• Jacqs (7/5): - The hotel's location was perfect for us to explore the city and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The shower was a little worn and therefore was just more than a trickle. I would have expected the hotel to have replaced the nozzle at the least.

• Manuel (2/5): Una experiencia horrible - Siento mucho decir esto por la gente que trabaja en este hotel, que fueron muy amables, pero tengo que decir claramente que todavía estoy impactado por las condiciones insalubres de la habitación y el baño. Y eso que estábamos en la habitación Executive... no me puedo creer que se pueda ofrecer una habitación en esas condiciones. Mi recomendación clara: no reserves en este hotel, en mi opinión no está en condiciones de estar abierto al público No se puede tener un baño en esas condiciones insalubres. Y la moqueta... en fin...

• Edith (10/5): Beautiful place - The property was great so much history. Brings you back in time. Is walking distance to the Holy Stairs. Taxi is in front of the hotel. Santa Maria Maggiore church is across the street. Many places to eat around. The breakfast was great and the people who works there are great. I just had a non great experience with the person who checked us in, since we travel from the USA he was bushing our President and saying bad things about the USA. He is from Cuba. Instead of telling the story of the building he forgot to tell me that there is a chapel inside the hotel. Is sad because I saved this location last year on my favorites because of that. I was not sure if that was the place when I checked out that is when I found out the guy who checked me out told me. He said what the person who checked you in didn’t tell you. I said no he didn’t. I did t tell this guy that the Oder guy was too busy bushing my President and my country. They need to leave us alone we come to spend money. That even though the parking lot is free. There is not too much light and is shared with the restaurant that give free lunch to the needy, those people sorry to say but they are dirty even though the garbage cans are near they leave garbage in the floor. I would not recommend anyone going alone to park or remove the car at night time.

• Letizia e Sonia (8/5): Tutto bene - Ottima posizione, di lato alla meravigliosa Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore e a pochi minuti a piedi dal Teatro Brancaccio. Nella tariffa della camera è compresa anche la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto, cosa assai rara a Roma. La colazione è essenziale, ma a noi va benissimo così. Staff cordiale e gentile. Il bagno piuttosto vecchio, da rinnovare sanitari rubinetteria e illuminazione. La moquette.

Il senso di abbandono della struttura, la camera molto piccola, la pulizia e la colazione scarsissima, la peggiore che io abbia visto.

Na pokoji byla téměř nefunkční lednička, špinavé hrníčky u varné konvice. Žádné lžičky na přípravu nápoje. Snídaně byla velmi slabá. Žádná vajíčka, žádné sýry, malý výběr pečiva a ovoce. V koupelně se dokonce objevil šváb.

• Bijan (1/5): A four-star DUMP - The courtesy of the reception staff, especially Pereira. Everything else. This is a glorified dump. No idea how it can hold four stars. I paid at check-in then was shown rooms. Two had very noisy A/C blowing right on the bed. The third one the A/C was not working and a fan was in the room. I asked for a refund so I could find another location. This was refused as I had already paid. Finally I was show a fourth room that was barely acceptable, only to find later that one of the shower doors was missing. So for my entire stay I had to put a towel on the floor to catch water. Also, most of their rooms have safes, but the safes are not attached to anything, could pickup and walk away...at breakfast the pastries felt a day old. And not to miss, the huge stains on the carpets in the rooms, and the bathroom fan that was as loud as a jet engine. The bathroom fan was measured at 51.3 db (SPL) with a peak of 76.8. The room AC at 40.8 db (SPL) with higher peak. Stay away from this place.

Normalnie nie jest zle parking bezpieczny tylko trzeba sie przejść parę kroków za hotel. Nie ma dojścia bezpośrednio z parkingu do hotelu. Także trzeba walizki ciągnąć po chodniku. W hotelu jest dziwny zapach. Napewno to nie 4 gwiazdki. Nie dostaliśmy tego pokoju co przedstawiał nam booking na zdjęciach. I był to mniejszy pokoj niż oferowany. Ale juz nie chciało nam sie o to zabiegać.

• Basson (8/5): Excellent location, huge rooms, I will probably return to this hotel. - The guy at the reception (I forgot his name) gave us excellent service, explaining the walking route, storing belongings and making us feel safe. He deserves all the credit. The ability to park the car in the back parking lot is a big advantage. Disappointing breakfast, not much choice. Air conditioner not very strong A bit expensive for a stay of less than 24 hours

• Beverly (7/5): - The location was perfect for accessing things. The courtyard was nice to have. Compared to other places around the price was good. The ac never got very cool. The bedroom was clean enough but worn out (ex: peeling wallpaper). We were put in a part of the hotel with no elevator (everywhere else seemed to have access to one). The fridge in the room could not be plugged in (wrong type of plug) so was useless.

• Marco (6/5): Vista Top, ma interni un po' retro' - Posizione davvero stupenda. Fronte Basilica, a pochi passi da Colosseo, Fori Imperiali, e tanto altro. Fermata taxi praticamente fronte hotel. Hotel allestito in palazzo storico, molto bello e con tantissimo potenziale. Personale disponibile e check-out molto ampio. Non ha gli standard che ti aspetteresti da un 4 stelle: ascensore piccolo, stanza con moquette molto retro', bagno completamente da rifare e con illuminazione non sufficiente, televisore molto piccolo per gli standard alberghieri attuali. Pulizia che lascia molte perplessità, soprattutto nel bagno. In generale, dispiace vedere una struttura storica di grande potenziale che non viene riattata per poter splendere al meglio. Nel complesso, la struttura è sufficiente, ma con poche migliorie strutturali potrebbe essere davvero wow.

Would have expected a bottle of water in the room for the price. Shower didn't work but managed a bath. Room smelt musty had to open the windows to make it feel fresh.

Extremely rigid policy application: I booked a room for per and three people. I arrived alone with dog. They still wanted to charge extra money. Their right but the attitude was offensive and I decided to leave the hotel. I get 100 plus hotel per year and these people have been the worst experience at all levels. Date of cancelled check in: 3/03/2025. I paid 151 euros Bad . I strongly recommend to avoid this specific location and there are several other options in the neighborhood at same price range.
