Ikke barnevennlig i den forstand. Vi visste dette, og hadde et ganske stille rom, alt i alt veldig fornøyde
- Lisa (7/5): Such a great concept for those who don't mind the noise late into the night. - Excellent attention to detail; the room was well appointed and loved the map of recommended places to eat. The bed was super comfortable and the little book explaining the property and location was a great touch. Also loved the ability to send a text and get a response. Three things that were less than desirable: 1.) The noise from the music at night; despite wearing ear plugs and having the noise machine on full tilt, the room was basically vibrating from the bass. 2.) Super nice touch having records in the room but there wasn't a needle in the record player. 3.) The location of the parking lot.

It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it shows how much care went into creating this place. You truly impressed me and won me over. I felt extremely comfortable, cozy, and inspired by the aesthetic. The vinyl selection was a special treat! I will definitely be coming back.

Les concerts qualitatifs gratuits pour les clients de l’hôtel . Heureusement que nous avons croisé à notre arrivée sur le trottoir une responsable qui venait de terminer sa journée, je ne sais pas comment on se serait débrouillé pour accéder à notre chambre, et au parking privé à 200m

- Jennifer (9/5): - Gold Digger’s Hotel: cozy room, comfy bed, everything clean, super equipped, TV with amazing sound, staff super friendly and replies immediately to messages, free coffee and common area, in the upper level the music sound is not too loud. Location was a bit scary: many people living on the street and far from the main tourist points (but well connected by bus). There is no cleaning of the room during the stay (beds not made, towels not changed, toilet paper not replenished).

Il y a un bar à concert au RDC de l’établissement avec des concerts tous les jours jusqu’à 2h, attention si vous n’aimez pas le bruit.

- Steve (6/5): Vibey little boutique hotel - The location was good, in that was close to the venue, the Hollywood Palladium, that we were going to that night. We were also able to walk to a restaurant for dinner. The parking was a block away and across the street, which was inconvenient when you have roll-away luggage. Also, the record player in the bedroom was not functioning, which was a minor inconvenience. Finally, my partner could not get to sleep, even with hotel provided foam ear plugs, due to the pounding bass of the club music, which went on until 2 a.m.

El ruido del bar que está en el primer piso no nos dejó dormir, siempre hubo bandas de rock en vivo, el parqueadero queda a dos calles y la zona no es segura para caminar, la habitación era muy pequeña, tenías que solicitar por WhatsApp la limpieza de la habitación y nos contestaron que el personal estaba de día de descanso así que no hubo limpieza ni cambio de toallas.

The team went out of their way to manage my luggage around my schedule and the room itself was very unique and comfortable. Massive bonus is the incredible bar and recording studio attached to the property. Highly recommend.

The design was exceptionally beautiful and the small number of rooms made it feel intimate. It’s attached to both a bar and a recording studio. I personally loved the thrum of music in the background - it felt like going to sleep with a a very rowdy house party. Also the bed was EXTREMELY comfy. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t like noise - like I said, I loved it but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Interesting The location isn't good; a very run-down section of Santa Monica Blvd. The shower had a terrible smell coming from the drain, had to keep the exhaust fan running. Read the fine print, no front desk, parking is on another block, checking in can be confusing/difficult depending on time and luggage (staff was helpful though). There's a club downstairs, so expect noise until 2 AM on weekends.

Loved that all the windows opened to let in fresh air. Super fun bar downstairs. The band (Supertaste) that played our first night was phenomenal---they were sold out, but the staff let us in (for free because we were guests of the hotel) and we had a great time. The location is a little scary. It's LA, so you need to be prepared for the dirt and the smells and the homeless. With that said, it WAS within walking distance to all the Hollywood hot spots.

- Mark Edward (10/5): Unique with a capital U - There’s “unique,” and then there’s Gold-Diggers, a five star boutique hotel above a sound studio and small venue night club. Music is the theme! Vinyl turntable in room. vinyl house gift too, along with drink tokens and access to whatever show is happening downstairs. Incredibly helpful staff, but be prepared, the staff is also working the sound studio and everyone goes home at 6pm. After that you’re on your own, more like a high end hip guest house than a hotel. The room was SO comfortable. Gigantic bed, excellent amenities. Only downside is parking/loading in:loading out. There’s no parking at facility, not even for a temporary “get all your bags out of your car and into lobby at check in.” As a result, you will be walking two blocks with all your stuff through a not great neighborhood. Part of the charm, for sure, but definitely wouldn’t want to do it alone late at night. Would definitely stay here again but maybe with a friend and in an Uber.

- David (8/5): Be a rock star for a night - This is a funky boutique hotel that is not for everyone because it is not your typical hotel. There are not a ton of amenitites or amenity spaces. It is hidden behind a gritty facade in a gritty area. We loved it. Rooms are super clean and comfortable, really well designed and make you feel like a rock star. Loved the vinyl in the rooms ! Loved the free entry to see amazing electronic jazz on Monday night. So impressed. A few free drink tokens didn't hurt either! ;) And the neighborhood restaurant reco's were top notch! They could have been more accomodating with our check in time. We did come earlier than 3:00 but we gave notice multiple times that we'd be on time or early and they still had us wait until more like 3:30 or 3:45 to get into our room although it didn't seem like there was anyone in there checking out late.
- Jesse (10/5): Extremely unique and comfy Hollywood spot - The entire hotel is such a unique and enjoyable experience - the location is great, the room was fantastic, and being attached to the bar/venue was a fun bonus. We spend a lot of time in LA but had actually never heard of Gold Diggers having a hotel space and this quickly became one of our new favorite spots. The location is perfect to navigate between Hollywood, Koreatown, and other great neighborhoods and you're very close to the highway to get further north or south if you want. We also really loved our room - it was spacious enough to feel like a bit like a studio apartment (tbh it probably wasn't much smaller than the apartment we had in SF years ago hah), and was super comfortable to just hang out in in between activities. Unfortunately we were busy both nights of our stay so we couldn't check out the bands or DJ sets but it was awesome to get ready for the night to the soundtrack of sound check. We caught a few moments going in and out of our room and they bands sounded great. On our next stay we'll definitely carve out time to catch a show. Being attached to a bar/venue is a double edged sword, especially on the weekends, but my wife and I loved it and didn't have any issues with the sounds.

- Charley (10/5): The best place to stay to feel like a rockstar in LA - I simply cannot express how incredible my experience at this hotel was. I’ve never been made to feel so welcome from any establishment in my years of travelling. Not only is the hotel designed and decorated to perfection, with generous amenities, modern devices and entertainment facilities, comfortable beds and bathrooms. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and the vibe is simply incredible. My room was advertised as a single but the bed was spacious and comfy, and I had a balcony with incredible views of Griffith and the Hollywood sign. The bar is such a great venue and the addition of door entry and free drinks was such a wonderful touch. They were kind enough to store my luggage in the recording studio prior to my evening flight, which made my day so much easier. I can say with absolute certainty that I will not stay in any other hotel when I return to LA in the future. As I work in the music industry, the convenience of a recording studio within the complex is incredibly convenient. I can’t wait to return in future. Thank you! I have nothing negative to say about my experience!

Parking is a block away and is included with the room which is such a bonus for inner LA. The area does seem a bit sketchy at night but we didn't have any issues.

When was the last time you stayed up past midnight playing scrabble in bed while listening to an album. Memorable! Know that you will hear music and talking late into the night so bring your noise cancelling headphones. We arrived late, after 6 when there is no staff on property. It was a challenge to get in and the parking lot was a little sus. Would stay here again. Unique property!

- Carolyn (4/5): - I feel bad giving a mixed review for Gold Diggers. They were so nice and accomodating and pushed our reservation out a couple days when our flight was canceled. The room is thoughtfully decorated and well appointed, and we loved having the record player and fun vinyl collection. Loved the shower. The problem was location, location, location. I didn't realize when I booked the room that it was on a pretty rough part of Santa Monica Boulevard complete with homeless folks, graffiti, super-fast traffic, and a dirty, rundown neighborhood. The worst part was when the band in the bar downstairs started up. They provide ear plugs, but it's impossible to ignore the pounding bass and drums until 2am. If you're planning on being downstairs in the bar partying until early morning (they provide two free drink tokens and entry to the bar for hotel guests), this could be the perfect place for you to sleep. We decided we weren't young and hip or old and deaf enough for this place to be a good fit for us. The parking lot is a block away. After dark, they use a heavy padlock to ensure the safety of guests' cars. If you go out for dinner and need to park afterward, you'll need to diagonally pull in quickly from the 40-mph traffic to the short entry to the lot while you enter the combination into the padlock and pull back the fence. When you see the tagged wall on one side of the lot, you'll be grateful for the padlock. If you like to sleep at night, this is probably not the place for you.

Especially the tall bouncer and the guy that works in the bar and checked me in.

- Wiktoria (10/5): AWESOME!!! - Awesomeness overload! Comfy beds, linen and bathrobes made of great materials. Vintage record player in our room with a selection of great vinyls. The room had all the amenities and all the style! There is a bar downstairs with live music and a great cocktail menu. Even though it is located in the same building, we did not hear anything much from our room. We had earplugs and a white noise machine provided. The staff is very friendly and had no problem with helping us checking in earlier. Located in not-so-nice neighborhood, but you don't really need to walk anywhere far as the hotel has everything you might need.
- AmandaG712 (10/5): Quick LA trip for work - Gold Diggers was perfect - I was in town for only two nights for a work trip and wanted to be somewhere that was convenient for my meetings but also was close enough to the fun stuff throat I could play in the off-work hours. This boutique hotel in LA was the perfect spot for this and was excellent value for money. I stayed in one of the rooms on the second floor at the back of the building. The room was adorable, clean, with a very comfortable bed and an amazing (and huge) bathroom. The bar downstairs has music every night and you can hear it a bit in the evenings but every room has a sound machine and I popped mine in and slept like a baby with no issues. They also have recording studios on the property and I loved hearing some of the musicians in their sessions during the day. You can order drinks to your room during the day and they have a parking lot that is a block down Santa Monica which was very convenient as I had a rental car. 100% will stay here again.

The instructional booklet was a big help, and had the building history, so cool! We were there for the music, Ethio Cali and decided to stay, what a wonderfully way to spend the evening. The personal service when checking in and during our stay was outstanding.

The concert venue cannot be topped as it sounds amazing and is very intimate and never too crowded. Fun way to spend a night out in Los Angeles!

Owners Dave and Rachel have put a lot of love in the rooms which continue the music/recording theme from the on-site recording studio and music venue. My room had albums and a record player. There’s a fun club/bar venue just below with top quality music and DJs. Bartender Adam was welcoming. Recommended !
- aswinw2019 (10/5): HOTEL W/ BEST VALUE - It’s not located in the ritziest park of town but it is definitely a gem. If you like some grit, this place is perfect. Bar below can be a little loud but there are earplugs available. Then again, they do play live music and serve great cocktails so you might be missing out if you stop listening. This is a no fuss hotel. Electronic concierge by text is super responsive. Location is super central. Music > TV kinda place. Overall, this hotel just gives off a really cool vibe! I’d recommend this place to music junkies and good timers.
- Kendall (9/5): Incredible hotel, wonderful staff, amazing music and community in the hotel venue. - I stayed in Room 6 which was perfect for one person, and had a lovely private balcony I would sit out on in the evenings to watch the sunset. The staff brought a brand new turntable up to my room so I could play the new records I'd just bought from The Last Bookstore. The room came with a kettle and garment steamer (love!!) and the guest lounge had great coffee. There were some amazing acts which played in the hotel venue, and I ended up making some wonderful local friends at one of the gigs! Just be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor, so the venue is not accessible to wheelchair users. The area isn't the safest but having the bar open until 2am every night made coming back late at night a lot more comfortable!
- Jil (9/5): Unique experience - The hotel is 100 % unique. The combination of music studio, event location and thoughtfully curated rooms is something special. The people who run the place are inspiring minds with a great heart. The design and equipment of the room is extraordinarily good. Parking is available nearby and for free (which is in LA a real USP). The area of the hotel is central but not in the heart of a vibrant district. Meaning no cool coffee shops or anything like it in walking distance. But I guess that's the thing about the US. You simply drive everywhere. One word regarding the noise as well. As cool as it is to have free live events every night just downstairs of your room, combined with an awesome with great drinks, the noise in our room was just over the edge. We are good sleepers and yet, you feel like being on stage with the band when in your bed. I would still overly recommend this hotel for alle the good things mentioned above, but you really need to be willing to go to the live acts and enjoy the music instead of trying to get a rest in this place. :)

The personal communication you receive while staying here was pleasantly unexpected! The hotel is also a club/bar so expect noise. But we went down to join the fun then easily walked backed to our room and knocked out with no problem. The personal touches you receive here- you will not find at most hotels. Parking was free in a parking lot that's a small walk away. You would not expect how adorable this place is from judging the neighborhood. You'll love this surprise!!!! We can't wait to come back and stay again!!!

On this visit, we were able to better famiilarize ourselves with the facility, and attend a record release party in the the bar. We had a wonderful stay, and already bookjed another weekend for August. The hotel has ten room, and several recording studios so it’s a unique property. Here’s what we love about Gold-Diggers: Friendly and efficient staff make your experience stress free Great location, easy to get to Everything in the rooms is high quality, from the bed linens to the shampoo and lotion, and towels Roomy refridgerator to store drinks including two compimnetary waters Each guest gets a free drink at the bar (the token is on your bed) and you get in free admission to the bar for live music and special events There’s a lovely lounge on the main floor of rooms with a Nespresso machine, ice, filtered water The facility is among the cleanest we have stayed in, the staff takes great pride in providing a premium experience for their guests The communication is all done via text message whcih is a great tool, but you can stop by and see a live person at the office if you wish. This ia a music-lovers paradise with the Sonos speakers, selection of recording sessions to watch and hear, and Alexa supported voice commands to listen to whatever your heart desires. Last but not least, One thing to note: stairs go up to the rooms, no elevator.

Everything went super smoothly, we were given thoughtful attention which was so lovely and the room was beautiful. The whole place has a great vibe and style and the cozy bar, awesome cocktails and live performance were a standout. It's a really central location for hanging out anywhere in East Hollywood, or Silverlake, Echo Park, Los Feliz. Free parking a block away was easy. I can't recommend it more and will totally be back!

- barbarann9 (8/5): Boutique Hotel EaHo - This hotel / bar / music venue / recording studio is super cute and well themed. I checked in at the bar and the bouncer / doorman recognized me immediately each time he saw me after check in. This really made me feel safe - the bouncer is clearly keeping an eye on who is on the street. The bed was comfy, I really appreciated the white noise machine. The room looks exactly like the pictures. It is comfortable - bed and linens are worth the slightly pricey rate. I did notice at check out that either the pillow or pillowcase could stand to be replaced. They have a parking lot less than a block away… but I would not feel comfortable walking it at night if I was alone (female). I had my partner with me so it was fine. The parking lot is not locked and there is a manual gate. The hotel itself was super quiet, there are 2 flights of stairs. I never saw anyone else inside the hotel or in the hallways. I felt very safe in the hotel, the entry door and room doors are code operated. It’s right next to the bar so the bouncer is keeping an eye on things when the bar is open. We wanted to stay in EaHo and the location is perfect. Quick drive or ride share to Pantages, many bars and restaurants. Would definitely book again if we come back to LA!
- Francesca (8/5): Modern and comfortable room but beware of noise from the bar - We loved the room itself - the design and decor was super modern and the facilities went over and above what we were expecting. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we arrived to free drinks tokens and a vinyl on the bed which was a nice touch. The noise. We stayed in room 3 for 3 nights and there was loud live music every night, followed by a DJ / loud music from the bar. It genuinely sounded like the band was playing in the room, the walls were thumping and vibrating. Luckily we were quite jetlagged and tired so we managed to somehow sleep, although it wasn’t preferable and we still had very disturbed sleep. The room needs soundproofing as no ear plugs will help with that level of noise directly below the room!
