• David (7/5): Nice comfy place, more appropriate for younger people - -Margot is helpful & super nice -Queen bed comfortable, large pillows -Centrally located near the museum qtr, Leidesplein, restaurants -no lobby staff after but 4p, but simple system to get your key from a box -I didn’t have time to try the breakfast but it looked good, she cooks to order. -for seniors, know that it’s a walk up, skinny stairs to drag your heavy suitcase up -the shower is encased and small for a large person - shower head is directly above, no wand -it was clean, but the walls were scuffed & dirty and could use a coat of paint

• Hutkovska (6/5): Velmi malý pokoj za obrovské peníze. Je slyšet hluk z ulice. Snídaně velmi chudá, nic extra. -
• Davide (8/5): Soddisfatto di tutto - La struttura e la camera sono ben organizzate, pulite ed accoglienti. Al mattino si ha la colazione inclusa dalle 8 alle 11 molto buona e completa di tutto. Le receptionist sono gentili e sempre disponibili. Sì ha il WiFi della struttura gratuito che va una bomba. La posizione è poco distante dalla piazza centrale di Amsterdam. 15/20 minuti a piedi e se si usa il tram ci si mette molto meno tempo. E comunque con la fermata del tram a 50 metri si và dappertutto. Consigliatissimo come hotel su tutti i punti di vista. Ho trovato la camera molto pulita e ben organizzata. Le uniche cose che ho trovato da storcere il naso sono 2. Tra i rotoli di carta igienica ho trovato dei capelli lunghi. Magari è solo una piccola dimenticanza durante le pulizie. La porta della doccia invece non si riusciva mai a chiudere del tutto e quindi quando ci si doveva lavare l'acqua fuoriusciva e finiva sul pavimento della camera e sotto il letto. Piccole accortezze per rendere veramente un ottimo hotel completamente perfetto.

• Simon (7/5): Old, basic, friendly, way past the sell-by date - Obviously location. Its an old gay hotel but all the gays are clearly moving on! The 'cost to comforts' ratio is really not working any longer. The rooms and facilities are superficially clean but the infrastructure of the rooms and bathrooms are decades past their time! Its not kitsch - it's dated. The prices have drifted north with the city trends but investment is close to zero. Imagination is closer to zero sadly. They kindly shifted me from 4 nights to 3 however. The noise from the yoof outside through the weekend in early morning (3-5am) and nights is utterly disgusting and unfathomably bad when guests are trying to sleep 5 meters away. Simply untenable. Disastrous impact on my holiday mood when there's no sleep!

O café da manhã delicioso e a localização do hotel é excelente. Tivemos um checkin e checkout muito práticos. O colchão é macio demais. Como ficamos em um quarto que tinha janelas viradas para a rua, os comércios do lado oposto da rua faziam MUITO barulho. A Tv do quarto não estava conectada à internet e não conseguimos usá-la no modo smart.

Skjev hylle på badet Toalettholder var skjev og ikke mulig å ha dorull på den. Dobbeltdyne er for spesielt interesserte, men vi fikk en ekstra når vi spurte. Dette gjalt rom nr 3.
• Yirong (10/5): Generally speaking, we liked the hotel for its great location. - It is conveniently located in downtown Amsterdam and is close to tram stations. It is also within walking distance to museums. The rooms were small but comfortable. It has no lift, so it makes taking the luggage to the top floor inconvenient.

A cushion on the wire desk chair would have been nice (ouch!) One of the bedside lamps was kind of hanging by/affixed with black (duct? electrical?) tape which (a) raised a question in my mind about the safety of using it and (b) just wasn't cool given the price of the room.

Подсказывали интересные локации. В лобби большой стол и кофейный аппарат с бесплатным кофе и чаем круглосуточно. в нашем номере была сломана дверь в туалет, в другом номере нашей подруги (одноместный) вообще не было перегородки между туалетом и кроватью. Все в одном помещении кровать, душевая кабина, унитаз., раковина. Цена за номер не низкая, думаю поставить перегородку и отремонтировать дверь не составляет большого труда.

It was only a short few steps away from Spijkerbar and Club Church which were a good time. We’d stay here again! We don’t have any complaints.

Jejich vstřícnost, ochota a osobně připravované snídaně bohatě vyvážily menší nedostatky ve vybavení pokoje. Vyzdvihnout musím i velmi pohodlnou postel. Pokud vám nevadí ruch ulice, je to ideální místo pro pobyt. Okno by mohlo lépe těsnit, aby více tlumilo hluk z ulic. V tradičním nizozemském měšťanském je potřeba počítat s absencí výtahu a strmým schodištěm.

Walking distance to main attractions, cafes and restaurants and easily reachable by tram from Central Station or Airport. Impeccable, there's nothing I did not like.

• Adam (4/5): It was a great location, but definitely not worth the amount I paid. - The location was great. I really enjoyed the concept of the hotel. The smell of the room was atrocious. There was either mouse droppings or human fecal matter in the shower. The fee for the room was nowhere near justified for the lack of cleanliness.

Since I came only with WiFi, it would be useful if when staff let me know codes for arrival in the night, that I’d have the WiFi code already outside in case I have a problem.

L'unica piccola pecca e che se si ha la stanza in piani più bassi a volte si sentono un po' di rumori provenienti dalla strada e tram ma non troppo eccessivi. Piccola pecca ma sorvolabile dato i vantaggi che offre.

Il bagno troppo piccolo con doccia a lavandino praticamente nella stanza, senza essere separata dalla camera da letto. Cosa importantissima NON CHIAMARE IL TAXI CHE STA ESPOSTO DI FIANCO LA MACCHINA DEL CAFFÈ PERCHÉ NON È PUNTUALE E FA PERDERE GLI AEREI. Spero che lo levino il prima possibile per non recare altri danni agli ospiti.

• Omar (10/5): A legend not to be missed - Legendary hospitality at Amistad, my hotel of choice in Amsterdam for more than 25 years. Quiet yet centrally located, walking distance to all relevant points in town, impeccable management and renovated comfort in a historical house. Not to be missed

• Ben (6/5): Overall a good experience - The breakfast was ok, although there were only eggs available to cook (no sausages etc) so ended up having toast the last two days. The staff were really helpful providing travel adapters for the rooms and made it very easy to check in on the Tuesday evening I arrived. I found the bed uncomfortable, probably would look for a double bed room next time!

Mi habitación sin toallas, las tuve que pedir dos veces. Cuando llegué a la habitación quedaban botellas en la ducha vacías del cliente anterior. La puerta de la ducha no cerraba y, además, filtraba el agua e inundaba la habitación. Mal olor proveniente del lavabo de manos. Escaleras estrechas y de escalones altos. Las habitaciones no están insonorizadas y se escucha todo.

• Andrada (7/5): - Staff and location were great. The room was warm. The windows were not sound proofed at all and since it is a central location it can get very loud at night. If you have trouble sleeping it can be tricky to rest. The mattress on the bed was soft, it felt a bit like you were sinking in.

Breakfast was enough to start the day. The room was clean and not very small (loved watching the Dutch tv channels :) ) location was 10/10 for us, not loud and not far from any special spots needed.
