Guest Reviews
- Borgohain (2/5): Very poor - Nothing Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the hotel. Despite being located in the city center, the surrounding area was seedy and uninviting. The room itself was cramped and overpriced, failing to meet my expectations. The bathroom was also extremely small and claustrophobic. The disparity between the hotel's promises and the actual experience was stark, making it a poor value for the high room rates.
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fabian (5/5): Passable -
- Diego (8/5): Very good - Everything is perfect for a night or two…
Don’t expect a 5stars hotel, you r also not paying for that… but slept really good, bed is comfortable and everything was clean… so happy with the stay here!
- Trang (5/5): Passable - I stayed in 4th floor, but when I asked for a lift, staff said the stair was more convenient.
Bathroom was not clean.
Have to ask staff for a drinking water.
- Jela (7/5): We had a good time in the Meow Hotel. Our room was different to the one we chose online and it was quite dark inside. Bu -
- Vo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (1/5): Dirty, musty hovel - nothing Our flight was delayed for several hours, and we arrived in the city until around 3 a.m. With no other place to go, we stayed at the facility for a few hours before we were able to leave at dawn. Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The street where the facility is located is in poor condition, and the entrance to the ‘hotel’ is far from ideal – you have to pass through a garage filled with parked mopeds, then take an elevator that barely works, there is no reception.
However, the most disappointing part was the room. Honestly, it was the dirtiest room I have ever encountered. I would strongly advise avoiding this place if you are looking for a comfortable and clean stay
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is great, instead of a TV there was a projector, very original.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Anastasiia (5/5): I won't stop here.again - Nice staff, ready to help (printed documents for us) From the first day there was a fuss with ants: they were everywhere, including the bed. The room was not very clean, there was something left in the refrigerator from previous guests. We witnessed local cleaning on the floor above: garbage is simply thrown out the window, it falls on the balcony of the neighboring house (which is window to window with our room). It was often very noisy.
- Para (5/5): Passable - Location and there is a drinkable water for free. Not clean and staff are not english speeking teenagers.
- Anahita (9/5): Cute hotel with friendly and hostile owner - Very friendly and hostile owner, liked it a lot. Location is great and they had the comfiest bed I slept in so far here in SEA.
- Ovadia (8/5): Very good -
- Nidhi (8/5): Very good -
- Thao (10/5): Exceptional -
- Willie (8/5): Very good -
- Lâm (9/5): Superb -
- Kishan (1/5): Bad - No response received from Hotel over mail No response received from Hotel over mail
- Lam (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Cockroaches everywhere
- Kavinder (7/5): Good -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (5/5): Not very good - Accessible, friendly staff and reasonable price The bed sheets and pillows feels itchy on the skin as if its dirty and not changed after each guests. The bathroom floor looks dirty and very slippery. I slipped on the floor while taking shower. There were no towels, tissue and electric kettle when i arrived in the room. I need to ask the staff for these! The hot water is not working well! The sink on the bathroom leak water after each use!
- Ruth (8/5): Very good - Great location
Very clean
- Hung (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarah (6/5): Pleasant -
- Luke (3/5): Poor - Good location, cheap Pictures do not accurately represent property, we had three rooms, in one, the bathroom wall only extended about 70% of the way to the roof, and above you could see pipes, and a hole that extended vertically through the full building, all the bathrooms were very mouldy and smelt quite bad, I think staying here is probably a health concern. The entrance looks like someone's house, and you have to stand there for about 2 minutes before the receptionist gets off their phone and acknowledges your presence, which makes it difficult to tell if you are in the right place.
- Dasilva (8/5): Very good -
- Joanne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shah (1/5): Bad -
- Robert (5/5): Passable - I give 5 stars because girl was nice to me after she said they have no room available after I booked a night. That was a second hotel same night where they told me there is no room after my booking. Only no room available so I cannot say much.
- Son (10/5): Exceptional -
- Berend (4/5): No 24h reception! Do not arrive here before 08:00. - The location of this hotel is great. No 24-hour reception: arrived at 5AM, expecting to at least drop my luggage but got rudely waved off by someone sleeping in the lobby. The 24h reception is a bold lie! During the rest of my stay I barely saw any staff, the only one I saw did not speak English. The bed is very hard, the room dirty and small.
- Nurul (8/5): Very good -
- Nadia (8/5): Very good -
- Marlon (4/5): Bad place - Ubication
+ Ac is good Give me a room, people have just left, but they solved, after saying that we were the ones who had it like this when we just entered
- Room is very, very small, incomfortable
- More than a hotel it seems like a motel(place to have sex)
- Personal staff keeps confused
- not has windows
- Relation quality / price is worst
- Vanessa (9/5): Great location, can walk around to most places easily from here and lots of convenience stores near like 7/11 and ci - Clean and chill environment. I liked how they gave you slip on sandals so no one wears their shoes inside. A bit noisy at night/ morning so bring earplugs! From construction to clubs you can hear it pretty well.
- Ha (6/5): weird and messy hotel. - Location is good. The house is old and messy, and the room feels stuffy and not very clean. I got itchy after lying on the bed, and there's a weird smell.
- Trung (7/5): Good -
- William (2/5): Turbulent but staff helped - Nothing really the room was not as described, or looked on the pictures , good location
Staff helpful when we asked to leave hotel but had to stay one night as we landed late ,
Beautiful Christmas tree in the foyer
The room was just small white tiles . No natural light although there was a sort of window
Staff offered us another room . But on Bt op floor and no lift to it
My husband is semi disabled so no good
Bed was comfy The white tiled walls the room was not finished
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sebastian (5/5): Passable - Location is very good, close to everything what you want to see. Window is not a balcony!
From all the stuff that ina description say it have, it doesn't have even half. No shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
It was not clean enough.
Water pressure is not good.
I was waiting 10 minutes more for check-in.
- Liam (1/5): Bad - Near the night walking st Moisture in room. Mould
- Rachel (7/5): Comfy but very basic - The bed was insanely comfy and the driver was so fluffy and soft It for not match the pictures exactly. The water didn't work in the tap and then not in the shower or toilet.
- 윤정 (2/5): Very poor - Mattress was comfortable Taxi driver could not find the hotel. Later I realized the hotel was inside the narrow alley. No cars can access to the hotel. There was no reception but many motorcycles so I didn't notice that building is a hotel. I found lipstick marks on the cup inside the room. A leftover water bottle inside the fridge. And there was no toilet lid. I was embarrassed how I should flush the toilet. Until i left I have no idea how to do it.
- Tricaesarif (8/5): Very good - i was came in early morning i just want left my luggage at lobby but the staff let me early check in without any add fee. nothing everything is fine with reasonable price
- Lagmani (8/5): Very good -
- Beth (8/5): Very good - Free bottled water.
Plenty of food hawkers and eateries. staff needs to study more English words.
- Brooke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tee (9/5): Superb -
- Gregory (8/5): No frills budget room. - Everything worked. Hot water was hot, aircon was cold. Good no frills room for cheap in district 1. Room was clean, toilet was clean. Ok bed softness, not too hard. Did I mention that it's cheap? No elevator/ lift, aircon condenser piping not insulated in the false ceiling so condensed water drip from the ceiling. Just a little. Lobby didn't have a proper reception desk.
- Rhea (6/5): cheap, good loc but go elsewhere cleaner - good location, walking distance to a lot of good spots; free water but in disposable bottles (not good for environment) room is not as pictured; not sound proof; room was quite dirty with webs and dust and cockroaches
- Suren (7/5): Good -
- Michael (8/5): Very good - The room is very nice in details. Good sheets and bed was comfortable. Even if there is not so much light it was ok for the different types of artificial lights. AC works well and the fan too. Room was nevere hot.
The staff is amazing, they do our laundry for free and also the water that you have in the fridge room is free. Top location for moving with public transport and near you there are a lot of tour agency where you can pick up bus or sleeping bus.
The park in front of the street is cool to chill out in the evening and the small street of the guesthouse is very silence even if you are next to party street.
Highly recommended!!
- Silvia (10/5): Tiny but perfect! - The owner is really nice! She arrange us a trip for the Mekong Delta the night before, trying to find the best agency and price for us, even if it was late in the evening and everything was already booked. Perfect WiFi, even if the room is little, they provide a little iron for the clothes, soap, hairdryer.
- Niña (8/5): Reasonable place to stay. - The place is clean and very close to the walking street, close the party street. It was accessible. The problem is that AC isn’t that cold. Felt not working.
- Harriet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (8/5): In the middle of everywhere.. - The location is perfect, in the middle of Benh Thanh Market - Bus Station - Bui Vien Street. You can go to and from the airport with 109 bus (nearest bus stop just next to the park, one stop from the bus station).
The staffs are nice and helpful. Free bottled water, sell soft drink and also provide ice for your drink. Their english are fairly good, but in case you have difficulty in language just type in google translate, make your life and the other person easier.
Facilities :
There is a refrigerator in my room; Ceiling fan and AC working perfectly; House slippers provided; Shoe locker with room number in the first floor.
Coffee & snack stalls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars are plenty. Do not worry. There is a market (not Benh Thanh) with many food stalls just in the corner next to the bus station.
There are some halal restaurant near :
* Taj Mahal (just a couple houses from the hotel)
* Taj Mahal & Baba's Kitchen (Bui Vien but not in the middle of the party street). It is not what i didn't like but just for consideration since this hotel located in the alley :
At night there might be some locals hanging out near the hotel. In my case, the alley finally quiet before midnight and there was no sound from Bui Vien at all.
There is no elevator, so be prepared to climb the stairs with your luggage.
I did not see any cat in the hotel, i thought it is a cat hotel. The cat-dog sound available sometime at night though.
- Phong (9/5): Superb -
- Ksawery (10/5): Perfectly located and low price! - Individual room, great location, communicative personnel. No garage for the scooters, they were inside the lobby...
- Tu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trang (7/5): Good -
- Anna (1/5): fun party with bedbugs - good location, renovated and well equipped bathroom it was a bit dusty under the bed, but that's not the main problem
the problem is that bedbugs bit me here at night, I noticed this in the morning but I did not attach any importance. At first I didn’t understand what happened, but the consultation of doctors prompted the idea to check the reviews. Happened, that the presence of bedbugs was written earlier, but it was a review of a large room. It turned out that I was allergic to bites and now I am on treatment.
Also, if you live on the ground floor, expect to be able to hear all the conversations and sounds of the renovation.
- Bảo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (10/5): Great Place in Saigon - Great! Location great! Go to one side you are at Party (Walking) Street . gmGo other side - park. My room had no window. It was so quiet (5th floor) I could sleep without ear plugs. Clean room and comfortable bed. Would send my friends here.
- Sujoy (4/5): The Room could have been better with Meow - This hotel provides free water kept in their lobby fridge free of cost. My room had a work style comfortable chair which was nice. The bed was comfortable to sleep and my room had a large window. The attitude of the evening staff, they are not friendly. The bathroom ceiling were cracked, ventilation shaft was broken and unfiltered. Aircon was not functioning properly and not properly maintained and filtered. One ceiling lamp flickering, door lock broken, and random eves dropping in my room at night. But at the end of the day this was what I got on a short notice. Rest all passable.
- Ian (9/5): Great location, peaceful at night - Good location, near Bui Vien party street but in a quiet little alley where you can find great cheap food. Clean room equipped with a kettle, AC unit and a fan. Clean new bathroom with everything provided. Very friendly and helpful hosts! The fan and two air ducts are in a dire need of cleaning. The hotel is tricky to find, so attention should be paid to street numbers. It is located in a very narrow alley that you enter from 265 Pham Ngu Lao street. It is some 50m behind Liberty Parkview.
- Zoe (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tracey (10/5): Peaceful and Enjoyable - I pretty much like the vibe and the organization of this place. The service is 10/10😘. Near Bui Vien street so easy to travel anywhere around the center. Good price good place. Also, renting a bike in Meow and traveling around by yourself at night is a really good idea. Thank you so much and I will come back soon. maybe the narrow alley and the ground floor are always full and busy. But I can understand that and get used to it because it's “Vietnamese Cuisine”.
- Panel (8/5): Very good - Generally I would say its a good value for money. This is not super up-scale property but rooms are clean and fashionable, remove the bikes from reception area dn build a proper common space there. This is a hotel not a parking place ;-)
- Chen (7/5): very decent room for the price - Good location along pham ngu lao street. Room was neat and clean. Have to climb up 4 floors. Not easy when you are tired/drunk. Also have to take off shoes at the lobby - don't like this.
