• Aksana (7/5): - Выбирала отель по расположению. Ожидания совпали с реальностью. Номер большой, светлый. Вид из окна на миллион. Завтрак стандартный. Начинался в 7-00, что очень кстати пришлось в день отъезда. Уборка в номере проводилась каждый день. Персонал внимательный и дружелюбный.

• Elis Seval (9/5): Başarılı fakat kat hizmetlerine daha fazla empati eğitimi..!! - Efsane bir manzaraya uyandık ve gerçekten harikaydı. Hem merkezi, hem de haydarpaşa karşımızda. Kahvaltı gayet yeterliydi. Resepsiyonda çalışan Berat Bey hem girişte hemde çıkışta çok yardımcı oldu saolsun. Kapıda rahatsız etmeyin kartı takmıştık sabah rahatsız edilmemek için. Kapımız çalmadı fakat saolsun temizlik yapan arkadaşlar öyle bir bağırıyor ki sabahın 8'inde uyandık. Tüm otellerin ortak problemi kat hizmetleri. Muhtemelen daha fazla eğitim verilmesi gerekiyor. Telefonları öyle bir çalıyor ki sanki savaş çıktı, harp çıktı. Kat hizmetlerine daha fazla eğitim lütfen, oteldeki tek olumsuz yaşadığım buydu, keşke yaşanmasaydı. Sonuçta uyumaya, dinlenmeye geliyoruz. Sabahın 8inde temizlik yapıyorlar diye onlarla birlikte kalkmak zorunda olmamamız lazım..!! Biraz empati...

• Hend (9/5): My seventh stay at Rihtim Hotel—always a favorite with its perfect location and warm, friendly staff - This is my seventh time staying at Rihtim Hotel — and it continues to be my absolute favorite in Istanbul! The location is unbeatable, right by the water and just a short walk from all the vibrant spots in Kadikoy. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making every stay feel like coming home. Nothing!

• Matthew (5/5): If you book a non-smoking room here and when you enter the room you smell anything, refuse the room. - The location is very good if you want to experience the bustle and nightlife away from the tourist vibe. You can easily walk to Moda as well, which is a great neighbourhood. I had a view of the sea which was nice, though overlooks a quite motor-and bus-heavy area that is a bit noisy and ugly to mar the sunset views. The value of this place is OK, though beware the things in the Don't Like section. My booking clearly specified a non-smoking room and the room clearly was for smokers. The smell was obvious, made worse by the carpeting on the wall which surely soaked in the odor. At first I thought it was just an old hotel that used to allow smoking so I ventilated the room, but discovered after a day that the smell would just come back, and it was too cold-- and the heater in the room too weak and the street too noisy-- to ventilate the room constantly. Later I saw that an ashtray had been hidden underneath one of the tables. Also, the bathroom had essentially no ventilation. I asked to get some flow through the large vent there but it was completely still even when it was windy outside. So on top of the cigarettes, the toilet tended to smell and stay humid for more than 12 hours after use. I complained directly to the hotel and they eventually offered to move me to a new room, but I did not do it. For one, I did not trust that the new room would smell better, have better ventilation, or feel less dingy. Even if the room were better, I also did not want to add another pack/unpack cycle to a vacation with a lot of that already, so I left to go to my next hotel early-- the fact I double-paid for two rooms across two nights should illustrate just how irked I was. Adding to my disappointment, I complained directly to Booking and got no non-automated response. I proposed a deal in which I would leave the room with 2 days notice, getting refunded for the remaining 3 days. This seemed fair, as when I initially booked the hotel, I was allowed to cancel the whole booking 2 days in advance-- so it seemed fair to cancel the END days with the same advance notice. But Booking was utterly unhelpful and the hotel said that it was out of their hands to cancel and refund; only Booking could. I did not know if that was true. I've never written this bad a review before and I really did not want to.

It’s very clean and the staff is very helpful. The cafetaria and some rooms have an amazing view of the waterfront. The Price has gone up dramatically compared to one year ago.

• Niklas (8/5): Magnificent view of the harbour - I choose a room overlooking the harbour of Kadıköy. I could definitely hear noise from the street and buss station, but I am not bothered by such things and the view from the hotel room alone was enough to make it an excellent stay. Breakfast was served at the very nice top floor of the hotel. This also offers a magnificent view of the busy harbour. The rooms are perhaps a little bit worn, but everything was clean and I had no complaints. The neighborhood is very nice and full of life.
• Narelle (7/5): Lovely hotel, will suit heavy sleepers - The staff were great, friendly, accommodating, helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was close to many places to eat and to the ferries to go across to Europe side of Istanbul. Noisy. You can always hear cars, buses, people from the busy road at all hours so light sleepers like me might struggle. Plus the prayers can be heard from the local mosque clearly at each broadcast (incl 5am).

• Neveen (9/5): An excellent location hotel that needs renovation - The location is near to everything. Ferry, buses, metro. The personel were helpful and co-operating. Some knew Arabic. Some knew English. Specially those working in the restaurant at breakfast. Mahmoud and the others. Breakfast was more than satisfactory for the quality and taste.located at the roof with a wonderful panoramic view of the bosphore. Room cleaning was done everyday. The room was large with a sea view. I recommend to stay at this hotel. Once we arrived, Swat the person who works at the reception told us that he took the price of the first night from our visa card before our arrival. Although,it is written on booking.com. that pay at the property. In addition, we have already send him a confirmation letter that we will come on the date. That was about a week before our arrival and before any penlity that can be taken. And told him the exact time of our plane and our arrival time. And he responded to our confirmation letter. He explained that it is the new policy of the hotel or booking. I do not know. It was unexpected and unbelievable. The second item is the bathroom, it needs renovation. The third item was the room isolation which was not satisfactory. We heard the voices of our neighbors and cigarette smoking from outside either from neighbors or corridors. That's all. But, we liked the hotel very much and loved our stay. Next time we will be there.
