• Sanif (7/5): Comfortable stay close to City Centre - Location is excellent, right at Bugis Street area and close to city centre. The Duty Manager was excellent in looking after our needs. She moved us to a bigger suite when she found out that our room has water droplets from A/C condensation. Room is cleaned every day and toiletries stocked. Self-service laundry is about 5 minutes' walk, making a longer stay bearable. Room is relatively smaller as compared to other similar budget hotels, and layout makes it very cramped. No wardrobe, just clothes hanging space.

Bien que l'hôtel est à côté d'une mosquée, je n'ai pas été dérangée par l'appel à la prière. Je ne l'ai entendu qu'en fin de journée, ce qui n'a pas troublé mon sommeil pourtant très sensible. La fontaine à eau à l'acceuil très utile. Et qu'il y ait un personnel à l'acceuil h24 est aussi réconfortant particulièrement quand on doit faire un check-in tardif comme c'était mon cas. Lors de la réservation, il me semblait avoir réservé une chambre avec fenêtre. Ce n'est pas ce que j'ai eu et on m'a dit qu'il n'y avait aucune chambre avec fenêtre dans cet établissement. Heureusement que je ne suis pas claustrophobe. Mais j'aurais souhaité pouvoir aérer la chambre. Ce qui n'était pas possible sans ouvrir la porte de la chambre sur le couloir. Aussi, ma chambre ne correspondait pas aux photos de l'hotel. Moins lumineux (puisque sans fenêtre) et beaucoup plus petit.

Basic thing like drinking water availability was a challenge. They have one small cooler where the guests are supposed to fill in water. Every time I went, the cooler was out of water and it would take 10-15 mins for it to refill. I ended up buying water everyday. This is a small expectation, but really breaks the overall stay experience

• Septi Farista (8/5): An enjoyable stay at Nuve Hotel - The hotel is easy to find, the surroundings are quiet, and the staff are friendly and informative. It’s easy to find food nearby, and it’s close to a convenience store. The location is near masjid sulthan and not too far from Bugis market The room has no window and isn’t very spacious, but it’s sufficient for a comfortable stay. I and my parents have walk a bit to reach the mrt station or bus station, fortunately easy to get grab/gocar/taxi
• Dorothy Ramien (8/5): The hotel could have cleared up the debris and made the hallway clear. - The room was clean and neat but the hallway directly in front of my room door was cluttered with a vacuum cleaner, stacks of stools and boxes of debris. It was unsightly because I would see it upon entering or leaving my room. I twas unsightly and it was horrible clutters. I asked for a room change but they wanted an additional SIN$90.00 I refused. As it is Booking.com already charged my credit card an extra of $73.37CAD. The room advertised on Booking was listed at 291CAD, my visa was charged CAD364.37 - I am disputing this charge. So I endured and stayed in a room with the clutters in front of my front door, which was discusting. I will attach photos for your perusal. Removal of the debris in the hallway across my room door my Room was 114. It is irksome to see such clutters - the distance between the wall in the hallway and my front door would have been 4 ft. the Emerency Exit would have been about 4ft at the end of the hallway. My room was the second room from this Emergency Exist. I request that you refund the difference in the quoted price of CAD291 and price charged CAD364.37= 73.37CAD forthwith. Thankyou.
• Sahar (1/5): Shoebox sized room, without any window for fresh air. - The staff was very polite. There are literally no windows in the room. If u want a window pane, it is an extra $20/night. The bathroom is inside the shower. U have barely any room to put your things. U cannot sit down anywhere but the bed. The sink is by the counter, which is by the bed. Just all in all atrocious! Sadly!:(

And the room was like a Wow to me.. Got a nice bed and a nice room. Worth of money to get a place to stay for a night. The Tv need to be upgraded. Not a friendly type of tv as only a normal channel that u get to watch. At least if there is a screen cast it will be okay.

• Carolina (2/5): Nicht empfehlenswert - Es gab Ananaskekse an der Rezeption Hygiene, Preis/Leistung, Beschwerdemanagement Nach 24 Stunden Flug und zusätzlicher Wartezeit beim Check-in bekamen wir im Hotel NuVe in Singapur zunächst ein Zimmer, das winzig war und überhaupt nicht den Bildern entsprach. Als wir das reklamierten, wurden wir vom Personal abgewimmelt und man sagte uns zuerst, es gäbe kein anderes Zimmer. Erst nach mehrmaligem Diskutieren bekamen wir schließlich ein neues. Dieses war zwar minimal besser und sah ansatzweise wie auf den Fotos aus, aber der Zustand war weiterhin schockierend: schimmelige Wände, ein extrem verdreckter Teppichboden (Flecken, die wie Blut, Urin und Schmutz wirkten) und allgemein ein sehr unhygienischer Eindruck. Selbst das Waschbecken und die Handtücher waren nicht sauber (es waren dunkle Haare darauf). Beim Abziehen des Bettes am letzten Tag war die Matratze zudem voller Urinflecken. Für 3 Nächte und 450€ absolut enttäuschend. Das einzig Positive waren die gratis Ananaskekse.

It was very easy to find halal restaurants near the hotel. And they have bidet in the toilet Hahaha (It is something precious and important for me). I got my room always clean. Bed and pillow was so comfy. Air condition was working well. They provided free snacks and drinks can in the room. also they provided free refill purified water to drink for guests. the room was a little bit small, Better to chose a room with a small window. I thought it would be humid if the AC was turned off.

Auch zu Marina Bay kann man laufen ( 30min) Am Getränkespender kann man sich 24/7 kostenlos mit Wasser versorgen. Zimmer ist modern. Gute Klimaanlage. Zimmer ist klein, mit 2 großen Koffern muss man sich gut abstimmen, aber machbar.

• Irulan74 (4/5): The no-windows, poor lighting room would not be for everyone. It felt claustrophobic. - Location, staff, mini fridge, free wifi, rain shower and free mini bar on first day. Room lighting was too dim...masking the various scuff marks on walls. Only towels, toilet paper, tootbrush, tooth paste, shower caps, shampoo and body wash were provided. No cotton buds. Honestly, the room looked really dingy compared to website pictures. And I paid extra for an upgrade to Basic. The TV channels were not watchable (probably due to low signal). It made the TV pointless to have, TBH.

• Welmoed (7/5): - Midden in de wijk Kampong Glam! Kamer is handig ingedeeld. Net als in de vorige recensies, beetje gehorig & geen raam. Maar dat weet je in een stad als Singapore! Metro was ongeveer 10 minuten lopen, voelde lang aan door de stoplichten er tussen die lang op rood stonden.

• John (5/5): Disappointing. Below expectations. Price seemed way too high for type of accommodation but maybe because of Grand Prix - Location I was surprised how small the room was and no window. No hand towels only one bath towel. No chair only a plastic stool. The room was not what I was expecting.
