- Tom (10/5): A five star experience in an absolute gem of the city - This hotel is an absolute gem! It is impeccably decorated and maintained. The garden area is an artistic oasis for guests to unwind and be served a refreshing beverage if desired after a day of exploring Venice. The breakfast that is served by the professional staff in a classically beautiful room and the free cicchetti offered during happy hour in the library are absolutely unmatched in the variety and quality. The staff are first class and are clearly dedicated to making your stay the best possible. Finally, the location is easy walking distance to public bus, train and water transportation. I cannot imagine a better place to stay that is away from but easily accessible to the bustling tourist areas and attractions. Easily a five star hotel and experience. Absolutely nothing!

- Benjamin (8/5): A good but not great place to stay in Venice - Conveniently located if you travel to Venice by train. It’s right on a canal. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were attentive. Loved the outdoor patio area. While the location is convenient, the immediate area around the hotel is not particularly charming. We had issues with the wifi in our room throughout our stay. We complained about that and the staff tried (apparently without success) to make it right. Breakfast was good but not great (compared to other hotels at a similar price we’ve stayed at). The staff were kind, though — and I can understand/sympathize with this — they didn’t come across as particularly genuine. We ended up complaining about a bunch of stuff to Booking.com (wifi, outlet wasn’t working, unexpectedly small room) and Booking.com forwarded our complaint to the hotel. To the hotel’s credit, they offered to switch our room — but only within the price class we paid for, which felt like offering nothing. They offered to send (and did send) some free fruit and a cheap bottle of prosecco to our room, which we appreciated, though again it wasn’t much. All in all we thought the hotel was fine but for the price we were disappointed and would not stay here again.

The atmosphere is charming and elegant, and the staff were truly amazing — friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The only thing that was a little less ideal was the size of the room, but this is something we expected in Venice, so it did not affect our overall experience. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was good overall, but the eggs and other cooked options could be improved. The omelette that I ordered was mediocre. The (breakfast) buffet was very good, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. The booking.com site indicated that we could reserve twin beds, but this wasn't communicated to the hotel. The following day, they converted the room with a King size bed into twins, but booking.com needs to improve communication with hotels that use your services. The same thing happened at our next hotel-also reserved through booking.com

- T2244TSjohnm (10/5): A true gem of a hotel! - Our stay at Hotel Moresco was nothing short of perfection. A great location as only short walk from Piazzale Roma and the Santa Lucia train station. We were greeted with a warm welcome and complimentary drinks and snacks while the staff took care of our luggage. The room was stunning, uniquely decorated with a stand alone bath & walk in shower. Very cean and remarkably quiet, offering a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a high-quality buffet, with eggs cooked to order in a relaxed setting. In the evening, the hotel hosts a happy hour with wonderful local snacks & drinks. A lovely way to unwind after walking the streets of Venice. The staff where friendy & professional from the start to the end of our stay. Would certainly stay here agian.

We were welcomed with coffee of our choice and a cake in the garden while the reception was proceeding with our check in. Breakfast with high quality products, quiet and relaxing. There is even a Chichester in the afternoon! The most important ingredient: THE STAFF! Amazing service, attention and politeness. Absolutely recommend to everyone this jewel of only 23 rooms. Clean and spotless. That I cannot find availability for dates later in the year!!!

The location was in a more quiet neighborhood than the main touristy areas, which was much nicer and had more boutique stores and lots of local bars and restaurants, but was still not too far from the main sights. Every little thing was thought of to provide convenience for the hotel guests, from the welcome drinks and nibbles, exceptional staff service and right down to the pocket tissues offered by the filtered water. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Moresco and would love to visit again! Nothing at all!

- cpeterso4 (10/5): A lovely stay - We enjoyed this hotel and felt well taken care of while there. Although some parts of the city took awhile to get to as it’s more in the western part of the city, it’s a less than ten minute walk from the train/bus stations to get in and out of the city with our luggage easily. Upon arrival, we came during the evening appetizers and the staff just took care of all our bags and check in efficiently while we just got to enjoy. The morning breakfasts were quite yummy as well. The rooms were impeccably, clean and decorated nicely. Overall, would definitely stay there if we ever make it again to Venice!
- Nicky (10/5): 2nd visit and didn’t disappoint - This hotel is beautifully decorated in the venetian style. Breakfast options are lovely and the happy hour cicchetti is such a lovely touch. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are very helpful. Our second visit in 10 years and it was as perfect as our first visit.

- Sparklebabe (6/5): Indifferent - Adequate stay . Room was clean not my aesthetic, bathtub with no walk in shower. Lots of trinkets and pot pourri everywhere . Good location for transport hubs . Breakfast ok good coffee . Haughty receptionist 😂 not pleased when I wanted to pay my bill without checking out ! Barman doesn’t offer last orders he just disappears before 10pm closing time . Reception couldn’t give less of a you know what !!

- Paige (9/5): I would stay again for the food and service alone. Rooms nice and clean - Very nice staff, good breakfast and food at dinner complementary appretivos very filling. Room was clean. Bathroom layout could be better, but mainly due to size. Not my favorite location in Venice but very close to bus station if that is important to you.
- Crookedbillet (10/5): Another excellent stay at this superb hotel - Another stay at this delightful hotel. Excellent staff. very comfortable rooms and one of the best breakfast buffets. Very near the travel terminus and so easy to reach from the airport by bus and a short walk. Venice never falls to please as a venue to visit, we will be back.

- Doori (10/5): - 직원 분들이 정말 친절했어요. Andrea, Enga 등 언급하고 싶은 이름이 정말 많네요. 조식도 정말 완벽했고요! 올림픽 일정 때문에 이동해야해서 조식을 못 먹는 날에 Meal box를 제공해주기도 했어요. 시설도 전반적으로 깔끔하고, Piazzale Rome 에서 도보 이동도 좋기 때문에 완전 추천합니다!

- honestsimon1 (10/5): Perfect hotel for us - I have to admit I booked this hotel hoping that the trip advisor reviews lived up to expectations and they 100% do ! The hotel is prefect! Staff are amazing! Our room was beautiful (love the massive shower) they even set out a complimentary tapas @6:30pm which we thought was great. Breakfast was on point lots of tasty choices. Hopefully will return to Venice when the kids are older and will 100% be staying here. Thank you for everything it really made our birthday’s special
