• Arthur (10/5): Het was een heerlijk verblijf 🇹🇭 - Een klein maar fijn hotel op een goed gelegen locatie! Bedden sliepen goed en alles was schoon. Momenteel wordt er gewerkt aan het Subway systeem waardoor er een grote bouwplaats is voor de deur. Het is hierdoor erg druk waardoor taxi’s lastiger bij het hotel kunnen komen en je lang in de file kan staan. Maar natuurlijk is dit weer over als de Subway gereed is!

I was unlucky enough to come where there is a big construction site right infront of the hotel and found it extremely hard to sleep as the sounds were too loud

• Julienne (10/5): - We love the location because it's just across the ARL Ratchaprarop Station. The bed is comfortable. The aesthetic is serene and minimalist. There's a pungent odor coming from the floor drain of the bathroom that could be resolved by a reed diffuser or any deodorizer.

• Hooi Theng (10/5): A great stay. - The design of the room, cleanliness of the property and strategic location. The hotel provided simple breakfast and light bites until 2PM. The wall between rooms are very thin, could hear noises on some occasions if the guests are speaking too loud.

• Ioana (7/5): - Convenient location for a short stay, spacious rooms Breakfast would have been nice. They do offer coffee and some snacks, but it looked the milk was left for a few days to spoil in the coffee machine

• Ada (10/5): - I love this hotel! We got a standard doublebed room. The room is small and cozy, good sounproof, there are constructions out there but i hardly hear them. They also have a small pantry with free coffee, snacks, and toasts with jam and butter. There is 7-11 right beside the hotel. And it is about 10 minutes walk away from the great Pratunam Night Market! The hotel is also just across the road from the airport railway link Ratchaprarop station. Overall a great place! Will definitely book this accom again in the future. The only improvement is there can be more hooks in the toilet. And currently there is a major construction right outside the hotel, making ride hailing services reluctant to come over, or they get confused how to get to the pickup point.

Unfortunately the hotel is next to a huge road or roundabout renovation or …with many cranes and noises quite whole day sometimes late up to 9 or 10 pm…and there is no wardrobe to put our clothes in but hanging them…don’t know where neither to hang…no chairs or desk…and location in popular area without lot of interesting things to do in the evening…

• Rene (9/5): Prima hotel op loopafstand van de raillink naar de international luchthaven van Bangkok - Modern hotel op een prima locatie als je van en of naar de international luchthaven Survarnabhumi reist. Hotel op 3 loop minuten van de airport raillink. Goede kamer en badkamer. Uitstekende wifi. Hotel heeft geen ontbijt maar tot 14.00 uur zijn er koffie snacks, brood en jam voor de gasten.

• Gerrit (8/5): Solides Hotel für einen Bangkok Städtetrip! - Die Unterkunft ist durchaus solide für Besucher in Bangkok, die einen günstigen Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage suchen. Das Hotel befindet sich unmittelbar ab der Ratchaprarop Station des Airport-Rail-Links und somit ist alles über die ARL bzw. Metro zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft sieht auf den Bildern doch etwas spektakulärer aus, als sie es in Wirklichkeit ist, ist jedoch für den Preis auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung, wenn man kein Hotel sucht, in dem man sich den Großteil des Tages aufhält (meines Wissens nach keine turistischen Angebote).

• Rae (6/5): Decent location. Good pick if you won't be spending alot of time in the hotel. - Bed was comfortable, and the size of the room was sufficient for a couple. The air purifier in the room had an unpleasant smell which stayed even when we tried to use our own scent in the room. The room didn't feel very well maintained too - the floors were cracked. The room walls were thin, and our neighbours were slamming the door repeatedly and talking loudly outside.

• VT (9/5): Nice hotel - Aesthetically designed. Small room but suffice. Stayed 6 nights, no complains. It's situated away from the bustling pratunam yet it is walking distance. Check in and out was smooth. The staff were polite. Just next to a 7-11 which is very convenient.

Modern room No storage for cloths no rails for towels with no daily change over.the safe was locked, and the de humidifier was full of water ? encourages you not to put paper down the toilet but this hotel does not empty the bin it until you leave(unless you ask)When we went down for coffee, the pot was empty and the urn did not have water in it. There was no coffee sachets and the boy was playing on his phone.

• Cyrian (4/5): TLDR; be ready to sacrifice on sleep quality and hygiene standards by coming here, like we had to. - There were a few upsides to our stay though. First, the 24h reception was great for us, the bed was comfortable, and the aircon worked well. Having arrived at the Bonsai Hotel Bangkok after many hours of travel and having just recovered from food poisoning this is what we were greeted with: as we approached the hotel at 1am, there were heavy construction works right outside the doorstep, with machinery whirring and banging every second. As we entered our room, the first thing we noticed upon leaning back on the bed were hairs on the sheets from the previous people. When we went to the bathroom, it stank of sewage and upon opening the toilet lid I saw leftover poo was floating with some other white substance. This smell then permeated to the room during the night. Unfortunately we were too tired to ask for a room swap so we toughened up and tried having a good night’s sleep. Emphasis on “tried”. The construction work went on throughout the entire night and while the windows did their best to block out the sound, they were ultimately inadequate faced with the roar of heavy machinery (not to mention the light coming from the floodlights). To add insult to injury, the sound isolation between the room and the hallway was abhorrent, and we could hear every step taken outside and every door closed. I should note that I am used to wearing high quality earplugs during my sleep and even those did not suffice to dampen the noise enough for me to sleep soundly.

The room was clean, but it felt quite stuffy. We tried turning on the AC several times to freshen it up, but the smell remained.

• Hollie (8/5): Lovely hotel but shame about construction work outside - The design of the hotel is really nice and modern. Staff were friendly and the room is so clean. There is work being done right outside the hotel which restricts access to the hotel through a dirty pathway with muddy puddles (I note this has been going on for several months however does not look near done). It’s difficult to get to with your luggage etc. The workers start early in the morning so you definitely need ear plugs. Apart from this the stay is great.
• Syriphonepaseuth (10/5): Our stay was excellent during our trip to Thailand. We stayed twice in the standard and deluxe rooms. We enjoyed our clo - Space was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the amenities provided were good. Construction outside but not the fault of the property.

• Angus (10/5): - Front desk was helpful, I got free upgraded the 2nd day, due to some air circulation issue in first day's room. There is a huge construction on going beside the hotel, along the whole Pratunam, I believe is something related to underground tunnel, hence do expect dust and some construction noise.

• Foo (3/5): - We thought that the hotel design is nice and clean but wasn’t expecting this room is in so small size. Looks much more smaller than the website photo. The room in standard is actually quite small than we think, no space for opening the luggage, we have to close it every time after opening the luggage. The hotel location isn’t in a strategic location, is hard to stop car by hotel road side, and is a construction zone right in front the hotel!!! Is so noisy and loud even in the day to night, can’t even sleep well!!! Also, the water heater doesn’t has hot water for showering, after we complained several times we only get to change room.
