright unpleasant. To make things worse, they put us in a room on the 4th floor with no lift, and breakfast wasn’t even on-site but at another hotel a kilometer away. No room heater during a winter season? Avoid this place at any cost.

• Amin (3/5): Poor - اتاق ما در این هتل در گوشه حیاط بود ، اتاق نم و رطوبت زیادی داشت و داخل سرویس ، روشویی نداشت ، داخل اتاق هیچگونه امکانات چای و لیوان نداشت و لوکیشن هتل اشتباه خورده بود و ما با وسایل مجبور شدیم مسافت زیادی را در سربالایی پیش بریم ،به دوستان این هتل به هیچ وجه توصیه نمیشود
• Saheshan (5/5): It was ok, as we spent almost the whole day visiting places so the flaws in the room didnt bothered us too much. - Its quiet and calm The wardrobe in the room was damaged, balcony door lock doesnt work. Bed is not comfortable. You have to ask for room clean up otherwise they dont clean. No complimentary water provided.

• Ehsanallah (3/5): Our bad accommodation at the Family Castel Hotel - The price was good, Receptions and stuffs were good 1. Hotel don't have elevator 2. Hotel don't have parking ( despite of mention in Booking. Com ) 3. Hotel don't have pool ( despite of mention in Booking. Com ) 4. Our room, the Shower bath was corrupted and did not repaired despite of my request for 4 times ! 5. Our room , The handle door was corrupted and was not repaired for , despite my reminder for 4 times ! 6. Our room , The wardrobe door was not installed in its place and was leaned in our room to the wall, I also requested 4 times to correct this item! 7. Toothbrushes and toothpaste and shampoo and soap and slippers were not in the room,The liquid soap was not in the bathroom and despite our request, they did not pay attention! 8. Breakfast was not served at the hotel! To eat breakfast, we had to go to another hotel at 600 meters of our own hotel, which was not good quality breakfast, taking into account the number of people who came to eat breakfast they didn't charge the food desks!

• Janette (6/5): Pleasant - Comfortable bed They cant speak English, properly, the family hotel is not a family hotel its luxe hotel when we reached, The breakfast is in different location and we need to walk half kilo and come back again half kilometre We asked them if they can serve breakfast to us as we are 5 people at early time around 8 to 8:30 they said yes, but when we reach to the other location they still serve the breakfast late so we ask our booked driver to wait us as the breakfast is not served as what we agreed

• Hristo (6/5): You get what you pay for - Deluxe Castle Family Hotel, as the full name of the hotel is, offers spacious family apartments with two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. A couple of receptionists are also very friendly and helpful. Some receptionists don't even bother to greet you with good morning or hello. The apartment is cleaned only if you insist on it. For all our stay of 11 nights, they cleaned our apartment once. The TV was not working, there were not enough towels, no toilet paper and as a bonus, for three days, we had no water.

• Anton (6/5): Nicely decorated hotel in need of some renovation. Not bad for what we paid for it. - We chose the place mostly because of the location and price, because we had a night flight to Jerevan and needed a place to rest for half a night, have a shower and breakfast in the morning. The hotel lobby and also the room itself are nicely decorated, jet simple - there is ample table space and the air conditioner worked well, which is especially nice in June. There are small shops nearby for basic grocery shopping, coffee, pastry etc. The first confusing thing was that the hotel name on booking.com and in reality didn't match at all - Family Hotel vs Luxe Castle. It's not uncommon for hotels in Jerevan, but does make the place a bit hard to find. As some of the other reviews suggest, the breakfast was offered in a different hotel just down the street, called Mansion. We really liked the fact that our hotel was close to the one where we were actually served breakfast. While there was a kettle in the kitchen, there were no cups, spoons, plates or anything else, which more or less defeats the purpose of having a kitchen or a kettle in the first place. Finally there were other minor issues like missing pillowcases and towels and the shower head really needs descaling.
• Carlijn (3/5): Very bad experience - The bed was quite comfortable We arrived at the stated address: there was no one there and we were send to a different address: the mansion hotel Yerevan. When we arrived there, no one was at the desk. After waiting a man appeared who did not know about our booking. In the end they had a room available for us: with no bad tub and window (which we did pay for). We complaint and were given another room, this time including a bad tub, a window and a cockroach. The receptionist was unwilling to help us with catching the bug. The fridge was full of fungis and very smelly. Since we arrived quite late we woke up quite late and had breakfast around 10am: unfortunately there was hardly any food left.

The Wi-Fi was good. The bathroom was in disrepair. It had no toilet seat. The room had multiple cracks in ceiling unprepared. The coffee pot looked like it had not men cleaned. The floor was old and worn out. The furniture is much older and worn than pictures on site indicate. The pool was empty and dirty. We wanted to cancel our 2nd and 3rd nights and they would not refund. One reason we picked is pool so very disappointing

We were given apartment with 2 rooms that had 10 beds, such a large room gave a very uncomfortable/spooky feeling. The room walls had plaster coming off and curtain rods were broken. Overall the apartment was not maintained well. The bathroom fixtures were old. Bathtub was cracked. No toilet paper. Breakfast was arranged in different hotel.

• Ani (10/5): A lot of value for the price - Good level of privacy, it's a boutique hotel of 4 floors without a lift, more like an apart-hotel or property rental, as most rooms are equipped with kitchen space and washing machine. Best thing about hotel are balconies on each floor with panoramic views at sunset and outdoor sitting areas on both sides with a fire-place you can use for bbq. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, quality windows and good insulation. Central heating & A/C. Was very warm in cold winter nights. Strong walls and good soundproofing. The owner's family also stays at the hotel, so good level of supervision. The staff has the humility and hands-on approach to please all guests' needs. Much appreciated. If language is a barrier, you just whatsapp them or translate into Armenian by google and they will help you. There are no pavements in the nearby narrow streets, so feels like cars are driving into your back. Though 3 minutes walk can take you to N32 bus-stop and 10 minutes ride in both directions can take you to busy shopping & business areas.
