- ökten yıldız (1/5): Completely Disaster - Only location, nothing more, nothing... I've been using this app for all my international travels for 10 years. This is my third trip to Japan, and based on my experiences, I thought I'd be satisfied even with the worst hotel, but this was a complete disaster. It's a very old hotel offering daily or hourly bookings. The furnishings are at least 50 years old. Imagine, there's a VHS tape player! It's impossible for a normal person to fit in the toilet. Even the hotel I stayed in in Osaka, which cost a third of this price, had a modern toilet system. You have to bend down to shower, the tiles are bright yellow. The water heater was sticky. All the buttons were dirty, the bottom of the bed was bright yellow, you can see it in the photos. There's no Wi-Fi in the hotel, not just slow, but completely nonexistent. You connect to the modem, but it says there's no internet access. When I told the staff at check-in, they just said "we're sorry." They don't speak any English. You can stay in a much better place for 14,000 yen a day. The only positive is the location, but the surrounding area is full of much better hotels. I wrote to customer service through the app, but they didn't even respond... This app is over for me; I thought it protected the user.

- Shubhendu (7/5): - The staff was amazing. She was pretty responsive. The room was big. Cleanliness was top notch. The wifi connectivity was quite poor. The toilet room was unusually small even for Japan standards.

- Nowak (9/5): - Friendly staff, easy to access and close tk the stations. Bed could be a comfier but good experience overall.

- Michelle (7/5): Good - Great location in the middle of Korea Town near lots of restaurants and the metro. Large bedroom with lots of space and reasonably quiet. It smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke inside. It's not a fancy place, it's basically an old love hotel converted into a normal one.
- Ben (7/5): Good - Location was perfect. 5 minutes to the station and good connections to other lines. Rooms are fairly large but old and with bad lighting It is an old hotel that needs renovation. But then again you get what you pay for
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Esther (8/5): The staff were helpful however I did not know how to communicate with us in English. They tried but hard to understand e - Was close to railway station. Easy excess to wherever we went. Walking distance for shop and eat. The toilet was very small, not enough space to get inside .
- Ray (10/5): Exceptional - Staff, location
- Winter (5/5): Too scared to return of a day - Everything is quite run down.
There's been no attempts at renovating the property over the years, so it's all quite poor.
The original built in bed is still there with cigarette burns and who knows what else, so they've just topped it with a futon (which is actually too small).
Bathroom had mold evident, so we had to go to bath houses around us instead.
Whole place reeks of cigarette smoke.
- Onofre (7/5): it was pretty okay, not too bad no that good also. - The room itself is pretty big and you get a couch too. you definitely get what you paid for.
Amenities are all provided like every hotel and it has good enough soundproofing.
Staff is friendly at least. can easily communicate through google translate
Location is the best part of this hotel since it's next to a station. Bed and couch not completely clean.
Wifi is pretty bad.
Toilet doesn't have bidet, and using pretty cheap toilet paper.
- Rangga (10/5): so comfort for me - so strategist no, all good
- Alma (8/5): Great stay, i would stay again ;) - The staff member who assisted us was generous." I loved the place, but I found the lack of a bidet in the toilet disappointing.
- Jacqueline (8/5): Very good -
- Hemant (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (1/5): Horrible. I didn't spend the night. The facility is run down, old and in need of repair. - I didn't like anything at all! Horrible experience! There is absolutely nothing to like about the place! I would not recommend anybody to spend a night here
- Thomas (9/5): Dated but comfortable enough. - Great location. Quiet area but still walkable to downtown Shinjuku. Room was large. Had table and chairs I could sit at and watch Japanese TV while drinking beer with my buddy. Nothing of note. I’m not a fussy luxury queen.
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Saini (8/5): Very good -
- Kyotocarl (2/5): Very poor - Cheap. Dirty, you could hear other people through the walls. You had to leave your key when you went out.
- Erika (9/5): Superb -
- ソブロン (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (5/5): Passable - Perfect location For the money i pay for it is okay.
- Ka (6/5): Spacious room, great location but Wifi doesn’t work and staff unable to communicate in English - Excellent location. It is 3-min walk from Shin-Okubo station, which along the Yamanote line. It is also within 15 mins walk from Shinjuku centre and Kabuki-cho. It is super easy to go around and find good places to eat.
The room I booked is quite spacious, which is hard to find in Tokyo! The Wifi doesn’t work in the room. Because of that, although there is a screen and a projector, I couldn’t take advantage of them to watch a movie.
The staff could speak only a little bit English - so they couldn’t really help with my Wifi, although I tried to use Google Translate to explain the situation.
I asked for a non-smoking room but in the end, they gave me a smoking room (I double-checked with the staff at the reception, she told me it’s a non-smoking room but I found an ash tray on the dining table…).
- Ewa (8/5): Very good - I dont get the very bad reviews here. It's not top notch nor brand new, but the service is extremely friendly, the room doesn't miss anything out and we had a good stay
- Jacob (5/5): Passable - Very close to the city/station Not very clean and had to leave key with hotel+hard to translate
- Natalia (2/5): Don't stay anymore - The location only. The smell of cigarettes in the room and no wifi.
- Narciso (7/5): Good -
- Igor (8/5): Cost benefit - Great location Is a old construction, old abs damaged furnitures.
- Alima (8/5): Very good -
- Jurgen (5/5): Passable -
- Lewis (6/5): Decently priced stay at a convenient location. - Convenient location and good staff. Decently priced too. Outdated facilities and the bathroom was extremely small. And there was hair on our bed.
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Alex (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Eloise (10/5): Was perfect for us, exactly what we needed. Wish we stayed longer. - Perfect location, beautiful staff, cheap price for a decent sized room. Definitely coming back! That we had to checkout 10am
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! May room was spacious good wifi good location great staff. Thank you City Hotel Dolphin
- Cristhian (8/5): Very good -
- Antonio (7/5): Good - Rooms were spacious. Building looked kind of seedy.
- Keegan (3/5): Love hotel, not a vibe. - The room was big that is honestly the only nice thing. They did provide slippers for use while within the room after the genkan (the part of the room where you leave your outside shoes and switch to something else) This was a love hotel, which in itself isn't a bad thing, this is more of a place to rest until the first train but for the price you would be better off paying hourly or going to a net cafe.
The room was slightly dirty when we entered. there was a few pests that were dead but they were still in the room which was disheartening. The sheets were discolored and the bed as well. This was a place that we slept with the lights dim but still on (this was a sleep with one eye open kind of vibe). Although there was a shower and tub, the room overall was extremely dated.
- トメ (6/5): Pleasant -
- トメ (8/5): Very good -
- Fred (10/5): I've been to 4 hotels while in Tokyo and this is the WINNER in cost, value and location. - The lad at the front desk was very helpful translating English to Japanese on her phone, very patient and kind! Once I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised with its spaciousness and cleanliness...its like a one bedroom apartment! Very thoughtful arrangement.
