Regular noise from it through the night which is very disturbing (we have 2 rooms which have the same issues) 2. Poor sound insulation, loud door closing, walking along corridor etc 3. No tv channels, only YouTube else own Netflix subscription
- pauldO9800QT (2/5): Not recommended - This hotel is not great. Uncomfortable pillows, no slippers, no TV channels, walls paper thin and very noisy. Would not recommend to stay here. I left eraly and found a much better one about 600m away. Was worth forfeiting the cash to do this.
- John (10/5): - The Thomas hotel offers a great location and courteous service. The rooms are clean and stylish but minimalist. Natural light comes via one frosted window in the bathroom and filters through French doors. Those expecting a view or closet or wardrobe
- fredxoxo (2/5): Don't choose this hotel - Most inflexible hotel and the worst staff. Unable to accommodate for early check-in, late check-out or quiet room. Breakfast was also so bad with the food running out an hour before breakfast time is over. Train runs every hour with loud horns every hour starting at 6:30am in the morning. They provide ear plugs in the room and think that suffice for you to put up with the train noise. TV requires you to sign in with your personal Netflix or Youtube account or else you live with Thai local tv. Room has no windows, closet, nor luggage rack. You have to hang your clothes in the bathroom where it is damp and humid so they can smell like wet socks. The worst hotel in this area for this price range.

- Rooftop_Beach (10/5): Charming hotel in excellent location - We booked 2 standard king rooms on 24-25th January room #214, #215 on Level 2 and the other room on Level 5 (top floor) 29-31 Jan'25. We were greeted by lovely young ladies at the front desk when we arrived. Our rooms were away from lifts/roads/train tracks and close to each other as we requested in advance. We found room #215 was quieter than #214. The funny thing is... Hotel Thomas's soundproof was way better than 5star hotel, Lebua at State Tower Bangkok. My hubby and I had a room on Level 22 at Lebua but had a bad sleep due to traffic noise. Flat tv screen here is 3 times larger than one at Lebua! Not only conplimentary bottled water but also Coke and Sprite. More toiletries in bathroom and small cute cake on Chinese New Year was provided in our bed tho. Thumps up, you beat a famous 5star hotel 😍 Excellent location near Skytrain BTS Phaya Thai and Airport Rail Link. Easy to travel around Bangkok and get to the airport. Unique hotel with charming decor. Reasonably priced tho. Highly recommended. Will be definitely returning 🩷 P.S. Watch out your step when you walk into the shower or you probably hurt yourself. Pls see photos on my review.

Closed to many cafes stores 7 eleven factory cafe street foods and w**d stores, it’s legal here You can go far with bts and metro in Bangkok Room: enough for 2 persons with big bath tub They have smart tv with Netflix Amenities: has small garden to sit and quiet. Don’t have pool Didn’t try breakfast here Will come back again for sure

The quaint hotel features clean rooms with comfortable beds, and the generously sized bathroom includes a chic bathtub and separate shower. However, there is no wardrobe, so hanging clothes in the bathroom may be necessary. While the location offers great dining options nearby, be aware of train noise in the mornings. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay with a charming atmosphere.

Yes I should pay for the damage but the towel was not a new towel so felt a little aggrieved having to pay 700 baht for deep cleaning.

- TheWorldXplorer (6/5): Inconsistent Service Overshadows Spacious, Clean Rooms at Hotel Thomas - This hotel has a few positives, such as clean, spacious rooms and a convenient location with walking distance to the Phaya Thai BTS station and Airport Rail Link. However, the room rates are not competitive; there are many other hotels offering better value for money. By the way, I should mentioned that one of the front desk staff Miss Eve is very helpful. Hotel Thomas is lucky to have her. The maintenance team requires additional training. While they were either not inform or ignorance. For example, my shower drain was partially clogged and slow to drain. Despite reporting this issue on Saturday morning after checking in on Friday night, it was not addressed by the time I checked out on Sunday afternoon. Upon check-in, I was given a welcome drink coupon to redeem at the hotel's Floor Fuangfah restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff there were unwelcoming. When I attempted to use the coupon, I was curtly told, “No, no, today finished already!” It is difficult to believe that a "Welcome Drink" could be unavailable. Even a gesture as simple as offering a glass of water would have sufficed. This incident highlights the staff's lack of training and attentiveness. It seems the staff may not be invested in providing good service, possibly because many tourists only stay here once. However, they should consider that many travelers, like myself, visit Bangkok frequently, sometimes once or twice a month. Given this experience, I will not be staying here again. In summary, while the hotel's cleanliness, room size and location are strengths, the inadequate customer service and unresolved maintenance issues overshadow these positives. I recommend seeking alternative accommodations that offer better service and value.

- moirah135 (10/5): Best Hotel in Bangkok 🤍 - One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It’s my first time in Bangkok, the front desk staff is very nice and friendly. Waiting time for check in was efficient, the staff even provided us with an available room though we checked in early, it’s the first time I’ve experience this kind of hospitality and I really appreciate it. The hotel is well designed, from the lobby to the room , it provides relaxing and aesthetic ambient. The hotel’s location is great too. Hotel Thomas is definitely a great place to stay to if you want to unwind here in Bangkok. I look forward to seamless stay here for two nights and I will surely book here again if I’ll have another vacation in Thailand.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Quaint 1-night romantic get-away - This was a good place to stay in terms of location. The bed was also comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. (We only stayed one night in transit.) There were some things that got on our nerves: #1 the breakfast buffet music was so loud, and it was a mixture of hard rock and teeny popper music. I felt like I was eating breakfast in Highschool Musical. #2 the wifi kept cutting out. Just for normal browsing it was fine. But my husband needed to do live video conference calls for work, and every 10-15 minutes it would completely cut out and he'd be dropped from the call. #3 many of the outlets didn't work. Both electric and USB. They need to do a sweep through of the hotel to check all outlets and lightbulbs. #4 the mini fridge was so loud at night, we had to turn it off. Pros: #1 excellent location. Only a few minutes walk from the BTS. #2 manager on duty was very kind, and although very busy, he was always seemed to be around. #3 the place is quaint, like something out of a romantic movie. There were Chinese people everywhere doing photoshoots. So I'm giving it a 5-stars in the review... But just be aware that it's not a 5-star hotel. They just need to do better. But it was good value for money and majority of people would probably be 100% happy with their stay. 👍

The room is very clean and cosy. Bed is soft and comfy. Toiletries, hair dryer, and bathrobs are provided. I love that it provides liquid-based hand wash rather than soap. The bathtub size is enough for a plus-size me, you can purchase the bath bomb in the lobby. The only negative about this hotel is that the room walls are thin. I can hear the door open and close sound in the morning.
- Trail59500816116 (10/5): Amazing hotel! - I stayed here for 3 nights alone and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The place is super close to BTS so it's really easy to get to anywhere in downtown. I had a really early flight out in the morning and it took less than 5 minutes to get to the airport link. All the staff were really nice, especially Mr.Pasang who checked me in. I would definitely revisit this place!
