• Rachel (10/5): Highly recommend Rimon Residence. Not fancy, but spacious and clean and great for kosher travelers. - Location was great, apartment was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Great for a kosher guest - there were options to separate the beds, the fridge lights were already unplugged, and there were tealights in a cabinet for shabbat. Apartment also had a physical key which is great for shabbat. I loved that there were umbrellas - it was super helpful in the rain. We paid extra for the breakfast at Rimon Place and were very happy with it.

Duży plus, że w dniu wyjazdu można zostawić bagaż na recepcji. Ogólnie pobyt bardzo udany. Mogę doradzić obsłudze żeby wymieniła sofę w salonie. Nie nadawała się nawet do siedzenia.

Bardzo duże pokoje z dużymi łóżkami i wygodnymi materacami. Czystość w każdym pomieszczeniu. Komfort wielu pokoi oraz dwóch łazienek. Widok na ryneczek. Pod hotelem restauracja. Klimatyczna dzielnica żydowska. Tego oczekiwaliśmy w czasie Wielkanocy w Wenecji. PS. super szybkie WiFi. Uszkodzony kran w kuchni.

Very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again The 2nd bathroom was unusable, smelled terrible. They claim to be fixing it. If you're staying with 2 couples or a large family, you would want to check this out before booking. There are A LOT of steep steps, so if you're carrying suitcases, expect a challenge

• Olga (3/5): Shabby building, AC was black with dirt; faulty shower drain - Staff promptly reacted when we reported issue with hot water. The apartment is located in a shabby building located outside of the nice-looking Rimon Place hotel (the reception desk is the same though), so don't be surprised if you google for Rimon and it's looking great - this is probably Rimon Place, not Rimon Residence. Cleanliness was below standard (the AC was literally black with dirt). We had to call the staff to fix issue with hot water and when they were leaving the apartment, the door handle fell off and they just ignored it.

• Tzemach (6/5): - Nice and kind employees, the apartment is fully equipped for Jewish people. We came in Friday to do the shabat in Venice, the hotel didn't gave us the opportunity to stay in the apartment til the end of shabat.

• Lorline (6/5): Pratique pour une famille - L’appartement est assez grand et il y a deux salles de bain avec deux toilettes. L’emplacement de l’appartement est pratique pour ceux qui souhaitent etre excentre ou avoir accès aux restaurant casher. Il y a la climatisation. La personne de l’accueil de la Résidence est très agréable et joviale. Les lits et les coussins sont inconfortables, la cuisine n’est pas casher il faut bien penser à ramener les casseroles etc… La personne qui nous parle via WhatsApp pour les éventuelles questions n’est pas la même que la personne de l’accueil, et cette personne n’a pas la notion du service client, ni bonjour ni merci ni au revoir…redemande la taxe de séjour même si elle a déjà été payé le premier jour…cela gâche l’image du séjour sur place.

• Herschel (9/5): Perfect for our large family ! - Great ac in every room, Perfect for a large family who wants to be near synagogues , Convention check in. Many many steps to get upstairs so if you have a hard time carrying your stuff then this is not for you. We were fine.
• Miriam (1/5): STAY AWAY! - Nothing. We booked two suites and got two apartments a 5 minute walk from each other. We had been told the suites were next to each other. Traveling with a family including grandparents and kids it was not workable to have to walk to another building. And with only one key for each apartment there was no way to get in once one group had already entered. One apartment smelled of sewage and the other was a fourth floor walk up with no elevator that was only accessible through the courtyard of a restaurant (and not a kosher one). Some of the beds didn’t have sheets or towels and there was no staff available to help. When we tried to reach the property manager we were ignored. When we went to the Rimon Hotel to ask for help we were told to come back the next day. The apartments were sparse to say the least. More like empty apartments they hastily threw some cheap furniture into and the name Melissa stenciled onto the wall… because, you know, if it’s written in cursive it makes it fancy. With no one to speak with, not enough sheets, bathroom doors that didn’t close, and the family split between distant apartments we simply could not make this work. We lugged our stuff down the four flights of stairs and went to an actual hotel and Rimon refused to refund us anything.

Francesca tried to help with what she could We booked 2 apartments and it was not clear at the time of booking that the hotel is under restoration, so the apartments were not in the same building. In addition one of the apartments had an issue with the shower so that also affected our experience

• Joachim (1/5): Bad - I booked a three bedroom superior apartment suitable for three couples at the address (Campo del Ghetto Nuovo 2874 Cannaregio, Cannaregio, 30121 Venice, Italy) specified on booking. I was provided with a two private bedroom apartment at a different address. The apartment was also very low level. Overall this is a scam and I advise against booking this property. I also advise booking to ensure that this property stops lying about the location of the apartments - i.e., it should be discolsed to the client that apartment are not located in the main hotel compound.

• Victoria (9/5): Perfect place to stay if you want al lighter, larger, more airy room than most in Venice - Lovely spacious room, airy and in a clean modern style, and excellent value for money for Venice. In a quieter less touristy but beautiful part of Venice. On a very nice small piazza and was an easy walk from the train station.

• Mike (2/5): Lovely place but absolutely make sure you’re not in a room next to the lift on a weekend! - The room was lovely Very clean, lovely view. First night (Thursday) was wonderful. I have to say this and I also expect that in any other rooms other than those next to the lift, it would be excellent any night of the week and my review would be very good. However, on the second night (Friday) the property puts its elevator into automatic mode for Sabbath reasons to avoid Jewish customers from having to press buttons. This means the lift constantly, repetitively and more important very noisily creaks and groans as it goes up and down stopping at each floor for a few seconds ALL night. If your room is right next to the elevator like ours was, that’s a big problem and we didn’t sleep at all. The hotel is unstaffed at night so nothing could be done. If this was a busy hotel I could understand but most guests would be back in rooms by midnight so making a lift go up and down stopping at every floor for the entire duration of the night is ridiculous and unnecessary. At well over 300 euro per night for the worst night I’ve had in any hotel anywhere is frustrating especially as it could be avoided. If you’re staying here on a Friday, make sure you don’t get a room next to the lift!

• Michael (5/5): Sticky! - Location is good, staff are nice. The air con in the rooms (all rooms!) doesn’t work properly and the heat is almost unbearable. Shared experience from our entire group (8 rooms). Breakfast is very basic and overpriced at €20
• Sacha (1/5): Avoid dealing with this hotel - - We were beyond disappointed by our experience here. Based on the listing photos, we had booked a bright and spacious superior apartment with wooden trims, a modern bathroom with large walk-in shower, a large kitchen to prepare and eat meals, and nice common spaces for relaxing in. What we received didn’t even come close to this. Our group of six was split up, with four of us being housed in a totally different building 5 minutes walk away. Our apartment was dark, with low ceilings, non-functional elements in the kitchen (so we couldn’t even prepare coffee), small dated bathrooms, and much smaller bedrooms than pictured with our booking listing. The staff had cordoned off and tried to conceal from us a room that contained a serious water leak (hence why our group was split up). The room looked like a rubbish tip inside and had the windows open, presenting a security risk. But the worst part was trying to deal with this situation on our vacation and the reaction of the hotel. The receptionists were unapologetic and unwilling to assist us. The hotel manager completely refused to engage — hanging up the phone on both us and Booking.com when their Customer Service Team tried to intervene. To this day the hotel has refused to compensate us for the difference in price between the apartment we booked and received. It’s disappointing that Booking.Com continues to list and partner with this dishonest property.
• Karol (5/5): Hotel in a good location and good staff. Basic room and facilities. - It was close to the train station so we did not have to worry about water taxis or a vaporetto. It was also off the main canal so nice and quiet. The staff directed us to awesome restaurants where the locals eat. If you don’t mind walking you can get to St Mark’s in about 25 min. We were on a budget so we were ok with a no frills place. It fit our needs.

One day before arriving we received a message this room we can't provide you with 2 Single beds. I emailed them back that under booking.com chat we received the conformation. On the way to Venice we received the Conformation they prepared us a room with 2 single beds. On Booking.com it has to be more clearer which rooms can provide with 2 single beds! Would go back again!!!!

• Alberto (6/5): Alright location, but weird stay - Handy location, not too far from the train station (but pretty fair from attractions like Arsenale or Giardini) We were given at first a dirty room, that hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest stay. The staff immediately gave us a new room, but nonetheless it is something I have never experienced. The new room was alright, but the standard of cleanness were quite low/poor

• Reka (8/5): A great place to stay in Venice for a good price with a touch of Jewish culture and history - The location right on a canal, away from the crowds close to the train station and at a historic quarter was excellent. The staff were helpful and kind, the view was beautiful, everything was very clean and the a/c was great. The door was thin and the sounds from the hallway got through. The entrance door downstairs was difficult to open at night.

• Faye (10/5): Comfortable - We paid extra for the breakfast but it was worth it. The pastries were delicious, the staff was very attentive to our needs, and the food was very fresh. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed staying in the Jewish Ghetto area. It was close to everything but you didn't feel the crowds. I liked everything. The air conditioning was set automatically and was a good temperature. It wasn't very cold but to our liking. If you were too hot I saw that the hotel provided an extra fan.

• Judith (6/5): Dissapointing! - The property was clean and in a quiet area which was accessible to all of Venice. The shower was good. Breakfast was good. Disappointingly on arrival our booked ‘Deluxe Family Room’ was swapped for 2 rooms (a triple and a double) The receptionist was pleasant enough and explained due to maintenance we were not able to have the room booked. Why we were only told this on arrival was most upsetting as it meant our children and us would be separated. The receptionist assured us the rooms were next to each other. However, when we got to the rooms, they were not together. Following my husband asking if there is anything they could do the hotel did give us breakfast FOC in recompense for this which we were grateful for. A couple of other issues need to be mentioned- One of the beds was broken and the toilet seat. We alerted the reception staff to these issues and despite telling us that maintenance would take a look, the issues were not resolved during our stay. The space to use the toilet was also very tight and not comfortable at all. I’m sorry but we would not recommend nor revisit this hotel.
• Avraham (8/5): Wonderful! - We wanted to be in the Ghetto, so it was perfect. Near Chabad for tefilla and kosher food - just perfect. For a senior couple with suitcases its not ideal as its a fair walk from the water bus over bridges.
