- Franziska (10/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt - Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Zu unserer großen Freude erhielten wir ein kostenloses Upgrade in eine Suite mit einem bezaubernden Ausblick – ein perfekter Start in unseren Aufenthalt. Das Personal war durchweg äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Besonders gefreut hat uns die liebevolle Geburtstagsüberraschung, die uns aufs Zimmer gebracht wurde – eine wirklich schöne Geste! Die gesamte Anlage beeindruckt zudem mit ihrer Geschichte und versprüht einen authentischen andalusischen Charme – einfach traumhaft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Beim Abendessen hätten die Portionen etwas größer ausfallen dürfen. Geschmacklich war das Essen zwar gut, jedoch wurde man nicht ganz satt. Hier besteht noch Verbesserungspotenzial.

- Paisner (8/5): Luxurious but didn't love the location - Room was luxurious and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't included and was charged at $35 per person, so we skipped it and that was inconvenient. But we found a supermarket nearby with a bakery and made coffee in the room. The bathroom had a sewage smell. It was quite far from the center of town.

- Jacqueline (9/5): Heerlijk in de watten gelegd - Ik heb in een heerlijk bed geslapen. De hotel omgeving is prachtig! Het restaurant verdient extra complimenten. Ik heb heerlijk gegeten Ik had een bar gewaardeerd. Maar je kunt alles bestellen op het terras en de lounge.
- Luther (7/5): Nice place if you shoot the DJ. - This is an excellent property from a physical standpoint. Here is a beautiful courtyard and dining area that overlooks the Mediterranean and the city. It is a really spectacular setting. Our only complaint and it is a serious one is that in the afternoon all the way up and including some of the dinner time, there is a young DJ that is hired to play loud Miami sound type music with a constant beat, no lyrics,. The music is so loud it is difficult to relax and enjoy a conversation with your partners. Additionally, the DJ refused to take the volume down and or change the type of music she was playing. Ironically, this facility does not accept children and we are happy for that but the DJ makes more noise than any child possibly could. We were about to leave one evening because the music was too loud to enjoy dinner. We did not have dinner the second night for that reason. Loud invasive DJ music that prevented us from having a nice relaxed cocktail and dinner on the courtyard area.

Pool ist nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet, nur zum Sitzen. Liegen am Pool durchhängend und ausgeleiert. Empfang kein Willkommensgetränk, hatte Geburtstag, wurde gratuliert, aber nichts mehr. Frühstück kein Buffet, Qualität der Speisen nicht zufriedenstellend.

Unser Zimmer hatte ein, wirklich kleines, Fenster, war am Weg, den das Personal mit seinen Wagen nehmen muss, daher morgens schon recht laut. Gebucht hatten wir unter anderem weil wir unseren Urlaub in einem Hotel mit Pool beschließen wollten. Dieser war aber wenn überhaupt 5x3m groß. Also nicht unbedingt das, was man sich unter einem Außenpool vorstellt.

- Priska (10/5): Ein traumhaftes Castillo mit viel Geschichte und sehr schön eingerichtet. - Die Lage oberhalb gibt eine schöne Aussicht. Man sollte jedoch ein Auto haben. Wir hatten das schönste Zimmer 306 (zwei Zimmer zusammen) mit einer riesigen Terrasse. Das Castillo ist traumhaft schön mit viel Geschichte und sehr fotogen. Super nettes Personal. Das Frühstück wird serviert, kein Buffet. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen!❤️

- Gulnaz (10/5): - The hotel is amazing! Great garden and the views! Beds are super comfy, rooms are spotless clean. the staff prepared a small bday gift which was very sweet. The bathroom is a bit small for two people and the shower was leaking. Breakfast quality could be upgraded and service in the restaurant was a bit slow.
- Frensch (9/5): Romantisch en kleinschalig - Onze verwachtingen waren hooggespannen en werden ook waargemaakt. Het is een romantisch hotel, erg sfeervol en kleinschalig. Het ontbijt was goed en ook over het diner hadden we niets te klagen. Onze verwachtingen werden niet overtroffen. Zo konden we (in tegenstelling tot andere hotels in de regio) onze EV niet gratis laden en was het personeel weliswaar vriendelijk, maar niet overdadig. Kleine details, maar die maken in deze klasse net het verschil.

- sigrid (4/5): prachtig kader maar voor die prijs verwacht je meer dan dat alleen... - de ligging is prachtig en het merendeel van het personeel vriendelijk er liep veel water uit de douche in onze kamer. Dit moet een gekend probleem geweest zijn. Jammer dat ze die kamer voor een stevige prijs toch verhuren. Als oplossing kregen we extra handdoeken om op de grond te leggen ... Het ontbijt was lekker maar het duurde heeel lang voor je de bestellingen kreeg. Het leek dat er te weinig personeel was.

- Christina (10/5): Underbart! - Vackert hotell med fantastisk utsikt och jättebra läge nära både Malaga stad och strand. Frukosten hade allt vi önskade oss och serverades vid bordet. Den lilla poolen låg så fint och var perfekt för oss som ville ta ett kalldopp på våren. Personalen var hjälpsam och vänlig och hög servicenivå. Rummet var vackert, sköna sängar, kaffe, te och vatten på rummet. ALLT var bra. Ville stanna för alltid. Önskar att hotellet har en tydlig policy och informerar gästerna att det inte är OK att "paxa" solsängar med handdukar från kl 6 på morgonen. Det ger en tråkig stämning och passar inte på detta hotellet.

La colazione nel giardino è la cosa che ho apprezzato di più in assoluto Ho avuto un problema con il phon che mi è praticamente scoppiato in mano causandomi una piccola ferita e a parte l’aiuto del momento, dopo mia richiesta di acqua ossigenata e cerotti, non sono stati fatti gesti di cortesia per scusarsi dell’accaduto

- maribelen2017 (6/5): Very disappointing stay – overpriced and poor quality - I stayed at this hotel twice and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. The building itself is an old palace, but the adaptation into a hotel has been poorly executed and the result is quite weird. The rooms are very noisy, especially those near the cafeteria, where there is a constant smell of food. The quieter rooms are extremely small and poorly arranged, with oversized furniture that makes them feel even more cramped. The bathrooms are in very poor condition. Although they appear to have been renovated, the materials used are of very low quality. Water leaked out of the shower and flooded the bathroom floor, and there were persistent bad odors. During my first stay, the room had a high horizontal window with no real view at all. On my second stay, I was given a connecting room, which was even noisier due to both the connecting door and the hallway door. The hotel has an outdated 1970s style. The only positive aspect is the sea view, but this can mainly be enjoyed from the garden and terrace, not from the rooms. Food is extremely overpriced for what it offers. The TV channel selection was very poor, and the connection quality was also unreliable. As for the staff, they tend to be overly familiar, which can feel unprofessional. More importantly, there seems to be little interest in guest feedback or satisfaction, as if repeat customers are not a priority. Overall, the room prices are far too high for the quality provided. I would not stay here again.
