• Cecilia (6/5): Por el precio está bien, pero no sé si volvería a arriesgarme a estar con cucarachas. - Lo mejor es la ubicación y su personal. La ubicación es ideal para cualquiera que quiera moverse por los lugares más icónicos y es fácil llegar a cualquier parte. Al contrario de otras review, considero que es bastante seguro al lado de otros sectores, y en lo personal no pasé miedo ni llegando a las 1AM. Por otra parte, el personal es increíblemente amable y simpáticos, eso me agradó bastante. Me ofrecieron check in antes, cosa que valoro bastante. Creo que tienen muy descuidados algunos aspectos. Tres días cuando llegaba encontraba cucharas en el baño, a lo que tuve que tapar todas las salidas de cañerías para que no volviera a pasar (esto funcionó). Además, tanto cuándo llegue como la vez que me cambiaron sábanas (después de días poniendo el cártel de que me hicieran aseo) tenían agujeros por quemaduras de cigarro, manchas de dudosa procedencia, hilos sueltos y usualmente sucias. Parecía que hace mucho no las cambiaban. También habían pelos en la ducha cuándo llegue, y en general no era muy limpio.
• ALDILANIA (9/5): A comfortable, safe, and welcoming stay in the heart of Hollywood, with kind staff, a great location near the Walk of Fa - I had a really great experience staying at Trylon Hotel in Hollywood. The front desk staff, especially Robby (I hope I got his name right), was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. He made me feel very comfortable from the moment I arrived. One thing I absolutely loved was having a safe inside the room. As a woman traveling alone, it gave me so much peace of mind to safely leave my documents and important belongings and go out feeling relaxed and secure. The location is also excellent. It is very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and I felt comfortable walking around the area, which made the whole experience even better for me. The only small suggestion I would make is regarding the shower temperature controls. Sometimes the water would suddenly get hotter or colder, and since there wasn’t much indication on the handle, it was a little confusing at first. It was not a major issue at all, just something that could perhaps be improved.
• Rocha Jr (10/5): - I liked that it was close to Universal Studios and the walk of fame. There was dining in the area also walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the owner accommodated my need when I asked. He was friendly and the area was nice. I will definitely book again on my next trip to Universal studios. I can't complain about anything, the area was great.
• Diana (1/5): Cockroach invested rooms - We checked in, 3-rooms looked clean, I placed my purse on the bed, seen cockroaches squirm from around the pillow. Husband coming out of the restroom stated cockroaches around bottom of toilet bowl. Room was infested with cockroaches. 2nd room was a family member whom screened while in restroom cockroaches around the floor and tub window area. 3rd room family member checking mattress removed thin cover, to see bedbugs. We immediately ran downstairs to ask for a refund. Management refunded only one room fees I am still fighting for reimbursement
• Maks (5/5): - I probably got the best room, with balcony leading to a big terrace. That terrace was really nice, and apperantly was locked - so safe. Room decor looks nice, and there were many pillows. Staff was really nice. Bathroom was not clean with hair on the floor. Also there were some alive bugs in it. Ig that happened cause of torn window mesh. Balcony doors were a bit thin for all the loid noises i heard from the outside. Homelless people are sleeping very close by hotel. Would not go out at night.

Wouldn't be my first choice but would stay again - Relatively close to Hollywood Blvd and the buses The room was kinda clean but the bathroom, in particular, wasn't very' clean at all. There was this brownish grime in the corners of the bathroom and the shower. There was also a bug on the toilet upon my arrival and then I found another big bug crawling on the bed later during my stay.

• Ortiz (4/5): Unfortunately the stay was uncomfortable and did not feel secure. - The location is convenient and close to Hollywood attractions. The exterior of the building looks decent from the outside. The room had a strong unpleasant smell when we arrived. The door to the room also looked damaged, as if someone had tried to break it open before, which made us feel uncomfortable about the security of the room. Parking was inconvenient because we had to park our car at a nearby gas station instead of a secure hotel parking area. While we were out, staff entered the room to take out the trash while all of our belongings were still inside, which made us feel uneasy given the other issues with the room.

Management on property at all times! I even had to check out the night before check out and no problems at all.! Thank you Trylon hotel .

• Alexandru (6/5): It’s alright probably, but only if you find this at a super low rate compared to others - Location is ok It’s been renovated by someone who didn’t know what they were doing, landlord-type of patchy repairs. That often creates the impression of dirty, but it’s just loosely applied black silicone for example, or just poorly applied tiles, etc

My mother can’t walk well last night when we went to check in they did not have our handicap room apparently they only have 1 handicap rm & it was rented already. To top it off we couldn’t get a refund at all not even 1/2. The manager Rajik was very rude about it… the neighbor is also pretty scatchy too. We could have our handicap room or at least the deposit….

• Annika (9/5): - Die Lage ist super, in 5 min ist man auf dem Hollywood Walk of Fame und man hat eine direkte Anbindung vor Ort an das Busnetz. Der Preis war für den Ort sehr fair. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kann einem gute Tipps zur Erkundung der Stadt geben. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gemacht. Die Einrichtung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, was aber an sich nicht stört,da alles funktioniert hat. An manchen Ecken könnte es etwas sauberer sein und im Gang hat es immer seltsam gerochen.

I made my wife uncomfortable so we left in the middle of the night right after that to another motel lost money for staying at a place under 1 hour

• Titus (4/5): What stay? - Great price for a last minute booking. The setup of the two room was decent. Decent because it was small. Two rooms and a tiny bathroom separating the two rooms. The beds were comfy as well. Also the hotel was centrally located for what we wanted to do (Universal Studios, Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame…) The resident roaches were definitely the deal breaker. We checked in at 3a and I caught one before discreetly telling my family to keep their bags off the floor. After returning from our day out we opened the door and I caught 3 more roaches, we grabbed our stuff and left immediately (7p). We didn’t even stay night until the room. Parking was tough as well, but understood for the location.

• Kim (8/5): Good location for seeing Hollywood walk of fame - Receptionist was friendly. Hotel a short walk from Hollywood Walk of Fame. The local area was a bit unsettling after dark. There were several homeless people nearby and some asking for money.
• Harvey Ryan (8/5): Great location - Location was great for Hollywood Boulevard, Griffith Park and some good bars and restaurants. There were also great discounts at local coffee shop and convenience store. Couldn't open the curtains as the room was overlooked.
• Danigrey (1/5): No lo cojáis, es horrible, no merece la pena - Nada, absolutamente nada Mal olor, ambiente desagradable, parking 25$ y es en la gasolinera de enfrente cosa que podía buscar yo un aparcamiento y me dijo que no había opciones cuando no era real… Olor insoportable, homeless o gente con muy mala pinta( ropa rota, mal olor, gente que daba respeto saliendo a fumar del mismo hotel) No quería ni quedarme allí y como no me devolvían el dinero estuvimos unas horas y nos fuimos.

• Steven (2/5): Very poor! - Location for convenience. This place is a dump! Smelled like mildew (probably from very old carpet. TV remote didn't work and parking (not on property or secure) was at a gas station a block and half away (in pouring rain)!

There were stains on the sheets, busted door jambs, horrible mold and mildew in the bathroom and we were only given one key card on arrival and when we were given a second card neither of them worked at the front door. The single use coffee pot is outdated and the coffee shop nearby didn't open until 8:00am.
