En niet duur. - Vrij propere kamer, en gezien de ligging, behoorlijk rustig (weinig straatlawaai) De ligging is fantastisch, vlakbij het Gare du Nord EN! We konden al om 10.30u op onze kamer, en konden onze bagage bij uitcheck ook daar laten tot het vertrekuur van onze trein. Het personeel was wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De inkom en 'receptie' is niet aangenaam. De inrichting van alles en van de kamer is heel eenvoudig en erg verouderd, maar wel proper

Pretty good value for that location. Friendly people on reception. Room has a useful desk. Curfew is very late at 1am but shame they can't provide a key to the outer door. A bit basic, with very small room and bathroom. Dowdy decor.

Je regarderai autre chose ; mitigé ! - Situation juste en face de la gare du nord ; chambre conforme aux attentes ; douche évier wc tv en parfaits fonctionnement. Nombreuses brasseries et commerces aux alentours Le quartier est assez pourri ; limite insécuritaire le soir. Le bas de l'hôtel est un ancien bistrot ; très bordelique qui à l'arrivée peut faire peur... Matelas un peu défoncé . Pas d'ascenseur. Limite rentrée et sortie 01h 08h...

• Monika (7/5): Sehr einfaches Hotel mit gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis - Die Lage an Gare du Nord und Gare de l‘Est war sehr gut. Das Personal war freundlich und die Zimmer sauber. Die Ausstattung ist sehr einfach und erinnert an Paris früherer Zeiten.
• Marlies (9/5): We zijn zeer tevreden over ons verblijf en als we nog een keer naar Parijs gaan gaan we weer naar dit hotel. - Heel vriendelijk personeel. Ze begroeten je iedere dag met een glimlach. We konden onze kamer om 10:00 al in en op onze laatste dag mochten we onze koffers ook bij hun laten staan. Voor de prijs was het een goede kamer. Het was een wat kleinere bed, maar dat was wel te doen.

Il coprifuoco all'1 di notte è stato un po' un problema: se vedete lo spettacolo finale di Disneyland, con i mezzi si torna appena in tempo. La gente della stazione è parecchio losca, a un certo punto hanno acceso un bengala (vedi foto dall'hotel)

• Michel (8/5): Great location and well-maintained rooms - Slightly dated, but clean and well-kept. And the location next to Gare Du Nord is excellent when you have a connecting train the next day. I really appreciated the working desk in the room, easily having space for two laptops next to each other when you need to multi-task. The only thing I was missing during this stay was the possibility of a later checkout - even for an additional fee. It would have made it the perfect stay to avoid killing time on the train station.

Tuvā apkārtnē daudz restorānu un bāru dažādām cenu kategorijām. Viesnīcas saimniece ļoti laipna un atsaucīga. Numurs tīrs un ar cenai atbilstošu aprīkojumu. Problēmas ir ar fēna izmantošanu (tas netiek nodrošināts, bet pie saimnieces var to papildus saņemt lietošanai), jo vannas istabā nav elektrības kontakta, bet dzīvojamā telpā nav spogulis, kas būtu izmantojams, pie elektrības rozetes pieslēdzot fēnu vai jebkuru citu aprīkojumu. Televizora izmērs ir superminiatūrs.

La habitación cómoda y limpia Llegamos temprano de un viaje largo y no nos permitieron entrar sino hasta las dos de la tarde, tuvimos que dar vueltas, a las 12. Nos dejaron guardar las maletas en la recepción. una mujer que nos recibió muy mal presentada y olor a sudor. La recepción huele a orines de gato, de humano, se encierra allí un olor demasiado desagradable. Gracias a Dios no fue así con la habitación. Estábamos temiendo lo peor.

• Peter (8/5): No fuss, no frills - but so conveniently located. - The hotel's main 'plus point' is its location: just a stone's throw from the Gare du Nord and just a few minutes' walk away from the Gare de l'Est. Central Paris is about half an hour's walk away. I had asked for a quiet room and I was assigned a room on the innner side of the building, well away from the street - and I heard no noise at all. The room was small and rather spartan, but adequate for a single night's stay prior to an early-morning departure from the Gare du Nord.

A recepcionista não sabia inglês e como sou brasileira elas acharma que eu falaria espanhol e tentaram falar em espanhol comigo, o quarto é grande, da pra ouvir todo barulho no corredor e o quarto nao é limpo. O banheiro tinha cabelo e eu duvido muito que tenham trocado o lençol da minha cama por que também tinha cabelo no lençol. O ambiente é pesado, escuro, se estiver com mala pesada vai sofrer para subir as escadas. Eu fiquei por uma noite, mas foi mais ue o suficiente, eu com certeza não voltaria

I've seen another review which describes the decor as 'vintage', and I can't think of a better adjective! Nevertheless, clean, warm and comfortable, and just right for the price. For my purpose the location was ideal; just a couple of minutes from Paris Nord and just a few more to Gare De l'Est. It wasn't advertised, but it would have been handy to eat at the brasserie on the ground floor, had it been open.
• David (8/5): - I chose the hotel for its location, which was ideal, a couple of minutes' walk from Paris Nord. The welcome from the landlady was cheerful and friendly. The facilities were basic and a bit old-fashioned, but clean, warm and comfortable. Overall good value for money and I would gladly stay again. Although it wasn't advertised, there looked like a pleasant brasserie on the ground floor, and it was a shame it wasn't open.

• Péter (7/5): - Very good location, directly next to Gare du Nord - Gare de l'Est also near on foot - with all the metro and RER accesses to city centre, other railway stations and airports. Despite of it absolutely quiet. Helpful staff even with a lovely cat. Everything is clean and well functioning. The interior is old - I've never even seen a toilet flush tank like that before - therefore also very odd smells on the corridors and particularly at the reception. Strange pillow, having a wide cylindric form, but not to be divided for two persons. Bed linen is a bit spartan with separate blanket and sheet, like on couchette cars.

Also, though that area is really busy, my room was remarkably quiet throughout the night. And it was clean. Though not my fanciest stay, it was extremely convenient and a great value for the area. The room was tiny and the furniture/decor sort of 60s boho and definitely not on the new side. The pillow was a bit odd... a long cylinder that was then rolled up in the top end of the sheet. Not super comfy, but for one night it was fine.

• Anja (7/5): - Great location at gare du Nord. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Rooms were nice and had everything you need. The single room was extremely small and a bit stuffy. Heating was too warm for us for sleeping so we had to keep the windows open, but I guess people vary.

Also, she was very responsive and provided us with hot water and tea cups to make tea in the evening and also early in the morning. Overall, the hotel where we stayed was nice, just requires some renovation. The hotel is just a few steps from Gare du Nord. What is very convenient if you need to leave early. Very nice, budget friendly place. Pillows we're placed up on the shelf of the wardrobe. We slept without them.

• R.marye (6/5): - La proximité de la gare est très appréciable quand tu arrives à 23h dans le quartier. La chambre tout comme l hôtel, très vieillotte était très propre. On ne lésine pas sur le chauffage, j'ai dû le couper, et ouvrir la fenêtre Accueil très sympathique par le patron je présume. Super papier toilette ! Il fait aussi le précisé 😂 Le bruit par des gens au-dessus ou sur le côté de la chambre jusqu'à une heure du matin, réveillée par le bruit du métro vers les 5 heures. Bon pour une nuit ou deux si le bruit ne gêne pas et je n étais pas côté rue !!!

• Elena Maria (7/5): Camera essenziale, pulita e perfetta per chi vuole visitare tutta la città con l’aiuto della metro di giorno. - Ottima posizione, perfetta per visitare tutta la città con l’aiuto della metro in quanto davanti ad una delle stazioni principali, personale gentile e disponibile, c’era il bidet e non la moquette fortunatamente, la camera era pulita e calda. Le camere non sono molto insonorizzate, la zona potrebbe sembrare non ma con il fatto che l’hotel chiude dall’1 di notte alle 8 di mattina noi entro le 21 eravamo già in camera e non abbiamo mai avuto nessun problema.

• marleen (10/5): - - Als je blij bent met basis is dit een tophotelletje - goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding - heel goed qua ligging: dicht bij station en openbaar vervoer metro om stad mee rond te sporen - heel vriendelijk personeel: hou ervan als ik bij de 2x de maal binnenkomen al automatisch de sleutel krijg zonder mijn naam te noemen, ze gaven ook spontaan een tip over het nummer van de 'sortie' van de metro etc : voelde me hier echt welkom en thuis (en niet omdat ik Belgische ben :-) ) - kamer heel basis ingericht, maar proper en alles in orde en vond het charmant dat ik nog eens lakens + deken had, ligt nog altijd lekkerder voor mij dan een donsdeken - geen ontbijtoptie, niet tegenvallen want wist dat bij het boeken en ken de buurt, veel ontbijtopties er rond, mijn favoriet ligt er tegenover: café A la Pinte du Nord, waar de vaste klanten aan de toog staan voor hun koffie en croissant bij de sympathieke baas. Ontbijt (grote kop koffie, stokbrood, confituur, croissant en drie eieren in spiegelei of omelet) voor 10 euro - opgelet geen hotel voor nachtraven: voor 1u moet je binnen zijn
