• Ilka-Sophie (9/5): The best location for a clean and affordable hotel! Awesome staff!! - Great location. We stayed for the 8th time. The underground is 2minutes away on foot and you can reach any central location in 20-30minutes. On the street you can find a pret a manger, sushi self service, a 24h shop, cafe’s and a supermarket so it is perfect to get yourself anything you might need. Staff was absolutely wonderful again. When I needed a fresh towel they were so fast that is was at the room faster than I was able to go back to the third floor! Its always super clean and tidy in the hotel and rooms. Even hair dryer is supplied. We were accommodated at the ground floor first but the underground was so loud that we asked for another room and they changed us to the 3rd floor and brought our luggage up while we were out in town. Absolutely lovely!!

Public transport is superb easy It is just that the room a bit too small and the transparent toilet is not suitable if I bring families

• Ameer (1/5): - The room was very disappointing. The bedroom was extremely small compared to what was shown in the pthe photos made it look much bigger. Also, the 4.5-star rating feels misleading because the actual experience was closer to a 2-star hotel. For the price paid, the facilities and overall quality did not meet expectations at all. I would not recommend this place if you expect the same standard shown in the listing.

• va (1/5): Skulle inte rekommendera eller bo där igen. Det enda plus är läget men det finns andra hotell nära. - Frukosten var definitivt inte värd pengarna (ca €15) . Lever inte upp till en normal standard på hotellfrukost utan påminner om en frukost på ett flygplan. Bakverk och bröd kändes inte färska, ingen bacon eller ägg fanns och varken kaffet eller juicen var goda. Sunkigt helt enkelt. Vi gick istället runt hörnet och satte oss på ett fik för frukost resten av vistelsen. Rummet var jättelitet och det var princip en våningssäng i ett tiny house-inspirerat rum med jättebrant stege upp till säng 2. Så inte barnvänligt alls eller om du har äldre familjemedlemmar eller rörelsehinder. Inget kylskåp heller så dricksvattnet var rumsvarmt och det var jättedålig ventilation i rummet. Det blev jättevarmt i rummet om man inte hade AC:n på hela natten (fastän det var 15 grader max utomhus). Inga av fönstren gick att öppna och de hade installerats över gamla fönster som var jättesmutsiga och fulla av mögel(!) därbakom som inte gick att städa ur, så det gick knappt att se ut över gatan (dvs noll utsikt) heller. Toaletten hade ingen riktig dörr bara en glaspanel med trasig privacy-film så ingen privacy alls! Den gick först inte ens att stänga utan en personal fick komma och fixa det under vistelsen. Det fanns inga individuella sänglampor och lampknappen till toaletten tändes vid säng 1 vilket var jättemärkligt.

Pas de kit de salle de bain, quelques sachets de café soluble sans goût et la ventilation qui tourne sans interruption, donc nuit très bruyante.

Situation géographique un petit peu excentrée mais tout à fait accessible, même à pied. Chambre au rez de chaussée, la chambre en soi est très agréable mais le bruit de métro qui passe sous la chambre était assez embêtant.

The cheese & wine is a superb bonus (not that you're not paying for it) as is the tea and coffee always being available. Price is obviously extortionate. Even a tiny fridge would be helpful. Room with no windows - fine for what I needed (to sleep) but feels like a cell or a boat, which for that price...

• Quintana (7/5): I had almost everything i need. - I know the neighborhood because i use to live very closse to this hotel. Perfect location. The center of London is not far, you can get it by walking if you want. Perfect connections with everything in London and you have the vibrant environment of shoreditch and the quietness of hoxton. A lot of things to see and to do in this area. The Z hotel was perfect in location, the staff was very professional and friendly as well, anytime i need them. And in my dates the price was very good because the room was very comfortable and well clean. When I made the reservation, I requested a room with a bathtub instead of a shower, since I have mobility issues with my shoulder and it’s more comfortable for me not to have to stand. But in the end, I was assigned a room with a shower.

• Andrea (10/5): - Odlična povezanost hotel i centra - ispred su autobusna stanica i stanica podzemne željeznice. King's Cross udaljen 2 metro stanice. Uslužno osoblje i doručak. Klima u sobi radi izvrsno. Krevet i posteljina čisti i udobni. Nedodatatak zraka jer se prozor ne može otvoriti. Nedovoljno prostora za odlaganje odjeće, ne postoji nikakav ormar ili polica. Soba je jako mala.

• Rosalien (8/5): Pleasant experience! - Room without a window allowed us to find some peace and tranquility in an otherwise very busy and loud city. Dark and silent, very happy with it ... Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They stored our luggage when we arrived in the morning and when we returned to the hotel to check in our bags were even already in our room. The room is very small, with not a lot of place to store luggage. But it is advertised as such, so it was expected 🤗.

• Philippa (5/5): Fine. - The property was well located and the lobby was airy and welcoming. My room was a bit tired and I think could do with a bit of updating. I hadn’t noticed that I’d booked a room with no windows so when I went down to the basement, it felt a little enclosed, especially for such a small room. The size was absolutely fine for what I needed. Small and compact for one night but it’s basic. One big gripe I had with the bar- I came in quite a bit later than I was expecting and so hadn’t eaten. The bar said it was still serving food and so I ordered what I’d expected to be something light- chicken goujons and potato wedges. I wasn’t expecting to watch the staff get the food out of the freezer and air fry in front of me. Even if that’s what usually happens, i firstly dont want to see it, then secondly, get charged £16+ for it. It was pretty grim and the second I saw it being brought over, I instantly regretted my order.

• Stephen (6/5): Reckon I would try somewhere else another time - Reception staff good. Location convenient for Old Street tube station 1. Lack of place to hang clothes 2. The London Underground was just below the room with trins waking me up as soon a the Northern Line started early morning. 3. I had 2 bookings for consecutive nights and although the same room had been agreed - which would save staff cleaning the message didn't get through to reception who in the end had to allocate a disabled room
