Guest Reviews
- Jonny (2/5): Not good - Like many others have written, this is not a relaxing place. Their main business is to organize parties, which is at the expense of hotel guests who want a good night's sleep. Unfortunately.
The environment is beautiful, but that's all.
Extremely poor service even by Albanian standards.
Small problems with the room that they try to avoid fixing.
Stupidly stingy with small things like you can only get a small cup of coffee in an included breakfast. If you want a refill on coffee or more then a small dish from the breakfast menu you are charged extra.
Extremely ignorant and rude staff. Negatively surprising that they only have white and red wine from bag in box if you want a glass of wine and not a whole bottle. You are lucky if you even get a wine glass.
Unfortunately, this place does not meet the main criteria for being called a hotel, that you as a guest should be able to get a night's undisturbed sleep. On top of this, they have staff who are ignorant, rude and Foolishly frugal.
unfortunately I therefore have to urge people to avoid this place.
- Xhulio (10/5): - Fantastic
- Joanne (2/5): Avoid at all costs, hotel guests not treated well - Worst hotel we stayed in across our 2 week trip.
Our relaxing spa hotel for our last 2 nights was ruined by the hotel putting on a gig that lasted till 3am that blasted sound across the neighbourhood which we were not aware of at booking or at check in.
We tried to go with the flow as they'd removed all the sunbeds from around the pool so we couldn't relax. We got rejected for dinner as we hadn't booked their $60 euro event dinner. We tried to buy a bottle of wine only to be told we couldn't as we werent hotel guests then after an arguement with manager got served a warm £90 bottle as theyd put on a special event menu only and ice buckets were only for those guests.
The place was overrun with cars , so your guaranteed parking meant nothing. The event finished around 12:30am , guest all piled out and the staff started to take down the stage. Only to find the loud music continued. At 2am I eventually went down in my PJs to reception and asked for the manager, Matilda. I said we are paying guests, there are no guests outside bar your security guards why is the music still on we are all trying to sleep. She 'apologised' loosely said she would text and sort. I said I want the music off. Returned to bed to find she'd just got it turned down. It eventually turned off at 2:52.
We were awoken at 7:30am to yelling workers rearranging the pool area. This went on till nearly 1pm with no sunbeds till 11am.
Staff were rude and treated guests lower than locals. No customer service
- Arnór (10/5): Worth a visit - We stayed there for 3 nights and highly recommend.
We did the wine tour with them and if you are staying I think it's a must try!
We were also given the supprise of performance of Aurela Gace on the last night which was amazing experience
- Andrew (2/5): Dangerous for children - Hotel was advertised as family friendly but it certainly was not. We were put in the top floor with a child and there was no lift. Camp bed provided wouldn’t stay up so daughter had to sleep
With us. No children’s menu at all and the ‘playground’ was a fatality waiting to happen. Left after one day of a three night booking.
- Peter (8/5): Great pool getaway - It seemed brand new. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Staff was helpful and positive. One evening we walked to the winyard next door. Otherwise the pool is the main highlight. Unfortunately they did not have the spa working or any treatments
- Heidi (10/5): Great price-quality ratio - The hotel is beautiful as are the rooms. The beds were comfortable. Horse riding in a ring is included in the price. Breakfast is served on a plate, you cannot choose the content but no complaints from me. If you do not want to eat dinner at the hotel, a beautiful vineyard restaurant is within walking distance.
- Danielle (8/5): Comfortable bed and great shower - Clean and comfortable hotel with a lovely pool. Great shower and comfy bed.
Great location to walk to Abaia vineyard where we did wine tasting and had lunch which was delicious.
We had a couple issues with the rooms and the staff were really helpful to try to get the issue resolved. The fridge wasn’t working in our first room so they quickly moved us to an alternative but then the balcony door wouldn’t open in the second room. They ended up giving us access to both rooms.
- Peter (10/5): - Tbh, words are not enough to describe how I felt/Feel about Vinea Resort & Spa
But I happy to say it’s a 10/10 and a worth for your money.
These lots changed my whole perspective about Albanians.
- Liridon (10/5): Wekkend resa - Jätte trevliga personal.
Rent och underbar Hotel
Resturang och frukost 10/10
- Ugur (8/5): I'll come back definetely - Great Staff, always helpful and with a big smile. room quality was average, lot of insects in the room becuase of position (in the middle of a vineyard). Owner and all staff was very kind and gentle
