Guest Reviews
- Laura (8/5): Ideal place to explore Tokyo! - Great place to stay! Neighbourhood is quiet but nice to come back to after a long day. So easy to walk/ train anywhere — Kuramae is close to walk to! We loved the cafe downstairs (one of the only ones in the area open early!) and found the room to be super comfortable. It’s a bit bigger than most other hotel rooms we stayed in on our trip. If you’re a light sleeper, you might hear the street noise at night but it’s not crazy busy and it didn’t bother us at all.

- Ellen (10/5): - Great location, really close to lively area and lots of transport links. The room is beautifully decorated with unique touches like a record player. Easy check in and communication with the staff.
- Sigrid (10/5): - Beautiful and spacious room in a great location! Was perfect for us.

- Mars (9/5): - The space is very thoughtfully curated and there was plenty of space for two people to sprawl out a bit. The shower was big enough to not feel cramped.
Very short walk to the ginza line, short walk to many restaurants and shops. The hotel is situated above a coffee shop that looks awesome, but unfortunately we didn’t get to try it because we were out before it opened every day. Hotel was very communicative via email and super helpful. Bringing luggage upstairs, but we knew what we were signing up for in that regard.
Also, the bed was a bit firm for my taste but my partner loved it.
- YING (9/5): - 空間很大 無

- Sarah (8/5): A good place for a short stay - A spacious room, with all we needed for a one night stop. Convenient for Asakusa sights and nearby shops for snacks and drinks.
We were able to leave our luggage after the stated check out time The stairs are quite steep for carrying heavy luggage but we managed.

- Ball (10/5): This spot was a beautiful nest in the heart of Tokyo, our favorite spot we stayed in on our trip! - Spacious, view, coffee shop (Lucent Coffee) below in the same building, proximity to multiple train lines, quiet, excellent shower!!! The folks running were very responsive and we are grateful for their flexibility. Wish there was an elevator for our big luggage. However it was only a short flight of stairs (we live in SF and are used to climbs)
- Verena (10/5): Exceptional - Great design, amazing shower and love to detail!
- Katherine (7/5): Would stay again - Loved the location, and the style of the room. Spacious clean shower, slippers that actually fit my larger feet. Coffee downstairs was fantastic. Quiet room, and one of the more spacious hotels we have stayed at in Japan I know this place is literally called no service hotel but it would have been nice if the staff responding to our messages were a little more helpful with our transportation enquiries instead of us feeling like we were a pain
- Sheue (7/5): Nice alternative to AirB&B if you have no luggage and do not mind climbing all the stairs. - Room facility is great. The modern onsen bath experience is fantastic. OMG - 4 stories of stairs to climb up and down with luggages!!
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - Loved that the room was spacious, well decorated, it had a hot shower and good heat for the cold nights. The building was easy to find and it was a short walking distance to Sensoji and lots of shopping and restaurants. Also close to a number of train stations for easy access to other areas. N/A
- Ck (7/5): Good - No elevator, dust everywhere, toilet unclean, bath towels too small.

- Chu (7/5): Good - The interior is well-designed and goes along with plenty of design magazines. Be aware there is no elevator. And the stairs are steep, so when you carry luggage, it's frustrating. And although the lighting was in warm colour, which is very good, yet most of them are set from the top, making the room lack of cosiness.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (9/5): Beautifully detailed, minimalist and stylish accommodation. - Beautiful roomy and stylish accommodation. Gorgeous details with items such as trendy books and minimal and mid century styled objects and lovely wood. Gorgeous office too.
- Armi (8/5): Very good - Nice design and style. Friendly and flexible service! I enjoyed the home like feel and firm bed. Windows let trough some noise from traffic. I recommend earplugs for light sleepers.
- Tamer (10/5): Exceptional - everything nothing
- Dominik (10/5): It was the best room I could choose! - The room was perfect. I loved its size, and the bathroom was lovely! I will definitely go back to that hotel. I highly recommend it.
Also the location was very near 3 metro stations that's a big plus!
- Si (8/5): Short and sweet. - Stayed on the 3rd floor. Tasteful and modern. Nice concept. Great for a short stay in Tokyo. Location itself is near the station. Most key shopping places are still 20-30 minutes away by subway, but if you prefer a quieter area with a bit of charm, you will like this. We had luggage, there was no lift and had to climb up to the third floor
- Emi (10/5): comfortable stay in good location - Very clean and spacious
- Sofya (9/5): sleek, convenient accommodation for a one-night stay - Pretty basic accommodations that fit our need for a one-night stay in Taito city. Hotel is easy to find, bed was quite comfortable and the room has a nice style. Host clearly communicated check-in instructions. Blocks from the bustling center of Asakusa - this was a great spot to start our sightseeing for the day from. Don't think this place would have suited us for more than one night due to its self-described "no service" -- we normally like a more communal lodging.
Also, the hotel is right on the main street, so there was some traffic noise.
- Ellie (3/5): Disappointing - I really wanted to like it - The aesthetics were great and the staff were responsive via messages, but sadly couldn’t do anything about our problems.
There is a great coffee shop downstairs. Unfortunately we left half way through our booking. The bed was so hard it hurt my back (Japanese beds are hard, but this was even worse than most). Considering it is on a busy street, the windows are very flimsy and let in a lot of cold air and a lot of noise even with earplugs. We messaged the staff to ask about whether there were blinds on the windows that we couldn’t see, as we couldn’t believe how thin the curtains were. The room was glowing at night time from the street lights outside. Unfortunately the room was not comfortable enough to sleep in, which is a shame because it looked nice.
