• CAMILLE (8/5): Très bon emplacement et bon rapport qualité / prix - Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Nous avions une chambre double avec lits séparés, petite mais bien organisée avec un lavabo ainsi qu’un frigo. Le personnel a été très accueillant et très arrangeant du début à la fin de notre séjour. Les parties communes (toilettes et douches) étaient dans l’ensemble propres, peu importe l’heure de la journée. Le logement est situé à 1km du centre donc parfait pour se déplacer. Les cloisons sont assez fines donc on entend facilement ce qu’il se passe dans la chambre d’à côté.

• Alicja (4/5): Voldoende voor overnachting - Bed was wel comfortabel, verwarming werkte goed, receptie was vriendelijk. Locatie is geweldig. Gedeelde douches en wcs, heel kleine kamer. Voor die prijs moet je wel stukken beter aanbieden.

• Anke (2/5): Einzig positive: stadtnah. Alles andere muss man sich schönreden. - Netter Hotelbesitzer, der auch gleichzeitig die Reinigung der Zimmer übernimmt. Vor der Tür eine halbe Stunde gewartet, bis der Vermieter geöffnet hat. Stadtnah. Kein Frühstücksangebot. Keine Parkplätze, lediglich Patkhus in der Nähe für 30€ täglich. Haus/Zimmer marode und stark sanierungsbedürftig. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, schmale und steile Treppen. Bei den Gesprächen unserer Zimmernachbarn hätte ich mitdiskutieren können in normaler Zimmerlautstärke. Habe über 100€ pro Nacht gezahlt, 50€ wären auch schon gutes Geld gewesen… meine Tochter wollte sofort wieder nach Hause fahren, nachdem sie das Zimmer gesehen hat. Toiletten und Dusche sind gut fotografiert, für stabilere Menschen ist es zu eng.

The location is excellent—within walking distance of Amsterdam Central, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and attractions around the city. The receptionist was very helpful and made the stay even smoother with their support and friendliness. Overall, a great value stay in a very convenient location, especially for solo travelers.
• TRAN (3/5): Cest bien on est au centre mais c’est pas un hôtel qu’on reviendra et qu’on conseillera - Le lit été confortable Le fait que les douche et les toilettes sont commun et aussi les draps sont pas très propre il y avait beaucoup de marque ou de cheveux de poussière aussi le mur était aussi fin qu’on entendait tout dehors et à l’intérieur
• Charlotte (3/5): Sommeil léger et séjour écourté - Géographie conforme, chambre proche du centre. Les douches et toilettes communs étaient propres. Chambre non conforme à la description. Chambre indiquée pour 2 sur le plan d'évacuation alors que nous avions 3 lits. Sur l'annonce il était indiqué un lit double et un lit simple, nous avons eu un lit superposé sans échelle ni protection et un lit simple. La fenêtre donnait directement sur le mur. La nuit un bruit strident et constant nous empêchait de dormir. Étant collés à la réception nous entendions le réceptionniste parler très fort au téléphone. Nous avons retrouvé une araigné ainsi que sa toile dans la chambre. Chambre plus petite prévu

• Akram (7/5): I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Schroder. - If you need a cheap hotel in a prime location this is an excellent option, particularly if you're travelling alone. All I needed was the basics and this was the cheapest hotel near the Haarlemerstraat area. Bed was comfy, heating was adjustable and I had my privacy for all 4 nights. Shared bathroom but that's understadable for the cost. Hotel owner was friendly and helpful. Thin walls, you can hear your neighbours clearly. Some damp on the wall behind the bed. No smoking area.
• Matias (10/5): 3 Noches. - La ubicacion es lo mejor muy cerca de la estacion Central, te permite facil acceso caminado a todos los punto, precio / calidad muy bien, es algo común lo de las escaleras empinadas y angostas(en mi caso no afectó) estan en la mayoría de los alojamientos, el baño compartido no fue un problema siempre limpio y disponible.

• Darren (7/5): Genuinely modest and satisfying place to stay - Pleasant and welcoming reception. Very helpful and friendly host. Very clean man and noticed that he kept the bathroom and communal areas clean and tidy. No tea or coffee making facilities

• Elizabeth (7/5): - Basic but comfortable room with hairdryer, sink eith hot water, quite a big double bed. For the price it is good value in the Centre near to Centraal Station. A good place to sleep in and spend your time in Amsterdam. Located in a very interesting street. Very helpful and welcoming, I asked for a kettle and mug for my room and was offered the mug as a souvenir. The shower is very basic with the toilet in the same space, so the whole floor gets wet. But there is a stool so with some gymnastics it is possible to leave with dry feet! Lots of very steep stairs into the hotel not good if you have mobility problems and can't carry your case.

• Michelle (1/5): Disgusting - Localization Everything, nothing was clean. Dirty sheets, dirty towels. Bathroom completely disgusting. You can hear everything in the bedroom beside you. Is much better to pay a little bit more and have normal cleaning things.

The prize should be 0 euro/ night for this standard. They should close down actuality. It's not humain. Everything. The room has no air Plastic bed No ventilation

The building needs to be renovated as it looks as if a renovation was done there 50 years ago. The floor was dirty once we arrived and the bedding was a lot of hair.
