The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was individually served to hotel guests....and there were many other customers coming in for coffee and breakfast...so I understand why they don't offer a traditional Italian hotel breakfast buffet.... Every thing was wonderful! Nothing...it was a wonderful stay!

Avrebbe bisogno di essere ammodernato un pò: i mobili sono un pò datati e mancano prese USB o C. Inoltre la colazione non è servita a buffet ma con una piccola lista senza troppa scelta rispetto alle strutture della stessa categoria.

• Giulia (4/5): Unico aspetto positivo la posizione e il panorama - Unica nota positiva la posizione. Abbiamo soggiornato io e il mio compagno per la notte di capodanno. Sono diverse le cose che non ci sono piaciute: - Inanzitutto gia prima della prenotazione si sono dimostrati approssimativi e lavativi perche’ abbiamo chiamato piu volte l’hotel per sapere se e a che ora avessero fatto i fuochi d’ artificio a castel dell’ ovo per la notte di capodanno visto che venivamo appositamente e sceglievamo a tal proposito questa struttura. Ci hanno risposto che loro non lo sapevano. Un hotel con una posizione del genere devono assolutamente saper fornire queste informazioni ai propri ospiti. Hotel di fronte ci hanno saputo invece dare informazioni molto dettagliate. - hanno tentato di darci una camera con una posizione diversa rispetto a quella scelta in base alle foto inserite nella descrizione della camera da selezionare. La risposta di una signora alla reception, in maniera arrogante e maleducata, e’ stata che le foto sono simboliche e che non potevano fare foto per ogni stanza e che comunque ormai quella che intendevamo noi era gia stata occupata, cosa non vera perche’ poi un suo collega, fortunatamente più professionale e’ stato onesto e gentile e ci ha fatto fare il cambio camera spostandoci nell’ altra. Dato il prezzo pagato ( ben 340 euro) ci aspettiamo che la vista che scegliamo sia quella mostrata, e non una diversa, soprattutto la notte di capodanno dove la posizione e il panorama fanno la differenza. Avevamo scelto e deciso di spendere quella cifra proprio per quel determinato panorama. La colazione davvero pessima. Ci aspettavamo un’ abbondante colazione a buffet e invece ci hanno portato al tavolo due toast con prosciutto cotto e formaggio. Non era possibile senza formaggio perche già evidentemente preconfezionati. E se io fossi allergica ai latticini? Spremuta d’ arancia con pezzi dentro, quindi nemmeno filtrata e brioche industriale solo vuota, decongelata a microonde e scaldata al momento, servita gommosa.

• Matteo (10/5): UNA GARANZIA! - Soggiorno sempre al Transatlantico quando viaggio per lavoro a Napoli. Semplicemente una GARANZIA! Camera meravigliosa, super spaziosa,pulita e con vista impareggiabile. Solo se ci vai capisci perché si chiama Transatlantico, sembra davvero di dormire sununa barca grazie alla via vista. Colazione ottima, alla carta, rutto freschissimo, e personale molto molto disponibile. Vogliamo parlare della location? Borgo marinari è l'angolo più tranquillo e piacevole di Napoli, zero auto,zero casiamo, ma con locali e ristoranti a portata di mano. Non vedo l'ora di tornare!

Camera confortevole, spaziosa, luminosa e panoramica. Pulizia buona. L'accesso in auto è reso un po' difficoltoso dalla posizione dell'albergo (sull'isoletta di Castel dell'Ovo), ulteriormente complicata da lavori in corso sul lungomare. Comunque i taxi arrivano subito perché c'é una stazione vicinissima. Colazione piuttosto limitata, non paragonabile alle colazioni disponibili altrove. Viene fornita dal bar annesso alla struttura. In passato era molto più varia ed abbondante. Comprensibile per il ridotto numero di camere, ma fortemente limitante per chi vuole colazione varia ed abbondante.

• Yuriko (10/5): - El hotel tiene una ubicacion fantastica con unas vistas al mar y al Vesuvio realmente espectaculares, de ensueño. La zona es execelente, al lado el Castillo de Huevo, bares y restaurantes y toda una zona hotelera de primera categoria muy cerca al paseo maritimo. La habitacion grandisima con unas ventanas amplias qye permitian disfrutar de las vistas. La cama muy comoda y el baño amplio y con todo lo necesario para la estancia. El restaurante en el primer piso permiten continuar disfrutando del panorama tan hermoso, todo de lujo. El desayuno para nosotros fue de calidad y lo justo, puedes beber lo que se te antoje y acompañarlo con una tostada de queso y prosciutto o un delicioso cornetto.El restaurante sirve platos con mucha variedad y todo exquisito. . El personal muy amable y atento , tanto en la cena como en el desayuno fue el personal un diez. Conseguimos un precio buenisimo en noviembre asi que en caidad y precio supero nuestras expectativas. Deseamos volver sin duda! Realmente nuestra estancia fue increible pero aunque el joven de recepcion fue muy amable al recibirnos el primer dia , le pedi ayuda con la caja de seguridad , me respondio que enviaria a alguien y nadie llego. Lo escribo porque la accion de una persona puede empañar el trabajo de otros aunque en este caso no fue asi porque quedamos muy satisfechos en nuestra estancia y con la atencion que recibimos sobre todo de Mario tantoen el desayuno como al despedirnos.

Vista ottima sul mare e sul Vesuvio in lontananza. Posizione ottima vicinissima al centro. illuminazione stanza. Camera troppo piccola. bidet e water troppo, troppo piccoli!!!

• Cath (8/5): Location, location, location - The location is second to none. The view of the water, the boats and Mt Vesuvius was something we never got bored of and being based on the little island made the location feel exclusive. This is more of a restaurant with rooms, rather than a hotel, so the front desk was never staffed. However, any of the restaurant team were happy to help and track down the person with the best English to check you in, book taxis etc. They were super helpful. The pastries at breakfast were divine - I'm only gutted we only discovered them on the last day! The bathroom in room 104 could do with some attention - the shower head wouldn't stay up and the soap tray was wonky so you couldn't put shampoo, soap etc. on it. We stayed at the start and end of our trip and the restaurant was much busier on the second occasion which made sleeping before midnight a bit of a challenge as the noise travelled up to the rooms above (we were only going to bed early because of an early flight).

The view overlooking the harbor are stunning and the breakfast is really delicious and my favorite in all our travels in Italy. The only downsize is that the rooms are small and bathroom is not that modern or comfy. The staff is super nice and the restaurant downstairs has delicious food. Overall a must stay place Room old and with old bathroom.

The room had a full wall window immediately at the water edge, we fuond it difficult to leave. First floor room with a view directly on the marina / ocean / Island of Caprice. Room was above the restaurant... with windows closed ... miracle... no noise!. Great restaurants literally next door. 15 minute walk to a good shopping area. Walk / run along the ocean. Stop for pizza. Who could ask for more?
• Diane (9/5): Great location - The location is great - it's away from the madness of Naples and overlooking a marina with a great view of Mount Vesuvius. Our room was a good size and very clean. The table service for breakfast instead of a buffet was a nice surprise and it was delicious too. Great value for money in comparison to another stay we had in Naples. Watch the shelf above the bed head - it's easy to misjudge it and hit your head (as I did!).

• Janette (10/5): A stunning hotel with beautiful views - The staircase and reception area are lovely, We were given help to take our suitcases up to the room -we had a stunning view from our suite overlooking the marina and Vesuvius. The room was very spacious and the air conditioning very welcoming! We would definitely stay again. Not being able to sit at our chosen table before 7pm - I would have preferred to sit outside admiring the view until it was time to order rather than having to sit in the warm bar area. Also the headboard shelf is a safety hazard.

The owner could not have been more helpful before and during our stay, arranging everything we needed, including very early morning breakfast bags and taxis as we headed to Naples Airport at 5.30am. Nothing. Value for money.

We experienced a really awkward situation in which 2 people from the restaurant were having a heated discussion. We really think that kind of problems should be solved behind the scenes.

• Phil (8/5): Other than the bed being uncomfortable very good i would recommend - Beautiful location, beat my expectations. Room design enhanced a truly fantastic view. Minor shortcomings Bed was not a double but 2 singles pushed together with the uncomfortable join /gap noticeable in the night. Mattresses protected by rubber covers which is understandable but the rubber can be felt through a thin bed sheet . A mattress topper would easily solve these issues and make the bed much more comfortable.
