- Chunping (9/5): It is OK - Nice place, quiet environment, it is convenient to eat and drink any type of Korea food. Bathroom is too old, water flows around the tub and onto the floor. The design of the faucet is very poor.
- Shalee (8/5): Fantastic Aircon, good location, value for money and space. - La Casona is in a great location for anyone wanting to get out of the bustle and touristy area of HCM. District 7 is a great starting point for people new to the country or travelling and dont want to be overwhelmed by busyness. The area around here has a lot of great Korean food options. Also there is a convenience store literally next door for you to get snacks and drinks. The room is spacious and has fantastic airconditioning. Because the room is locked by a key rather than a card, the aircon keeps running even when you are not in the room. This alone is an advantage of La Casona, I would stay here for the aircon alone! The Netflix also works and is a good TV, and we found the housekeeping to be great, with ample towels and water each day. For us, the bed was too firm. Being Westerners we prefer a softer bed, but we coped, especially as the pillows were fantastic. Also, the reception speaks very little English so that made requests and communication challenging. A final note- make sure to take the silver drain out of the shower floor. Otherwise, the water will not drain properly. Learnt this the hard way.

- Julia (5/5): Passable - The Hotel is located in the Korean neighborhood with a lot of shops, restaurants and trees around it. However it’s a bit of a drive to the city center. The room is well equipped but that’s about it The bed is super uncomfortable and hard. The room was also not super clean to be honest. We stayed here for four night and twice the cleaning ladies had left the door to our room open. Additionally there was never someone at the reception to give useful tips or recommendations. Overall we did not really feel comfortable in this hotel

Receptionists are friendly and accommodating. In one room there was just a bath tub with no shower curtain, means you would flood the bathroom when taking a shower. The bed is rather hard but that's a question of taste.
