Nada!
- Stefano (10/5): -
- SIN PING (8/5): -

- Gerard (6/5): Good price for a private bedroom in Osaka - Cheap price for a private bedroom Not too clean
Need to buy towel
- Hiromi (8/5): -
- Nina (8/5): - It's near the Midosuji line which is like one of the main lines so it's very convenient to go around. They don't allow you to leave luggage even there will be no staff to comeback to but they recommend a very cheap luggage storage nearby. All good though, but I just I didn't expect that it didn't come with towels so I had to pay for it.
- Al (10/5): - The people at the hotel were absolute angels. I couldn't be happier with the receptionist, she was the sweetest girl I've encountered in Japan and made me feel so welcomed. The cleaning staff were really nice too. In general I had an amazing experience, always felt really safe and everything was clean. I was hesitant at first of the shared bathrooms but the common spaces are really clean and very spacious so I've never had a problem.
The private rooms are kind of small, but I had two big suitcases with me and I managed pretty well.
The location is really good too.
If I ever go back to Osaka alone I'll stay here again. It has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but just in case, specially for the solo travel girls, on busy late nights, at the main shopping street next to the hotel, (doubutsu en mae) it's frequent to meet with really drunk men because it has a lot of karaoke and hostess bars, I got cat-called two times, nothing too bad, but it's still something that's better to avoid. It's easy to take other routes, but the first times I got out of the station through the exit that went directly to that street. The most convenient exit out of the Doubutsuen Mae metro station is number 4.
During the day it's a very busy and safe street, this was just my experience during a few summer late nights.
- Gladys Marykusi (10/5): Great, I’ll go back every time I can - Location to Metro, JR, train (direct to airport), Mega Don Quijote, food and 30 min distance to touristic places Not many showers but still works
- emidio (1/5): Left immediately - The staff welcomes you warmly. Mouldy and dirty walls and doors in the rooms, the shared bathroom had a nasty smell, with only 3 toilets shared among too many rooms.
Showers located at another floor.
No security, everyone could potentially get in at night.
We immediately left for a better spot.
We had booked for two nights and asked for a refund (at least for the second night), the property rejected my request.

- Robin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhesa (8/5): Very good - Good location. Decent rooms AC in my room wasn't working. Good thing it's spring so weather is still cool
- Jackson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cherng (7/5): Value for money - The hotel was located in the downtown area, making it easy to walk to one of OSAKA's biggest attractions, Shin Sekai. There are also plenty of Izakaya restaurants in the next walking street for people who like to chill during the night. Don't expect a clean zone given the common shared toilet and public bath concept. The toilet smell permeates the hallway, and the room wall is insufficiently thick to block off the snoring sound from the next room.
- David (8/5): Great value, clean and quiet budget accommodation - Great value, clean and quiet
- Mouad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tobie (9/5): Superb -
- Julien (9/5): Superb -
- Wuhua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Orla (8/5): Very good - Very comfy beds and enough room in the bedrooms, showers were lovely and warm. And also hotel very close to the metro! The sink for the bathroom, found it a little dirty to brush my teeth in.
- Aileen (5/5): Passable - The staff is friendly and will guide you in English. The hotel is only a few steps away from the station. Wifi connection was good. For a low price, you can get a room by yourself. I booked the room for a one night stay. I checked in at 5pm but immediately went out to go somewhere else in Osaka and went back to the hotel at approximately 11pm. I was tired the whole day so I immediately went to bed and not even 5 mins in, I noticed a bed bug crawling in the wall. The floors seemed clean but not completely. The sheets were clean but it seems the clean futon was put atop of a dirty mattress. I was not able to sleep after finding this out. There are toilets on every floor and I was in the 2nd. The toilet stunk and you can smell everything in the hallway but the room itself didn't reak of the smell. The shower areas is only on the 1st floor so there's little privacy since there would be some who would be reheating their food in the common area while the shower is in the same area.
- Syarifah (8/5): Very good - The single room was very comfortable and clean. Quite spacious for solo traveller. The staff also very polite and explain everything clearly. He even can speak in Bahasa. The shower need to be pushed every few minute to get the water ejected
- Hoang (9/5): Superb -
- Oon (9/5): Great value-for-money stay at Osaka! - IMHO, this is perhaps the best value-for-money stay in Osaka. For the price of a bed at hostels usually, I get a little basic aircon room with a lockable door and window view here. The room is simple but clean. There is a washing area and 3 toilets (warm seat and bidet) on every floor. 3 Shower room on the ground floor. They also look new and clean. I didn't need to wait for long to shower even though it was supposed to be the "peak hour". The hotel is just a street from south of Shinsekai block, less than a 5min walk to Shin-Imamiya Station. There is a Don Quixote, 3 FamilyMart, and tonnes of eating places nearby. There is a sheltered street full of Izakaya behind the hotel too. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Osaka again. The stale and dusty smell in the room comes from the aircon coil, the filter can be easily fixed with a good vacuum cleaning. If this is fixed honestly I could not find any cons with Hotel Lucky at all!
- Xanavg (1/5): Don't stay here! Horrible host! - Close to the metro station. This stay was horrible. It was the most unfriendly and not flexible host I had so far.
Around 19:00 I was at the station and there was no place available on the train. I could only get on the train 1 hour later. I directly emailed the host, letting them know that there would be a delay and that I would arrive at 22:38. Hours later they replied, just telling me that I need to be there at 22:00 and otherwise I can't come in anymore.
I replied, asking for a solution, since I will arrive only 38 minutes after the stipulated check-in time.
The host simply ignored me, never replied, and let me out on the street.
In the middle of the night I had to find another accommodation...
The next morning at 10 am, I went to the hotel to get into my room. And they REFUSED that I would enter my room! They would not allow me to enter the room until 15:00! Because this is check-in time! Mind that I ALREADY PAID for last night, for this room. And they charge me and don't let me in! This is stealing my money!
- Han (7/5): Cheap and nice stay - This place is pretty cheap, good if you just need to find somewhere to just sleep overnight. It is really close to the station. The location of the hotel is at some dark and quiet street, but for me it is still ok. It is nice that we have our own tv, fridge, air-cond in each room. It is also nice that we can still leave and enter the hotel using the small side room in the late midnight. Overall the whole hotel and the room are pretty clean and well maintained. The available time for bath is too short, that I didn’t get the chance to use it, and I could only use the shower room which is 24hr available. There are only three shower rooms for the whole hotel, and it is in the first floor. And the shower room no.2 is the type where you push to get the water coming out for some short time, pretty inconvenient to do the shower. Also, the wall is pretty thin, so you can hear the sound from other rooms.
- Ha (8/5): Very good -
- Amjone (2/5): Very poor -
- Alphonse (7/5): Good - Located in the 'downtown' area of Osaka. The surrounding area may be a bit disturbing and uncomfortable for some due to what the area has become, however, remains quite safe at least from my perspective. Some nice dining areas and a bit of a walk to the station and the Dotonbori area. The room itself... can be said to be...extremely limited. The perks would be that one has the room to themselves. Bathing/washing areas are shared and the cleanliness of these place could be better...but decently maintained considering the size and number of staff running the place. Suitable for those just wanting a room to themselves at a budget price and doesn't mind the bareness of the property.
- Aydin (1/5): They don't show the check time when you make the payment. After the payment you realize that you can check in until - Cuatomer service
