• Christiane (8/5): Close to everything - The location is excellent, right in the center on the lake, a stone’s throw from the puppet theatre and every thing in walking distance. Aircon was great and room small but functional. Staff very helpful with mostly good English language skills. We didn’t dislike it , but It would have been good to know that practically all rooms have windows to light wells only, absolutely no view and some with hardly any daylight. Since we spent our time mostly out, or resting between outings it didn’t matter.

Level 6 has a nice outdoor area to hangout. Staff is extremely helpful. Hotel is small but clean and tidy. No breakfast options, but again lot of places nearby to eat.

• Josef (10/5): Beste Lage in der Altstadt, sehr gemütlich! - Ich habe Mitte März 2026 vier Nächte im „DE LA SOIE Hotel & Travel“ gewohnt und ich habe mit dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das nicht sehr große, aber schön eingerichtete Zimmer 301 ist sehr gemütlich, es ist gut ausgestattet (Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, gutes WLAN…) und es hat einen Balkon. Von diesem aus kann man das pulsierende Leben im Zentrum von Hanoi beobachten und man hat auch einen Blick auf den Ngoc Son Tempel auf der Insel im Hoan Kiem See. Alle Mitarbeiter arbeiten sehr professionell, sprechen gut Englisch und sind sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Sehr zu empfehlen! Alles sehr gut!

Auch die Dusche ist nichts für kräftigere Leute. Der originale, nicht reduzierte Booking-Preis von 10 Mio VND pro Nacht ist ein Fantasie-Preis.

Менеджер и работники стойки очень замечательные и вежливые! Он расположен прямо напротив станции туристических двухэтажных автобусов, рядом все основные кофейни и рестораны, обменники на соседней улице. Так же тут можно заказать экскурсии. Может быть немного шумно пару часов вечером до 20-21 часов максимум, не критично для меня

• Randulf Araw (10/5): One of my greatest experience in Vietnam is to have stayed in a lovely hotel. - I love the hotel. I will rebook my hotel there if ever I visit Hanoi again. First, the staff is the friendliest. They speak English and very helpful. They suggest where to eat, where to go, and they are very happy to help to confirm the location of my grab booking. The hotel feels like it is in the center of Hanoi. It is just across lake and a few minite walk to the Opera house where most of tours' meeting place. The hotel is also near the old quarters where you can eat the cheapest delicious food in South East Asia. It is just beside the shopping district and market place. Stepping outside the hotel, you know it will be a great day. Also, the hotel suggested my family to book a service van when we went to the airport. It exceeded my expectation. I really really recommend this hotel. NOTHING. I love that hotel. I really pray that hotel will flourish.
• Kaare (10/5): - This is the best Hotel in Hanoi❣️ If you want to be in the most central and exciting place in Hanoi, right next to the Lake, the square with an abundance of activity and probably the busiest road intersection in Hanoi - and still feel at home and in peace - this is definitely the place for you. Get one of the two rooms with a balcony overview of the whole spectacle if you can, it’s worth it! If you’re staying in the weekend, you’ll even see the transformation of the streets from the scooter circus into the night market, a festival of sight, sound and taste. The view from the rooftop terrace overlooking the whole lake and square is the best you can get. And then off course there’s Tracy, the top professional friendly hotel manager and her competent staff who effectively and with a smile and good English will assist you promptly and flexibly. So again, do you want a cosy, clean, well run and somewhat peaceful Gem of a Hotel in the Eye of the Hanoi Hurricane, this has to be your choice. It will certainly be mine next time in Hanoi.

One of the electrical plugs in the room was not working. Hotel electrician has to come twice to fix it. The bathroom sink has slow drain problems several occasions required hotel staff to fix it.

• Fred (8/5): Fijne buurt, klein hotel met veel persoonlijke aandacht van het personeel. - De locatie is bij een centraal plein bij het stads-meertje. Naar het gedeelte met luxere winkels was ongeveer 1 km lopen. Het hotel had een terras op mijn etage, en daarboven een nog uitgebreider terras, beide met goed uitzicht. Goede badkamer. De kamer besloeg de gehele breedte van het hotel, maar was toch niet echt groot. Het hotel was namelijk gevestigd in in een van de vele heel smalle pandjes die Hanoi rijk is. De kast voor mijn kleding was goed voorzien, maar een haakje bij de kamerdeur om je jas op te hangen was er niet; die moest ik echt steeds in de kledingkast ophangen.

They went above and beyond to assist in any queries/ suggestions on places to visit. It is in a great location in the centre. The rooftop view was a lovely addition on the top floor. I had ear plugs so would be noisy given its location. We knew the room would be small from description however it felt cramped with a table and chairs in it that we didn’t use or need. Could organise the space better.

Одновременно можно любоваться видами старого квартала Ханоя и Озера меча, а по пятницам, субботам и воскресеньям именно отсюда начинается ночной рынок. В данном случае я имею в виду номера с балконом. Для остальных виды тоже доступны, потому что на 6-м этаже располагается открытая терасса со столиками и стульями, где можно любоваться закатами и восходами. Персонал выше всяких похвал. С очаровательной улыбкой помогут буквально во всём: начиная с обмена валюты (сгоняют в ближайший пункт с лучшим курсом), до разогрева еды, если вдруг вы решили перекусить в номере. Wi-Fi вполне удовлетворяет потребности в общении и играх. Смарт телевидение с YouTube, Netflix (кому интересно). Кровати и подушки удобные. Тапочки, халаты, туалетные принадлежности, сейф, мини-бар, чайник, чай, кофе, две бутылки воды ежедневно. Заказ такси из и в аэропорт по вменяемым ценам. Любые экскурсии на английском языке. Слева от отеля на набережной остановка туристического Ханой баса, который отвезёт по всем главным достопримечательностям. Есть аудиогид на русском языке. Велорикшу для неспешной прогулки по старому кварталу позовут прямо ко входу. В радиусе пятидесяти метров от отеля есть маркет по типу 7/11, KFC, Domino's пицца, прямо возле входа - фрукты, шашлычки и колбаски. Шум имеет место быть, но он не мешает, а придаёт неповторимый азиатский колорит. В общем, не просто рекомендую, а настоятельно! Номера реально маленькие, а в душевой кабине нет полочки для принадлежностей: гель и шампунь стоят на столешнице умывальника.
