Guest Reviews
- Namikata (1/5): - Horrible Extremely dirty

- Joshua (1/5): Terrible - do not stay - PLS DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The pictures are misleading , the room is super disgusting and dirty it’s like they didn’t even clean it. We found stains on the sheets, hair everywhere, nail clippings and rubbish on the room floor as well as a weird lingering smell throughout the whole building
I addressed the property owner to raise this concern and possibly get a refund to stay elsewhere as it was no way near in any condition to stay in. After contacting he ignored the messages so I had to reach out to the customer service team through booking.com and denied any opportunity for a refund but instead a fee of over £100 if we cancelled our booking and checked out early. I even requested for something so simple such as new bed sheets and was again ignored so had to spend my own money on new bedding.
This was the property owners response to my inquiry -
・Claimed that the cleaning was sufficient
・Suggested that the hair might have been dropped by the guest
・Stated that it was unreasonable to complain about being unable to stay while already inside the room
・Insisted that entering the room itself meant the situation was not uninhabitable
・Mentioned that a cancellation fee of 20,400 JPY would be charged if you checked out early
No acknowledgment for how bad his hotel was , nor an apology and instead blamed us for the mess and inconvenience of the property.
Not to mention that there is no security at the door entrance so anybody and everybody can just enter the building which is a safety hazard.
Please do not waste your money on this terrible place and make the mistake I made
- Ali (1/5): Dirty, thin walls and the worst hotel experience ever - The location Everything else
- Luis M (8/5): - Everything was nearby
- yuhan (9/5): -
- Fabian (7/5): - La cercania La limpieza. Los baños siempre estaban sucios. Los basureros se encontraban llenos y los pisos sucios.
- Viviana (3/5): - Location Bed and mattress in really bad conditions, our nights were uncomfortable. The toilets were dirty.

- Nilanjan (8/5): Very good -
- Agung (7/5): Good -
- Russo (8/5): Affordable price for a long, solo traveler - For a long stay and the price of a "shared" space that offers your own room at least, it was more than reasonable. I was there for 27 day. I was able to keep my luggage and belongs safe and secured while also being able to travel outside of Tokyo (Kyoto/Osaka)
So if you're a solo traveler staying for 2 or more weeks then I recommend AN HOTEL. for 27 days, I paid just a little over $1,000 USD. Again, keeping all of my things secure while I traveled to other places without the added work of hauling everything around
But remember, you get what you paid for The cooking area needed a touch up
- Branislav (7/5): Good -
- Noemi (8/5): Overall, we definitely recommend this place if you're not too picky. Great value for the price, cons - Hotel was very accommodating for late check-in. No receptionist/staff but we figured out how to self check-in. Room was overlooking the road so quite noisy at night, but manageable (hotel provided ear plugs!). Common areas were nice and hotel has complete facilities. Perfect location for travelers since the train station is right beside the hotel. Convenience stores and restaurants are 5-minute walk away. Only problems are the bed because of the springs, and the road noise, but all very manageable.
- Ahinaom (1/5): Not clean - , The hotel was not clean at all, Under the bed was a pile of dust ,The toilet and the bathroom was disgusting and not clean at all , the floor was not vacuum and Full of Dirt, And the entrance to the building was not locked and only separation between outside is the door of the room , So it’s feeling unsafe
- Raul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bohora (1/5): Bad -
- Nur (7/5): 🆗 - love this place because it located near train station. but the room not clean, very dusty but im ok with it because of the facilities you provided in hotel. the room not clean
- Othissia (1/5): Bad - Mattress was comfortable, that's it No staff, anyone could enter the "hotel" without booking or anything. The common spaces were very dirty (even an uncleaned pan from, at least, over 1 week) the cleaning was not done.
- Myothant (8/5): Very good -
- Chandra (1/5): Dirty hotel with high price - Nothing very bad and dirty Room full of dust, bathroom was very dirty. Very bad hotel in this price range
- Siffat (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mahsuri (8/5): Very good -
- Aji (1/5): Overprice n Bad experience - Nothing Everything is bad
- Wiranata (8/5): nice stay in An Hotel - room is good and also there is laundry machine some times I smell some one smoking
- Abrar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sepillo (5/5): Passable -
- Adrian (8/5): Very good - It was OK, just like in the pictures, good for a few days A little small, but that is normal in Japan
- Takemura (3/5): It was bearable for the price, but barely. Very unsafe, unsanitary and disgusting. However, great location. Would not re - Good location Very unsanitary and dirty facilities.
Unsafe for women
Many people barging into room
Cigarette butts in room even though it’s a non-smoking hotel
Very thin walls, no privacy
- Estela (6/5): Pleasant - There is a share kitchen and the staff was friendly. The bed was really uncomfortable and the traffic noise was really loud all night.
- Elif (1/5): Bad - Location insects exist in the room, a lot.
- April (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything. Nice and simple room, bathrooms were clean and other guests were friendly and quiet If you don't have access to a landline and are late arriving its almost impossible to get checked in. If they could add a whatsapp option for contact that would really help
- Ipsita (3/5): Disguisted. - The free luggage storage in the room, the location. That's a long list. A) The shared space was extremely dirty. The utensils were unusable. Everything in the room, even the refrigerator was moldy. B) The toilets were horrible. The bath was horrible. The shampoo, conditioner, body soap and face and hand wash had run out and not been replaced. C) The rooms were tiny and not well kept. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages.
- Stefan (5/5): you get what you pay for. - Price was good for the room and it's size. The room was not too loud (it's next to the expressway) or too dirty. As other guests write, the shared spaces are kinda dirty. I think they are cleaned only once a week and therefore very dependent on how other guests behave.
- Jimmy (5/5): Passable -
- Marly (1/5): Terrible experience. Disgusting place. - I don't like anything about this place. That place should not be categorized as a hotel since it is a place that does not comply with cleanliness, ease of going up to the other levels, comfort, there is no staff who attends or receives the customers, it does not even have a reception, etc. We requested our money back from the first day we arrived at that place since it was terribly dirty, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. Even the sheets and pillowcases were dirty, with hair, the bed protector was stained with blood, the mattress had the springs sticking out, the bathroom was yellow/orange from the dirt it had, the kitchen was uncleaned, the sink Full of hair and dirt, etc. Everything was disgusting. The manager who went to our room because we wrote that we needed the money back, practically told us that if we didn't like the place as it was, we should leave, at 10:00 at night when we were tired and had no other place to stay. It was a terrible experience. I would like these places to be closed since they do not meet the requirements as a hotel. It's disappointing.
After the fact that it is not a good place, the manager is rude, taking us out in the middle of the night and a liar since he said that they had already cleaned and we came back and the place was still the same. We were in that place for 5 days and it was never cleaned.
- Pierre-giovanni (8/5): Very good -
- Wiryawan (8/5): Never regret staying in this hotel - Good shower, air conditioner, and closet no broomstick
- Elizaveta (9/5): Superb -
- Sophia (8/5): Very good -
- Van (6/5): All good if you're not overly picky. - Private room at low cost. Good value. Location by proximity is good. By train, 20 minutes to Shinjuku, 25 to Shibuya. Feels like an authentic local neighbourhood. No staff. Wasn't a problem because there was no problem. But many of us travelers don't have a phone to contact them if there is. Many of us are on data only, local sims.
It's a bit noisy with a big highway beside.
- Carmel (8/5): Cheap place to stay in Tokyo - Location is great, right round the corner from the station and also next to convenience stores.
I was quite concerned about the reviews and was a bit worried about coming but I’ve realised how dramatic they are on arrival. Yes, the bathroom definitely could be cleaner and so could the kitchen it’s not exactly a hotel but I’m pretty sure this is the cheapest place to stay in all of Tokyo so for backpackers travellers or someone on a budget you can’t really complain. It’s what you pay for!
The bedrooms were an ok size, shower pressure was great and hot. Sadly beds not very comfortable and very bad thin pillows.
Bathroom could really do with a proper daily floor clean
Also a little bit of effort to clean the kitchen would make a whole lot of difference because it wasn’t really useable. Good there is a fridge in the bedroom though!
- Emmanuel (1/5): Bad - almost 40 usd hidden fees, no clean bathroom (see all the comments)
- Ohmar (5/5): Passable -
- Daichi (2/5): Cheap - The only things of good is price. That’s the cheapest option around that area. I don’t mind the quality because of cheap price. That’s fair enough. However, the bed (the regs)was broken. The owner must be replacement ASAP. That’s really dangerous. I got an injury my arm…..
- David (10/5): Grand - Great value for money, good location, did all it needed to.
More a kin to a hostel than a hotel but still nice. A little noisy
- Christina (9/5): Superb -
- Jester (8/5): Pretty good place to stay for tokyo. - Location, friendly staff, helpful.
- Ei (4/5): Disappointing -
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good location but not very clean or comfortable - Very well located and with many restaurants around. Two train stations nearby The kitchen was very dirty, as was one of the showers and the sinks. The mattress had the springs so far out that it was very difficult to sleep and rest at night. The heater didn't work very well and it made us very cold, and because they didn't give us a blanket, we covered ourselves with the bed cover but it wasn't enough.
- Ola (2/5): This is not a hotel despite the name. - Nothing in particular. I give two points because I have, unfortunately, seen worse places. My mother hated it, but I sleep in the woods sometimes so we have different standards. Dirty, dusty, unclean and filthy. Our room has not been properly cleaned in months because there was a beer can with a thick layer of dust under the bed. The bathroom likewise, layers of dust, hair and dusty, forgotten toothbrushes.
- Jinseong (1/5): Bad - I slept as well as I could, but this place was seriously dirty.
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Location was amazing
- Rowzan (3/5): Poor -
- Napaphat (10/5): Excellent - The location is perfect not too close or far from the city.
- Fernando (4/5): Disappointing -
- Aftab (2/5): Very poor -
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Kristina (8/5): Very good - Good hotel if you spend all day outside and need just a sleeping place. Was a bit cold, but with air conditioner of course better. Poor sound insulation
- Ann (1/5): Bad - Bad hotel,no cleaning,,
- Aminov (7/5): Good - Location, clse to subway Convenient for single and couple. But when family stay, there is some challenges, especialy having a meal in dining space
- Yunia (8/5): Very good - the price is good and not far from city like Shinjuku and Ikebukuro. Near hotel there is a park that quite good foor you to smoke or just chill... this place have a kitchen for heat your meals from convinience store... so it quite nice... but they don't have the dish soap... so i buy it and place it in the kitchen... you can put your lugage if you coming early befor time to check in... so it good... save money for locker... stair... you need to go upstair with your lugage... and the toilet is in outside of your room.. but this place is better than capsule hotel... and i will recommended you this hotel and i will go back use this hotel too...
- Naoki (2/5): Very poor -
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Cheap, central, easy, good
- Pasidh (7/5): A perfect stay - Ease of check in (self) and location is nearby metro (1 minute walk really) No staff is around so you do your check in yourself (instructions provided). No elevators so you have to carry your heavy luggage up to second or third floor yourself.
- Janis (8/5): Enjoyable spot for a visit to Tokyo - Perfect adjacency to the subway. Cute, very clean.
Ideal for those on a budget who want to visit all spots in the city. They ran out of coffee, soap, dish soap. And didn’t replace it. Our sheets were also not changed during the two week stay, which was a surprise.
- Ahpisit (7/5): Good -
- Adriana (1/5): Extremely poor. - I didn't like anything. Specially because I sent my luggage to the hotel and they simply didn't receive it which caused me a stress because I went to the hotel and I could'n get my bag on time. I hated everything. The whole facility is very dirty. Eventhough they charge you a cleaning fee, you can see the dirt under your bed, on the carpets of all the facility. The bathroom 's is a the most disgusting.
There is no front desk so you don't see anyone to ask for anything in case you need . They simply leave your room's key on the door and a message on a whiteboard for you. The whole buiding is very old.
- Jadesada (8/5): Good Choice for fair price. - 1) the subway Shin Itabashi Station is 1 minute away. This Station has escalator near 4th bogie. First time I arrived, I didn't notice this station has elevator.
If you have big luggage, you find Exit Gate A3, and nearby it has elevator. or you have to carry all the way by stair.
2) A lot of convenient stores nearby : family mart, 7-11 and 3 supermarkets. Life supermarket is opposite family mart. Other 2 supermarkets, you should use google map to find : Co-op and Maruetsu.
3) A lot of restaurants nearby.
4) Refrigerator in the room They DON"T have reception!!!!! Just contact number on whiteboard on second floor.
1) if you arrived, you could send message via booking app and wait for their response, about 10-15 minutes for my case.
The Property has free Wi-Fi.
2) You can call them, this will be quicker and more responsive.
Don't waste your time for nearby Ramen Restaurant for their help. They DON'T HELP. Even though, their shop is 5 meters away. They won't borrow telephone, even you eat at their shop. Good Thing is food is so-so. One time is enough.
Once you got contact with them, the staff will come and help you check-in.
- Iftikhar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raul (9/5): It’s ok, l’d stay there again! - Relatively close to Haneda airport Sometimes noisy outside
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yoan (6/5): Pleasant - Nice room with comfy bed. A free laundry machine was available ! The bathroom was pretty dirty.
- Marcus (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eliza (8/5): Very good -
- Hong (6/5): Pleasant -
- Keiron (5/5): Passable place, just don't spend too much on it. - The location was very good, two Familymarts and a grocery store with Shin-Itabashi Station a 1 minute walk away.
The staff was also very helpful. The property was not clean and up to the standards considering the price I paid (€200+). I would often walk outside my room to the smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the air.
- Jade (7/5): I did enjoy how easy checkin was, and how private the stay was and felt - How close it was to everything The showers were dirty and the bed was hard, also always smelt like cigarettes
- Pamela (2/5): Awful - Nothing, even the pictures of the accommodation doesn’t match the real facilities Everything. There was no description about a shared bathroom, not separated by sex. The bathroom was dirty and disgusting. We wasn’t sure if the bed sheets were clean. At the entrance there were dirty laundry bags. This seems like a pensión not a hotel
- Randy (5/5): Passable -
- Boonkiat (1/5): Bad -
- Tarik (8/5): Pleasantly surprised. Overall would recommend for budget travels. - The room was a very comfortable and big. We enjoyed our stay. The room was a bit dusty and the woman's toilet was dirty.
