• Brendan (9/5): Good-Value Hotel Convenient to Milano Centrale Station - I’ve stayed here a few times. This time, I was especially impressed with the service—of Jade and Alessio, in particular. I wrote in advance and they accommodated my request. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the neighborhood, but, at this point, I think Smart offers better value. The breakfast is good (though I think they should cut back on the sugary stuff and offer more healthful food—oats without added sugar+ nuts, seeds, etc.). The rooms I’ve had are big and new-ish and clean; the beds are comfortable; the bathrooms are also big; the TVs are new and offer an array of international news and radio. In sum, if you want a more affordable option that is convenient to Milano Centrale, that offers you above-average essentials and excellent service, this is a good hotel. (I’ve stayed in at least 3 other hotels in the neighborhood multiple times over the last 10 years. E.g., Glam’s rooms are roughly the same size but higher priced). It’s not a place you go for special ambiance. It’s functional. I’ve noticed, for example, numerous business travelers. I’ve consistently had a quiet night’s sleep at this hotel, but it’s always been contingent on the neighbors’ consideration. That, of course, is true anywhere. However, the doors don’t offer good noise insulation, so be mindful going in and out—not to talk loudly or slam the door.

Camera grande nonostante fosse una singola ! Posizione ottima vicina la metro e la stazione centrale. Pulizia non eccellente, diversi capelli appiccicati al muro del bagno, sicuramente negativo per un hotel 4 stelle. Posizione del bidet scomoda per poterlo utilizzare, il sanitario attaccato a muro.

В номере было чисто, ежедневная уборка, приятный персонал Входные двери надо закрывать с усилием и среди ночи эти сильные удары дверей (соседи уезжали/заезжали) постоянно нас будили…

• Ignacio jose (8/5): - Para mis intereses la ubicación es muy buena, ya que está muy cerca de la estación central y si llegas del aeropuerto en el autobús de línea (sólo cuesta 10 €) el hotel está a 5 minutos caminando. Desde la estación se pueden coger las diferentes líneas de metro para todos los desplazamientos. La línea M3 amarilla te deja en la misma puerta del Duomo y la M2 en la zona pintoresca de Navigli, el barrio de los canales de Milan. El precio muy elevado, se aprovechan de las ferias internacionales.

• Luci (8/5): Lovely, modern, clean hotel with great transport connections - I chose this hotel for its amazing proximity to Milan Central station (where I was both arriving and departing within 24 hours). It's very easy to get there (ie. no complicated directions). And despite the proximity to the station, it's very quiet and safe. I arrived early and was able to get my room early, which was a godsend given I had travelled 30 hours to get there!! My room had been upgraded (from a double to a triple I think). It was large, decorated with a modern aesthetic, beautifully new/modern bathroom, good storage, quiet, comfortable bed. I didn't use the facilities or have breakfast there but they are available. Staff were warm and friendly. The location is great if you have transport connections. But it is a metro ride to get to attractions (Duomo, historic centre, shops etc). That said, the metro is tap on/off and very easy to navigate. Nothing - this property was perfect for my needs.

• Mic (10/5): Great hotel - This was a return stay! Great hotel, close to the main train station, I stayed longer than to just transit and was still an excellent location to explore all of Milan, either on foot, or by Metro, trains and trams. Staff were so friendly and helpful, room had everything you'd expect, very confortable, roomy and quiet. Wont hesitate to stay again. Price competitive, a 4 star same price as nearby 3 star hotels.

After taking a shower I stepped out to a puddle of water. The doors from other rooms closed very loudly and I can hear it every time. Doors are very close together.
