• Craig (7/5): Great location I would stay here again. - Location was great, staff was pleasant and helpful The room had a toilet across the hall from hat you had to leave the room to use through a shared hallway which was not ideal in the middle of the night but probably the reason the room was cheaper.

• Chelsea (10/5): Excellent Stay - Excellent location, just minutes walk away from Munich Old Town. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. Restaurant/bar downstairs was very good, and an easy option for breakfast or a drink. No elevator but was advised in advance and given the option of ground level if we notified the property, however it didn’t worry us as we had backpacks.
• Terri Randall (10/5): Nicely decorated rooms, good location & friendly staff - This hotel was very nice. Room decor and especially the stairs leading up to it were decorated nicely. Great location, walkable to many attractions. The staff was courteous & friendly. Our room was large and comfortable. There were places to store both hung clothes and luggage. Although the bar/dining area was very crowded in the evenings, no noise from the crowd was heard in our 3rd floor room facing the street and outside seating area. They also supplied extra toiletries, including ear plugs if you needed them, in a little basket at the bottom of the stairs. Breakfast was ordered from a limited menu but was great every day. This hotel has a church close by but if the windows were closed, there was not any noise from the bells. They also supplied fans for use in the room as there isn't any air conditioning. We didn't mind this but there is not any elevator which could be important to other travelers or anyone that is handicapped. Although they offered to bring our luggage up the 4 flights of stairs, we declined and took our own, so maybe someone who needs help could stay here or be on a lower level floor.
• Ariane (7/5): Insgesamt schönes Hotel, die Zimmerausstattung muss vor der Buchung genau kontrolliert werden. - Die Lage ist sehr schön. Die Bar hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück fand ich ok, nichts besonderes und sehr kleine Auswahl aus 3 Varianten auf Bestellung. Das Hotel ist allgemein sehr gemütlich und stillvoll eingerichtet. Auch im Zimmer war innen schön eingerichtet und es war sauber. Der Ausblick auf den Innenhof ist echt hässlich. Außerdem hat es sich so angehört, dass man immer wieder die leeren Glasflaschen in den Container reinschmeißt oder andere laute Tätigkeiten ausführt. Morgens war es auch laut im Flur und draußen, davon bin ich vor 8 Uhr wach geworden. Was mir aber absolut nicht gefallen hat, das ist die Toilette außerhalb des Zimmers!!! Vielleicht habe ich einen Fehler gemacht und so ein Zimmer gebucht, ich habe nicht jedes Wort bei der Buchung durchgelesen. Das geht aber nicht. Warum vermietet man überhaupt solche Zimmer? Und dann fehlt noch ein Bademandel, so dass man kurz vor die Tür gehen kann. Vor allem nachts! Ich wusste nicht, dass ich im 21 JH noch das Vorhandensein einer Toilette im Zimmer bei der Buchung überprüfen muss.

• Constanze (8/5): Wirklich sehr guter Aufenthalt - Tolle Lage um München für ein paar Tage zu besuchen. Mitarbeiter:innen sehr zugewandt. Frühstück à la carte wirklich ausreichend und lecker. Bad "etwas in die Jahre gekommen" :) aber auch nicht dramatisch.
• Ali (7/5): - The location was so close to the center, it is literally 10 minutes walking from any where within the center. The best thing about the hotel was the location. The bathroom was so small, and they lack of water bidet sprayer. Also they don’t provide disposable hand paper towels.

• Larissa Jarschel (10/5): - Localização excelente. Tudo pode ser feito a pé. Limpeza muito boa do hotel e do quarto. O único ponto a se pensar é que nao possui elevador, então se tiver com muitas malas terá que super as escadas, no entanto os funcionários sempre estão de prontidão para auxiliar.

Sehr nettes Personal, für einen Kurztrip alles was man braucht. Bei offenen Fenster etwas laut aber das war uns im voraus bekannt

Frühstücksmenu: Das Joguhrt mit Granola und Früchten hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Leider kein Lift. Kann man auch als Gratisfitnessangebot ansehen... Kein Frühstücksbuffet, aber gute Frühstückmenus (siehe oben).

• Kerri (9/5): Loved our stay at Hotel Lux - Location was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Nespresso coffee in the room was enjoyed. Loved the heritage stair case. Atmosphere of the bar. Though fans provided, no air conditioning makes it stuffy at night.

• Daniel (9/5): - The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to be in the center of the Old District. It is a tiny hotel/bar/restaurant with a small but dedicated and amazing staff who will assist and advise you if you are a newcomer. The downstairs bar is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a sophisticated drinking experience, with custom cocktails crafted at the highest levels, and upscale gourmet appetizers on the menu to enhance the experience. Breakfasts in the mornings were excellent. John and Yassim were attentive to a fault and accommodated our every request, and provided great tips for touring the area of foot. If you are driving, there is a parking lot 1 block away that charges at this time (4/26) 30€ a day, no in-out privileges. The hotel does not have an elevator and be prepared to walk up some flights of stairs if your room is above the ground floor. The circular staircase can funnel a bit of noise from the bar to the rooms when the patrons get enthusiastic, but for us it was not enough to be distracting. Our room was adequate with a small bathroom that could have used some love on the funky shower door. The bed was comfortable. Overall our stay was an excellent one and I would definitely return. Recommended, if you can navigate a stairwell.

• Xavier (8/5): Relax, place à l'imaginaire! - Accueil atypique dans le bar au bas du restaurant, un peu comme dans une pension dans une ancienne époque. Mais très sympa. Anna et Yacine se plient en quatre pour rendre le séjour agréable, très accueillants et souriants. La chambre comprend le nécessaire pour un séjour de tourisme. Escalier exceptionnel et poétique. Pas de table et chaise dans la chambre, mais le bar à très bien remplacé le matin. Ventilateur de salle de bains bruyant.

• MARINA (10/5): Однозначно рекомендую всем этот отель! - Размещение в отеле превзошло наше ожидание! Отличный отель в самом сердце старого города. Отличный вкусный завтрак, приготовленный для вас, такой же отличный кофе. Великолепный бар, где вам приготовят лучшие коктейли. В номере, также все было чисто, хрустящее постельное белье и свежие полотенца. Однозначно, рекомендую всем этот отель! Нет такого.

• Beridze (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Lux Hotel in Munich. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient to explore nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived late for check-in, and it was a unique and pleasant experience entering through the restaurant next door, which is directly connected to the hotel. The restaurant itself was also very nice, with a great atmosphere. I really loved the style of the rooms—they felt modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Housekeeping was consistent, and the rooms were cleaned daily, which we appreciated. The only small downside was the lack of a kettle for hot water. Since I was traveling with a baby, having one in the room would have been very helpful. That said, there is a coffee machine available, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location, design, and friendly service.
