Guest Reviews
- KIEU OANH (8/5): -
- Josef (8/5): - Nice clean room. Quiet. Good location Safebox was loose, not fixed on wall or cabinet
- Heiduczek (9/5): - Schönes großes Zimmer
Sehr gute Lage und trotzdem sehr ruhig!
- Wihan (7/5): -
- George (10/5): Excellent stay - Everything, staff are really friendly and helpful, clean and big size of room Nothing
- bobbypuma (9/5): Good little gem of a spot in the old town close to the cathedral. - This is a cozy little hotel in a prime location of the old town. Little alleys are a bit quieter even though the taxi cannot get in, it is worth it. Clean room, solid wifi, decent air conditioning--they upgraded me to a high floor and I wasn't facing the busy alley so it was a calm and comfortable stay. It was easy to communicate with management. The shower was a little difficult to operate fully, but that's it!
- SHAOTAO (6/5): Le même prix je peux trouver ailleurs, franchement pas la peine de choisir cet hôtel, les photos sont bien retouchées. - Bcp de champions sur le mur et les rideaux.

- David (9/5): Great hotel. Service minded personel. Value for money. - Over my expectation for the top room. Nothing
- maura (7/5): -
- moulay larbi (10/5): -
- Nadun (7/5): Value for money not 100% - Location was great. And compared to same class hotel room is clean. Cockroaches are there in the room. At night their crawling is very much auditable as I was working at night. Also the bed provided was a combine of twin beds and on top there was a comforter. But either of us moved to center of the bed you can feel the gap and it’s quite uncomfortable.
- Franck (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (9/5): Superb -

- Amit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arthur (9/5): Superb - The installation have been quick,
The owner didn't asked me to put a review (pretty rare in Hanoi)
the room was clean, spacious and comfy,
I've changed my hotel every day during 1w, for a budget around 30 to 70aud
for 50aud this one was the best.
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benoit (8/5): Very good -
- Oscar (8/5): Very good -
- Philippe (8/5): Very good -
- Anna-maria (10/5): Very relaxing stay . - The room was so beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable and soft ( a rarity in Vietnam ) . The hotel was in a busy area but down an alley , so the room was silent and completely dark. Lots of great restaurants nearby.
The staff were really sweet. They don’t have much English , but as long as you have Google translate it’s fine .
I would also say , they have a lovely rooftop terrace which they don’t promote enough .
Would highly recommend. The TV had a bad signal , so difficult to watch .
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Turki (4/5): Disappointing -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trang (7/5): Good -
- Karen (10/5): Suddha was a sanctuary - Great location. Very helpful & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend
- Brock (7/5): Good - Nice rooms, great location. Communication with staff was not great as they don’t speak any English. No flexibility with check out even though they were quiet. Expensive laundry and charged for a cold shower after checking out.
- Thi (5/5): The facility and location of this hotel are good, but the staff service and the value are normal. - The Hotel is not ready for check-in at the time of arrival around 2:30 PM. I leave my bag there to go around for a look and go back in the mid-night.
The staff gave me a double room while I book a twin room and charged me the cost of twin room.
Then, they asked for pardon only.
Later, they discount the different between twin room and double room as per the price on the web. A very little amount.
- Tina (9/5): Superb -
- Clare (9/5): Highly recommend - Spacious rooms, superb quality in furniture, great location, friendly staff Housekeeping forgot our room on one occasion
- Kathleen (1/5): Bad - When we arrived we were supposed to be 4 friends at the same hotel but they over booked so one of my friend had to go to another one.
We booked a room deluxe supposed to be with a balcony and a bathtub buy when we arrived the rude receptionist told us that the pictures did not represent what you book for. He was super rude, he did not speak English at all and was not willing to help. This hotel is a scam don't go there !
- Teresa (10/5): Conveniently located hotel that was clean and quiet. Friendly staff. - Beautiful, quiet room. Clean, close to everything. Friendly staff. Nothing.
- Forbes (8/5): Lovely place to stay. Friendly family - Location - also nicely decorated.

Nice room
- Viet (10/5): A great hotel! - I got a room off booking.com for a very cheap price. The hotel is located in the heart of the touristy area, in a little alley. It is walkable to many places, accessible to restaurants, shops, and is a few steps away from the cathedral.
The hotel is newly renovated; it looks beautiful, even luxury, very clean and neat. With the price tag, it was a very good deal and I also extended my stay. Definitely come back again!
- Amber (6/5): Pleasant - Nice comfortable beds and clean room We got to the hotel and was told that we had to stay a night in the hotel next door for some reason which was slightly inconvenient. When we went to check into the room we had booked the following day we were told we had to wait for house keeping to clean the room which again was inconvenient as we had booked 2 nights at this hotel originally so we didn’t need to wait around going to different hotels checking in and out
- Diana (8/5): Very good -
- Amber (10/5): Brilliant hotel - Absolutely beautiful hotel it was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable, shower went hot quickly and it was powerful. The owner was helpful and informative Nothing
- Ciarán (8/5): Great location, nice room! - The room is amazing! Lovely location The bathroom wasn’t fully clean and hair was still in the drain
- Thi (4/5): Not worth for money - Great location Not worth for money . Aircon not work at the first night we arrive. The bathroom was blocked. The night staff really not friendly at all. The towel very cheap quality ( torn and old) event the blanket also get torn the cleaning not good at all, under the bed full of dust.
- Laurelie (1/5): Rude and threatening staff, worst experience in Asia - Worst customer service in a 4 months trip in Asia. We asked to extend our stay by one night and it was confirmed we could stay. When we came back in the afternoon, the owner asked for double the price instead of the price agreed and thrown us out without giving us time to pack when we didn't agree to pay that price. The owner was very aggressive and threatening, we would not advise anyone to stay here
- Victoria (8/5): Great location in the heart of the Old Quarter - Great location, the room was nice and the bed was comfortable
- Frequent (10/5): Perfect location. Clean & comfy room. Definitely will return. - Everything was brand new. Only the bath towels were worn and had some yellow stain. The faucet leaked water underneath when I opened the robinet. However excellent location and cleanliness of the bedsheet and pillows. Spacious room as well. I understand that the hotel has newly renovated and opened, but the owner really needs to change their bath towel collection.
- Hannah (7/5): Good -
- Fanny (9/5): nice stay in great neighborhood - i liked the staff who was friendly and helpful. the bedroom was very comfortable, ac works perfectly, everything was clean, the wifi was fast and reliable. the hotel is well located. everything was good, the shower water pressure could be stronger.
- Thuy (8/5): Very good - The hotel is in a great location. Directly in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Here you can reach many sights on foot. Many cafes, restaurant and street food around the hotel.
The rooms are very spacious and were well decorated.
For Vietnamese standards, the rooms were clean.
- Arum (9/5): Superb - A very nice room. Spacious and comfortable.
We love the location and stroll around.
Street foods, coffee shops, massages, and souvenir shops are within walking distance. It's close to Hoàn Kiếm Lake and its attractions.
- Elena (9/5): Superb - Everything No breakfast
- Utkarsh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (8/5): Very good - Great location, a comfortable bed, spacious room. The staff nice but don't speak English. Accepted early check in.
A laundry service just near the hotel at 15 VND No breakfast option available
- Charles (10/5): Perfect place to stay in the center - I love everything. The decoration and the style of the building ( reception, room). The room was extremely comfortable and gave me the impression that I was in an apartment. The place is neat and large and the staff upgraded my room. I’m really grateful for their help and their support for helping me with my trips. The hotel also took care of my transportation to the airport. It is a place that I recommend because it’s perfect and located in the old quarter ! I love everything.
- Anan (8/5): Very good -
- Riiko (9/5): what else you need? - friendly staff, great location and clean room! Can recommend! - very helpful staff, very clean and super location with great wifi. super good size room can be noisy as the temple is nearby and little touch up with a paint brush would be nice.
- Jilly (8/5): Quiet and Great Location with Everything within Reach - Central location in a quiet lane with food, massage, motorbike rental and tour agencies. The room is cozy and quite clean, overall a good stay! Nothing
- Klaudia (7/5): Good -
- Yen (9/5): Superb - Right in the heart of Hanoi, chic deco, bright and roomy, nice staff
- Imola (10/5): great, central and recommendable - The hotel is very centrally located, our room was nice and very clean. the employees were all very kind and flexible. the manager helped us a lot with our Trip to sapa, everything was very reliable and uncomplicated. she really listened to what we had in mind and wanted to help us. We had good experiences and can only recommend them! there is also a nice roof terrace upstairs😛
- Donna (9/5): Lovely small hotel newly renovated in a great location - Awesome small boutique style hotel with a great outdoor space on the roof. The hotel is very small with 10 rooms which makes it quiet. The staff, especially Duk on reception are helpful and do speak a bit of English. Newly furnished and painted rooms with full doors which can open to a tiny balcony. Good showers with ample pressure and hot water. Love to location with great eats within steps. Luca across the street has beer for 15 dong. St Joseph Cathedral within a 2 minute walk. Great coffee cafes everywhere.
- Narantungalag (6/5): Pleasant - The location was just perfect in the middle of the Old quarter. The cleanliness was not satisfactory, especially the bathroom.
- H (7/5): OK overnight accommodation - Hanoi old quarter is extremely noisy but this hotel is centrally located in a quiet lane with lots of restaurants, tourist attractions, shops, travel agents, and massage parlours nearby. Hard pillows, flimsy entrance lock to the room, no breakfast option available.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, lovely hotel and manager. Some beard hairs in the bathroom and old fruit in the fridge but this is a minor point.
- Jamie (5/5): Passable - very cheap horrible view out the back
- Anonymous (9/5): Would love to stay longer! - The room was large and well equipped with a mini fridge, safe, table and chairs and more. Exactly as pictured! Not much to do on the balcony but nice to open it if you want air or to see what’s going on outside. Be sure to get the correct room as I was almost given a family room but I definitely wanted the room with the bath tub. Be careful as you drain the tub otherwise a flood on the floor can happen. The staff was friendly and helpful! The bed was huge and comfortable. The value for this place was amazing! I’d love to go back. The key cards were finicky.
- Lalit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmad (9/5): Superb - being high in 7th floor was a great along with the balcony.
- Thi (10/5): Exceptional -
