• JANINE (8/5): - I was really appreciative that the staff was able to keep me in the same room for the pre-extra night before my group tour had started. Everyone seemed very approachable, friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi tub jets were not working.

• Fleur (4/5): 4 sterren ver te zoeken - Locatie dichtbij het vliegveld, prima uitvalsbasis om vanuit hier met een huurauto eropuit te gaan. Het eerste wat opviel is dat de vervallen buitenkant netjes weggelaten wordt op de foto's op booking.com. Kamers zijn zeer verouderd. Oncomfortabele bedden, en een bureaustoel waar het nepleer vanaf bladdert. Om nog maar niet te spreken over de gedateerde groezelige badkamer met bad-/douchecombinatie waarvan de douchekop verkalkt is en het bad niet meer wit te poetsen is. Ook was er geen afzuiging of wc borstel. Restaurantpersoneel stond meer gapend bij de kassa dan dat ze rondliepen, waardoor we zelf maar opstonden voor nog een drankje..

• Lucy (6/5): Used for overnight prior to flight. - Location chosen for airport access. Ok. Free parking. It was noisy. Children running in hallway and playing outside our window at restaurant. Perhaps request quieter room location. Restaurant wasn’t very good and didn’t have breakfast because we had to leave before 7. They did offer a takeaway breakfast. The room was clean but the corridors and stair carpeting was dirty. Pillows not very comfortable.

• Adrienne (6/5): - Staff were extremely helpful and very polite The hotel needs a bit more love it's very run down and we found the restaurant a little gruby and very expensive.
• Sharron (8/5): Reasonably priced, well located, clean and comfortable accommodation - The room was large, plenty of space for luggage etc. Good sized bathroom..Well located on Swords Rd with proximit6 to the airport. Parking was a bonus. A little noisy on the first night as big wedding there. After that, fine. The Bistro Bar had good food although we waited an hour for our meal.
• James (8/5): - The amenities were exceptional. The Pool, Hottub, and sauna were all included and perfect for ending each day. The hydrotherapy was not available during our stay. The facility was also very clean and the staff was very friendly. The beds were worn out with indents in the mattress and the pillows were stiff. Woke up sore every morning.
• Austin (7/5): Perfect for our needs, felt luxurious, but some areas might be dated or broken - The hotel was perfect. Close to the airport, but not too far from the city. The pool & sauna were great to be able to use as well. Staff were super helpful. I requested a "quiet" room. They gladly filled my request - but the AC did not work in the room. The staff made it seem like it was a temporary thing, but brought us a fan. The room was hot even with the window cracked all night in May. The beds were comfortable, room clean. Grocery store nearby for a small bite. The hotel food was very overpriced, we didn't eat there, but found other options nearby. Public transportation was easy to use! Staff were helpful to explain. Some staff seemed surprised our AC wasn't working, while others expected it, and it seemed more like an ongoing issue. They gave one free breakfast to help.

• Félix (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix prêt du centre - Nous avons apprécier notre séjour notamment grâce au personnel qui est vraiment à l'écoute et qui a par exemple accepter de chauffer notre nourriture ou même de nous faire un petit déjeuner imprévu. L'hôtel est vraiment dans son jus, des petits soucis de plomberie mais rien de bien méchant. La chambre était très confortable, spacieuse. L'arrêt de bus juste à côté de l'hôtel permet de se rendre en ville facilement en environ 10 minutes et les bus tournent tard ! Nous avons apprécié pouvoir avoir une place de parking gratuite avec un véhicule de location et aucun problème a signaler. La superette à côté permet de manger pour un prix très raisonnable. Je conseil cet établissement.

• Peter (7/5): Plus.. minus minus minus - Nice to have meals and bar all good inside premises. Got a better maintained room after complaining twice.. Not really 4 star quality.. standard rooms very tired and hallways carpet needs replacing..., stuff broken in rooms , shower controls , flush mechanism, safe if there doesn't work. Etc and not fixed, views from rear facing rooms awful... Rubbish, brick walls facing you.
• Gail (8/5): Not a four star hotel, but clean - The hotel is beautiful, staff friendly and approachable. We used the Spa and that was really nice and everything was free. Our room 3111, when we arrived the door was wide open, and there was a distinctive smell of tobacco, and this surfaced everytime you went out of the room and re-entered. There was a full iron mark on the carpet where someone had burnt it. We ate ate McGettigans, which was pricy for the food that you got, one fish and chips, batter was soggy and chunky chips need a carving night to cut through them, they offered a portion of skinny fries to replace, but then did offer a drink as a replacement. I had Linguine but then 24 hours later ended up with vomitting and diarrhoea, now four days later still having problems GP says its food posioning, so swerve the restsurant and eat at the hotel bar, food was not has costly and looked so much better.

Found out by accident that hotel was cordoned off for vehicles for 3.5 hours and during that time we had to catch a ferry, hence having to lleave at crack of dawn 2.5 hours earlier than necessary

• Inge (7/5): Das Hotel war sauber und gut. Wir haben im dazugehörigen Restaurant sehr gut gegessen. - Indoor Pool, Sauna, Dampfbad top. Whirlpool etwas zu heiss. Frühstück: Etwas laute Musik in einem grossen Raum, deshalb eher ungemütlich. Frühstück war ok, leider keine Gemüse, Sprossen oder Kerne. Personal etwas unaufmerksam. Lage ausserhalb, zirka 30 Min. mit Bus zur Innerstadt

• Mike Blackmore (8/5): Very Plush hotel. - It was mission to Dublin Airport have to get number 41 bus at bus stop 15 at Airport get of at Griitths Downs the bus goes past the Hotel, bus stop aftee just have to walk back its 20 mins outside Dublin City not inside the city. It was busy it had Christining party in, and lots of people in around the hotel. The hotel was oitside the city which didnt realise so have to get number 41 bus any will get yoh from here to the city. Eveeytime used my card got charged 3.5 percent bank charges so advisable to get a travel card beforehand. I didnt pay the hotel before I arrives so was charged extra 8 pounds more. So be advised pay before you go here ita in Euros so bank charges the bank charges here. Visa terrible for this.
• Margaret (6/5): Won’t be in a rush to go back - Manager very kindly upgraded us to a suite, due to problems with our shower. When we arrived at reception, there was a smell of faeces, permeating the lobby area. I overheard an international guest pointing same problem out. Shower in our bathroom, was absolutely pathetic. Worst, in fact, I’ve had, in any hotel, I’ve ever stayed in. I left my pyjamas in the room by mistake, as we were quickly changing rooms but they disappeared, never to be found and I never got them back? The hotel is very tired in places to be honest. One of the female bar staff shouldn’t be working with the public, she thought it perfectly acceptable to throw sachets of hand wipes onto our table after we had the audacity to request finger bowls for our chicken wings! Anyhow, the manager was a lovely lady who carried out her responsibilities with professionalism.

• Maëva (4/5): Moyen - Une heure à pied du centre-ville, arrêt de bus juste à côté grande chambre Chauffage fonctionnel Pour un prix aussi élevé, le petit déjeuner doit être compris, il y a une baignoire super, par contre les robinets ne fonctionnent pas juste le pommeau et avant que l’eau ne touche le fond de la baignoire c’est froid. Chasse des toilettes cassées, j’ai dû lever le couvercle et triturer. Pour trouver le spa, il faut être explorateur. Je n’ai jamais vu un hôtel quatre étoiles qui ne propose pas de maillot de bain à la vente et de bonnets de bain, car même si j’avais eu un maillot, piscine interdit si vous n’avez pas de bonnet et il n’en vendent pas, le hammam et le sauna, je ne sais toujours pas où ils sont à part une pièce noire déjà fermé

• Stephen (7/5): Nice place, but staff need training on customer service. - The room was very comfortable, except for the hand basin in the bathroom (see the next section). The TV was a good size for the room size. The cleaning staff were very polite and friendly. The tap on the hand basin in the bathroom let the water out so close to the back of the basin and at such a height that every time we tried to wash our hands the water splashed all over the area around the basin. Also the water in the basin drained very, very slowly, so once you had used it for one thing, you had to wait an age before you could use it again for something else. The worst thing about the hotel were the staff in the breakfast room. They were curt, unfriendly and, on one occasion, rude. After booking in for breakfast, my wife realised she had left something in the room and went to fetch it. When she returned, she walked back in to the breakfast room to our table, which was close to the entrance, and the woman that had booked us in not four minutes earlier, called to my wife, saying, "OI! Where do you think you're going?". In a four star hotel of this type I would expect a much more polite query than "OI".

• Rita (8/5): No geral uma muito boa estadia! - O quarto era muito bom! Grande e quentinho. As almofadas e o colchão eram bastante confortáveis. A piscina e o jacuzzi ajudaram imenso depois das muitas caminhadas (muito bom!) A comida do Croft era bastante boa. Tínhamos uma paragem de autocarro bastante perto que nos levava ao centro de Dublin. Os funcionários poderiam ser um pouco mais simpáticos (recepção). Faltam esperguiçadeiras na piscina (só há 4).

• Barral (8/5): - The staff very very pleasant and professional ,despite some guests from a large wedding being very rude and impatient. There was very limited car parking at the hotel, other guests were abandoning their cars making it very difficult to get on or off the hotel grounds, we were directed to an overflow car park around a 7 minute walk away which wasn't ideal. I also asked for a twin room and I was given a double room,sharing a bed with my 80 year old mother was not ideal.

• Daniel (7/5): Not bad. Could be better. Completely overpriced. - Bed extremely comfortable. Room was a good size. Good location for where I needed to be. Shop and pub next door. Pleasant staff. Hotel looks rough from the outside. Could do with being freshened up. Hallway carpet and doors appear old and worn. Heating not working in the room. Although I like a cooler room, I checked the radiator knob and found it broken off lying on the floor. When I reconnected it, I turned the heating on but it never came on in the morning. Towel racks were hot in the bathroom but room radiator was cold. Didn’t bother me too much but for the price I paid for the room with no breakfast included I thought it was poor. €218 for a one night stay with no breakfast included is expensive. Very limited parking around the hotel. Only a few spaces. You would need to be lucky to find a space.

• Hydranger (7/5): Traditional hotel with great staff. - Big comfortable rooms and good value for location if you're heading into the City. Nearby bus routes a few minutes walk away. It's a large hotel and I couldn't fault any of the staff who were excellent. Restaurant meal was very good. Buffet breakfast was ok but not great. Bathroom was a bit dated and definitely in need of some maintenance...but it was functional. If you're arriving with your car bear in mind that parking is very limited for such a large hotel so getting a space is a challenge.

Difficult to find staff, no one seems to be around, asked for a pot of tea at reception was sent to the restaurant, restaurant sent me to the bar, no one in the bar! The tea room doesn’t see to be a tea room

• David (8/5): Thank you for going out of the way to secure our motorcycles. - On arrival the receptionist was able to amend our booking which was done with no fuss. Our motorcycles were parked away in a secure location which was fantastic. The staff made this happen as bike theft in Dublin seems to be a big problem, so massive thank you for helping us out. All in all a pleasant stay. Nothing negative about our stay.

• David (10/5): Great place to stay! Love the pool and sauna. - This place was great! A perfect way to end our trip to Ireland. I used to live in Cork and I know class when I see it. Breakfast Buffet was vast and more varied than most hotels in Ireland. Only thing needed is more parking. Hard to do much about that.

• Anne (7/5): Enjoyed the visit to this hotel. - Very nice traditional breakfast. Nice bed. Comfortable room. In the early hours of Friday morning there were some loud people in the corridor. Lack of doap in the dispenser. Reception had to be contacted regarding: stain on the duvet cover; handle on the door came away; radiator temperature could not be turned down. These issues were resolved.
