Els (10/5): Fantastisch - Geweldige receptie medewerkers, hielpen enorm. Ook met het boeken van trips. Geweldige parkeerwachter die echt de boel in de gaten hield. Heel comfortabele kamer met balkon en waterkoker. Heerlijke bedden en goede badkamer. Ontbijt is overvloedig en luxe. Je loopt zo de straat in wat wandelgebied is en waar een veelheid van restaurants zijn.

R SIMONI (6/5): Crazy loud music in the hotel restaurant - Location is very central and staff very polite The location is right in the centre of Shkodër. If you are looking for a rather loud stay and easy access to the centre, this is your chance. When we stayed at the hotel, a band was playing in the hotel restaurant until midnight. People were smoking indoors in the hotel restaurant/ bar, and the sigarette smell was drifting all the way to the rooms. The staff is very polite and attentive, but I will not be staying at this hotel again.
Erinda (7/5): Piacevole e abbastanza confortevole. - La camera, la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff, il materasso e i cuscini. Il fatto che mi era stato promesso che avrei potuto avere un caffè prima della mia partenza perché il bar era aperto 24 ore su 24 e questo non è avvenuto, il barista non c'era. Non tutti i prodotti che avevo chiesto per colazione mi sono stati messi in borsa e le uova sode non erano affatto sode ma pochissimo cotte.

The breakfast was fresh and full of options, friendly staff and always ready to help. Also the guards downstairs were very helpful with getting our suitcases from the parking till our hotel room. Bianco (10/5): Ottimo soggiorno! - Abbiamo soggiornato 5 giorni all’Hotel Chicago a Scutari e l’esperienza è stata davvero molto positiva sotto ogni punto di vista. Eravamo un gruppo di 12 persone, composto da 4 famiglie, e nella nostra camera quadrupla ci siamo trovati benissimo: molto spaziosa, pulita e confortevole, perfetta per il nostro soggiorno in compagnia. La colazione è stata uno dei punti forti dell’hotel: ricchissima, varia, con proposte sia dolci che salate, e soprattutto sempre servita al tavolo con grande cura e attenzione. Ogni mattina abbiamo fatto una colazione davvero abbondante e piacevole. Un grande apprezzamento va a tutto lo staff: dalla ragazza della reception, sempre gentilissima, sorridente e disponibile (che si occupava anche del servizio colazione), al parcheggiatore, costantemente presente, cordiale e accogliente. Tutti hanno contribuito a farci sentire a nostro agio per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Un gesto che abbiamo davvero apprezzato è stato quello del giorno della partenza: essendo partiti molto presto, alle 6 del mattino, ci è stata preparata per ogni camera una borsa con cibo da portare via, un’attenzione rara e molto gradita. In sintesi, un soggiorno eccellente che consigliamo vivamente a chi visita Scutari, soprattutto a gruppi o famiglie che cercano accoglienza, pulizia e tanta gentilezza.
Ramona (9/5): - Das Hotel ist an einer super Lage. Man ist direkt im Zentrum. Es gibt Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel. Der Parkwächter hat uns sehr geholfen und ist ein total netter Typ! Das Zimmer ist gut eingerichtet, obschon es wirklicj klein ist. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Reception hat uns sogar ein Frühstück to go vorbereitet, weil wir am nächsten Morgen früh aus-checken mussten. Zimmergrösse.

Luljeta (10/5): A wonderful stay filled with thoughtful touches and great memories - The trip was for our daughter’s birthday, and it was truly memorable from start to finish. She was so excited to see a big sign above the bed saying ‘Happy Birthday.’ She didn’t expect it since her birthday had been the week before our trip, which made it such a thoughtful and special surprise. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond their duties to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Everyone greeted us with a smile, which created a very welcoming and positive atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared, and the bed was especially cozy after long days of traveling. The balcony overlooking the city was absolutely amazing and became one of our favorite parts of the stay. Every moment felt relaxing and special. Every time we visit Shkoder, this will definitely be our home away from home. The only downside was that we could only stay at the Chicago hotel for two nights because of our travel plans. Shkodra is my home city and truly amazing, so I would have loved to spend more time there.

Islami (9/5): Se dovessi ritornare, soggiornerò sicuramente ancora lì . - Albergo molto bello . Stanza grande e molto bella . Posizione ottima, inizio strada pedonale. Personale molto gentile (tranne uno dei due parcheggiatori) ma nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene. Non ostante fossimo davanti alla Moschea non si sentiva il canto della preghiera. Colazione servita e non a buffet, poca scelta ma molto buona. Purtroppo si sentiva a volte un odore poco piacevole dal bagno.

Uros (10/5): - I had an excellent stay at Hotel Chicago in Shkodër. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the service was truly above expectations. My room was very comfortable, with an exceptionally cozy bed, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive. The location is perfect — right in the city center, within the pedestrian zone, which makes exploring Shkodër easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price, which was a great bonus. Parking was also provided, and I have to highlight the extremely friendly gentleman who manages the parking area—he was very helpful with the luggage and made the whole arrival experience even smoother. Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

Carlos (8/5): Correcto - Ubicación perfecta, al lado de las 4 cosas que se pueden ver en la ciudad y de la parada donde salen los tour-operadores a los paisajes cercanos. Personal muy amable, realmente se desviven porque te sientas cómodo y bien acogido. Se pueden contratar tours en recepción (en el ticket de confirmación que te entregan figura nombre del operador, podría ser distinto, en mi caso Northern Escape, furgo amarilla, me llevó a Koman). Cama/almohadas cómodas. Baño un poco antiguo pero con espacio de ducha grande, bien aislada la evacuación del agua del plato. Limpieza correcta. Desayuno aceptable, sin alharacas. Se puede aparcar gratis en la puerta del hotel, tras una valla que levanta el señor que vigila los vehículos y ayuda con los equipajes. Decoración del hotel estilo años 20 agradable. Frío en el comedor al desayunar (octubre), las ventanas quizás no esten bien aisladas. Alguna manchita rebelde en sábanas y edredón.

Kristin (6/5): Preis-Leistung für uns nicht stimmig - Zentrale Lage, Parkplatz vorhanden mit sehr nettem ubd hilfsbereitem Aufseher an der Schranke. Nach einem Zimmertausch hatten wir ein komfortables Zimmer inkl. Sitzecke und Balkon. Wir haben eine Suite gebucht, laut Buchung inkl. Balkon und Dusche. Beides fehlte bzw. statt der Dusche gab es einen "Jacuzzi" - bedeutete eine Badewanne, die zu klein für die Nische war, ohne Duschwand o.ä. sowie einer zu kurzen Handbrause, sodass man seinen Kopf schräg in die Ecke halten musste. Zudem war alles nach der Dusche nass. Nach Rückfrage an der Rezeption war die Dame überfordert und konnte nichts machen. Am nächsten Tag haben wir es bei der Kollegin versucht, die dann erklärte, dass es zwei Suiten gibt und wir das Zimmer tauschen können. Die andere Suite hatte sowohl Balkon als auch eine richtige Dusche und war auch sonst schöner. Restaurant ist veraltet, Steckdosen hängen defekt aus der Wand und beim Frühstück gab es plötzlich eine Stichflamme am Verlängerungskabel, das quer über den Boden lag. Das Frühstück hat uns leider nicht gefallen, da vieles nicht mehr frisch war oder aussah. Wir hatten sechs weitere Unterkünfte in Albaninen, die dies um Längen besser gemacht haben.

YANCHENG (9/5): Really nice! - Location super good! Close to the bus stop to Theth and Tirana. Reception is also quite nice to help us book the ferry ticket to valbona (she even checked with the agent on the availability first 👍 Can store the luggage 👍 The bed is a bit not so comfortable for me personally
Vladimir_1951 (10/5): - Отель расположен в самом центре города на главной улице, но в номере тихо, очень чисто, хороший матрас и подушки. Завтрак прекрасный, несколько сортов сыра, колбас, омлет и яичница, овощи и фрукты, соки и йогурт, выпечка и блины, оладьи, машина с чаем и кофе. Персонал вежливый, старается угодить, всё с улыбкой. Отель старый, сломан держатель туалетной бумаги, шланг в биде протекает, дверь в туалет скрипит, за 2 дня в номере не убирали, дали только один начатый рулон туалетной бумаги. В принципе все эти проблемы можно решить обращением на рецепции, но лень было заморачиваться.

Cheryl (9/5): Great, comfy hotel to stay in Shkoder - We enjoyed staring at the Chicago Hotel. The front desk attendants were very friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean; the beds were comfortable; the bathroom was large and came with all the toiletries that we needed. We also had a beautiful view of downtown Shkoder. We were going to Lumi Shala the next morning. The pick up spot was right across the street. The security guard at the Chicago Hotel allowed us to leave our car parked at the hotel even though we checked out. nothing

Sahar (1/5): - את המיקום הגענו קבוצה להתארח במלון ועדכנו מראש את שעת ההגעה שלנו באמת חכה לנו אדם לקבל אתנו בחניה שטיפל בכל המזוודות והביא אותם עד לחדרים. בזמן הזה ניגשנו לקבלה לצ'ק אין וגם שם חיכו לנו עם החדרים שלנו מסודרים כמו שביקשנו דרך בוקינג מלון יפה ומרשים השירות היה באמת טוב, עד הבעיות. כל החדרים שקיבלנו היו עם ריח רע ומעופשים בחלק מהחדרים ווילונות קרועים נאלצנו להחליף בגדים רק בשרותים שלא נזכיר גם נושא האור בבוקר שלא ניתן להסתיר לא רק ווילונות קרועים בחלקם לא היה מספיק ווילונות לכל החלונות אמבטיה שעולה על גדותה ומציפה את חדר השרותים חדר אחד שהיה ממש קטן שלא היה אפשרות להכניס בו מזוודה אחת אפילו ביקשנו להחליף בחדר אחד נפל החשמל בכל החדר , ועשו קומבינה עם כבל מאריך להפעיל אור בחדר (לא הוחלף חדר) אנשים באמת היו מקסימים אבל ככה ניתן היה לראות שאין בעל בית למקום והוא לא מנוהל אלה פשוט מתנהל על ידי עובדים ללא תשובות לא קיבלנו מענה בנושא החדר היה מאוחר והזמנו לחדרים 3 פיצות אחת היתה בסדר ה-2 האחרות ניתן ביס בכל אחד ולא היה אפשר להמשיך (לצערי אין תמונות) ניגשנו עם 2 הפיצות לקבלה ואמרנו להם שמשהו לא בסדר וזה לא אכיל ,לגבינה יש טעם חמוץ עשו בירור מול המטבח ואמרו שבדקו שהכל טרי, לא הבנו וביקשנו לקבל לראות את הגבינה לטעום אותה אולי אנחנו לא מכירים את הגבינה המקומית וזו הטעם שלה. אמרו לנו שהיא נפתחה הבוקר ובדיוק נגמרה לא קיבלנו לראות אותה ולא הבנו איך בדקו את התוקף של הגבינה אם לא ניתן להגיע לשקית שלה... השארנו את הפיצות בשלמותן ביקשנו משהו לאכול קערת ציפס אפילו לא קיבלנו לא החזר כספי או משהו דומה בתמורה המלון בבוקינג אומר שיש לו חדר כושר , זה לא נכון. שאלנו את הקבלה אם יש חדר כושר ואמרו לנו שכן וזה קומה אחת למטה . אחרי התארגנות ביקשנו הכוונה לחדר הכושר ואמרו לנו " בבקשה הנה מכאן" נכנסנו כאורחים וגורשנו כמסיגי גבול.

Humaid (10/5): - Everything about this hotel was perfect, clean rooms, great facilities, and warm hospitality. But what truly made our stay outstanding was Sonila, one of the hotel staff. She went above and beyond by recommending the best trips in Shkodër, guiding us on what to see, and even helping us plan our journey to the next destination. She also suggested the top traditional restaurants and coffee shops with delicious local food and sweets, and we tried her recommendations, they were truly the best of the best. Thanks to her, our trip to Albania became unforgettable, and she is the main reason we would gladly return to this hotel again.

Arnon (4/5): אכזבה - מלון שנמצא במרכז, כמה דקות הליכה קצרה ומיעים לכל מקום. אשתי נכה עם תג נכה, היינו צריכים לצאת מוקדם בבוקר לטיול שהוזמן מראש, הייתה הפסקת חשמל במלון(אין גנרטור) ולא יכולנו לרדת 6 קומות עם מזוודות מוקדם בבוקר . לא יכולנו לצאת לטיול והתשלום לטיול שולם. הנציגה בקבלה ניסתה להתחמק ולהגיד לנו שזה לא נכון, רק אחרי שהראיתי לה שחייגתי למלון ולא ענו וששלחתי להם הודעה באפליקציית בוקינג הבינה שבאמת היה להם בעייה ועדיין מתחמקת בטענה שהיא צריכה לבדוק . מה יש לבדוק?? ככה אתם בוקינג מפסידים לקוחות ( אותנו) .
Henri (8/5): Juuri rempattu - Yllättävän hyvätasoinen majoitus kylässä, jossa ei ole mitään nähtävää ja koettavaa. Hotelli sijaitsee toisen hotellin päällä, kulku kujalta hissillä. Rempattu suht hiljattain ja suomalaisenkin mittapuun mukaan siististi, mikäli ei oteta lukuun työnjälkeä. Tilava huone, toimiva ilmastointi ja muutenkin kaikki hyvin. Aamiaspuhvetti hyvä, huono suomalainen Scandic häviää tälle. Suosittelen jos tähän tuppukylään jostain syystä eksyy, silloinkin yksi yö piisaa.

Jacob (6/5): Mixed Experience - The room itself was nice but the elevator was broken and we were in 7th floor. The stairway has no working lights and was full of cigarette nuts, trash, and exposed wires. The window in the bathroom was without a curtain or blinds and looked directly down on their dining patio. We had to improvise a curtain so that we could shower or dress in the bathroom without exposing ourselves to patrons of the restaurant.
