• Manuel (6/5): Aceptable para no más de dos días - La ubicación y la atención del personal fue muy buena en todo momento. El hotel está demasiado dejado para nuestro gusto. Las habitaciones son antiguas, las mantas que proporcionan tienen 40 años, los tubos del aire acondicionado por fuera. En general, en hotel necesita un arreglo para seguir siendo competitivo en la zona.

• Mark (1/5): don't stay here unless you want really cheap, and don't mind "roughing it" - the reception guy tried his best. that's it. the list is endless. We turned up having last minute tried to find a place to stay in Istanbul, due to some changes in plans and needed somewhere in the centre with parking. On arrival we were told there was no parking (even though it is advertised on booking with parking). Then the first room (an "upgrade" as described by the reception), had dirty sheets still on the beds from the previous occupiers and we had difficulty with the entry key system. The second room we were then shown, was tiny. To be fair the young man on reception did try to help and sort out problems, but by this stage, finding a car parking space, seeing the first room, seeing the locks on the doors, the general state of the hotel, and being very tired from driving - we left. We then went and booked somewhere else to stay for the night. This hotel is probably great if you want somewhere really cheap to stay and don't mind it being run down. If cheap and cheerful is your way, then that's great and this might do the job (you might still be disappointed but hey - each to their own). False advertising on booking.com put us completely off this hotel. no parking, no clean sheets, shabby and run down - not what was advertised at all.

• Fabiola (8/5): Perfect location! - The best location, only few steps to the Blue Mosque and in the beautiful Fatih district. Nice breakfast and service. Our room was on the ground floor, so early morning (6:30 am) we could hear the kitchen working for the breakfast, and at night we were hearing the front desk chatting. I do not recomend a room on the ground floor.
• ARIEL (8/5): Comodo, limpio y muy buena ubicación - La ubicación a pocos metros de Sultanahmet el hotel es confortable y limpio y la atención del personal de recepción muy amable. Quizá le falte algunas reparaciones menores en algunos elementos de la habitación.

Mikor megérkeztünk szépen ki volt takarítva, viszont az ott tartózkodásunk alatt többször volt olyan probléma hogy ugyan bejöttek a szobába és kaptunk új törölközőt, de például WC papír nem rakott ki újat, a koszos poharainkat nem cserélte ki (egy hotel szobában nem tudtuk elmosni őket) szóval kérnünk kellett újat a recepción, és a koszos poharak ott álltak 6 napig a szekrényen...

• Alina (5/5): Very average - Location Not very clean( especially carpet and curtains), rooms had some weird smell of sewerage, if you open the windows all smell of kitchen from outside will come to room. The room is not soundproof at all so you can hear all outside noises Water pressure was ok but one evening during shower water stopped…. That was not good experience. They fixed it quite fast though Breakfast is very poor and cold

• Riccardo Canton (5/5): Soggiorno odoroso - Posizione centrale e in una via tranquilla C'era un persistente ed intollerabile odore da fogna che pervadeva tutta la camera proveniente dallo scarico della doccia e dallo scarico sito su pavimentazione bagno. In sè il bagno era anche abbastanza pulito ma l'odore arrivava proprio dalle tubazioni sotto. Davvero fastidioso, intollerabile e imperdonabile. La colazione molto molto basic, nulla di dolce. I cuscini erano altissimi, abbiamo chiesto un cuscino più fino ma non lo avevamo.
• Fernando (10/5): - La localización es muy buena (a cinco minutos literalmente de la Mezquita azul) y en un barrio nada peligroso. Las camas son grandes y cómodas. El aire acondicionado funciona a la perfección. Tiene nevera, una bandeja con lo necesario para prepararse un té o café y caja fuerte. Cambian las toallas cada día. El baño está bien equipado (abundante papel higiénico, jabón, champú, pastillas de jabón, acondicionador, crema corporal, secador, gorro de baño, toallas varias...) y cambian las toallas cada día. El desayuno es mejorable (no hay bollería ni tostadas), pero cumple, y funciona de 8 a 10:30 (aunque no nos hizo falta, tal vez debieran empezar a las 7:00...). A diez minutos (bajando por una calle entre la Mezquita azul y Santa Sofía) está la parada del autobús de Havaist que lleva al aeropuerto INT. En general nos gustó todo. Lo único que debo comentar es que un día llegamos por la noche y nuestra habitación la habían dejado abierta (la puerta no cerraba del todo sola y la limpiadora no debió de darse cuenta); de todas formas, es un hotel pequeño, familiar, y no pasó nada (tampoco habíamos dejado en la habitación nada más que ropa sencilla).

• T66NVR (1/5): The worst hotel room I've ever stayed in - Some of the stuff members were very nice but the manager was very unreasonable Stay away from this place! The room was disgusting, with a terrible sewage smell and broken AC. The manager was incredibly unhelpful. He wouldn't even listen to our complaints and basically told us we were making things up. We had to check out early and find a new hotel at double the price. This place ruined the start of our vacation. I've never experienced such a bad Hotel room in my life and I've been to a lot of hotels. The hotel room was big but it smelled like sewage and the AC didn't work even when we addressed the problem the manager he told us he can't smell anything and the AC is working. I checked out the next day tried to get a refund and deal with it with the manager himself but he refused to help us so we contacted booking.com directly to get a refund but they only refunded the remianing days - not the days we stayed. The stay was unbearable. We checked out early and got a different hotel at Double the price the following day West start to summer holiday in Istanbul.

When I arrived at the store, I told me that there was only a room in the basement, and I had to pay 50 euros to change to a room with windows upstairs. But the room is a big bed made up of two single beds. And on the second day of our stay, the air conditioner began to drip.
• SOUFIANE (5/5): Je ne reviendrai pas principalement à cause de la gestion des problèmes techniques, du pt déjeuner m - Lits très confortables, matelas et oreillers de qualité, chambre bien équipée (clim, frigo, thé/café, produits de douche), ménage fait chaque matin. La dessus rien à dire J’ai séjourné ici avec mon fils, et malheureusement l’expérience a été très mitigée À notre arrivée vers 5h du matin l’accueil s’est bien passé,le réceptionniste nous a remis les clés sans problème. Mais une fois dans la chambre grosse surprise le lit était trempé à cause de la climatisation qui fuyait juste au dessus. Il y avait aussi de l’eau sur le sol. Le réceptionniste nous a changé de chambre mais cette fois au 2e étage alors que la première était au 1er. Pas très pratique avec un enfant, surtout que l’ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas (et n’a pas fonctionné pendant tout le séjour) Dans cette 2e chambre les clés défaillaient. Il fallait souvent descendre à la réception pour qu’on vienne forcer la porte. J’ai du insister plusieurs fois (et hausser le ton) pour qu’on me change encore une fois de chambre. Après plusieurs allers retours ils ont fini par nous donner une chambre au 1er étage, qui était correcte mis à part un bruit tres fort dans les toilettes quand on allumait la lumière En revanche le petit déjeuner était une vraie déception peu de variété, croissants et gateaux tres durs, café sans gout, omelette pas bonne. J’ai quasiment rien mangé chaque matin Concernant l’emplacement oui l’hôtel est proche de Sultanahmet et Sainte Sophie mais ces visites se font en une matinée. Ensuite pour tout le reste (bazars, croisière, autre rive, etc.), il faut aller à Eminönü donc je conseillerais plutot un hébergement plus proche de là bas Le métro est à 10 minutes à pied (pas 5), et il y a des magasins autour mais sans plus

• Manar (10/5): Good place - I spent 8 days at the A'la Sofia Hotel with my daughter. Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly, as is the owner. The location is perfect. I give it a 10 because it's close to the famous Blue Mosque in Sultanahmet, just 5 minutes away, and close to the Hagia Sophia Mosque and other monuments. The breakfast was very varied and good, and everything was clean. The location is easy to find, and it's also quiet and safe. I recommend it. Nothing

• Rodica (3/5): I hope they improve the quality and do not play the taxi ride game with anybody else. - Location was ok, near downtown The room 305 was outdated, with lots of issues. It smells like sewage all the time, the court aims dirty(squished bug on it), the vanity counter broken and with mildew, the water stopped twice while in the shower. The handle of the window was broken and the AC unit was dirty inside, whenever we put it on, something black flew down on the bed. I did not take any pictures of the room, because I intended to not report it, but the last day was horrible for us. One of the receptionist arranged the taxi ride to the airport for us(they have the prices on the reception desk), and proved to be a scam between him and the taxi driver. We were scared for our life, because the taxi driver came 30 later than supposed to arrive, paid the receptionist some money. He did not speak any English so the communication was only with google. Long story short, he wanted more money for the ride to the airport than what I discussed with the receptionist from A la Sophia. Also took us to a gas station on the way, where we waited for him 10 minutes. I want only to bring this situations to your attention because I m sure it happens all the time, and nothing is done.

• Filippo (8/5): Molto bello, comodo, persone gentili, rumorosa per via della posizione. - La colazione era buona, c'erano poche scelte, ma non abbiamo avuto problemi sulla colazione. La camera era abbastanza comoda, un po' piccola ma carina. Il servio dell' hotel era eccezionale(giro in barca) Si può migliorare la colazione con cibi più variegati e la sala mensa magari più grande. Inoltre la posizione è un po' rumorosa per via della strada vicina.

• Angelo (10/5): - Encontrar el hotel fue un poco complicado el primer día, por más que pusimos la dirección en google maps, nos salía como a 20 metros, tener eso en cuenta por si les sucede lo mismo. El desayuno fue muy bueno y nos ayudó a empezar el día de la mejor manera, la atención del personal de recepción fue muy agradable también. Me parece que es un buen lugar para hospedarse en relación al precio. Esta muy cerca de la mezquita azul lo cual fue un plus y tiene restaurante y tiendas cerca, sin dudas volvería.

• Mária (10/5): Tiszta, kényelmes és rugalmas hotel, jó szívvel ajánlom. - Nagyon jó választás volt. Kiváló elhelyezkedés, 2 sarokra a Kék mecsettől. Főbb nevezetességek séta távolságra. 5 perc séta a villamos megálló, csendes kis utca, jól lehetett pihenni. Bőséges választék a reggelinél, tág időtartam és minden friss és finom volt. A személyzet kedves, segítőkész és rendkívűl rugalmas. Már délelőtt elfoglalhattuk a szobát és távozáskor estig ott hagyhattuk a csomagjainkat. Kiváló ár-érték arány. Nem volt olyan.
• Mathilde (6/5): Agréable pour le ratio qualité / prix - Le personnel est adorable et la localisation est très bien. Nous sommes à deux pas de la mosquée bleue et St Sophie. Manque de propreté (draps et serviettes tachés, salle de bain non nettoyée) et le petit déjeuner était très moyen.

• Vasil (2/5): - Friendly stuff They moved me to another hotel because there was a "problem" with my room. The rates for transfer from and to the airport in the reception are 35 euro but they wanted me to pay 50 euro. Becides that they do not accept card payment for the transfers, and I was not informed in advance.

• Beeshmoy (8/5): - Reception allowed us an early checkin since we were only planning to crash at the hotel for 3-4 hours to catch up on sleep. Location is great, just 7-8 mins walk to Blue Mosque and plenty options to eat and shop. Long walk (20 mins) from the metro. We got a basement room although that was never there in the listing, it wasn't a big deal as we were there for 6h max.

• djKave (4/5): Mala organización pero amables - la zona céntrica. a 5 minutos de la mezquita azuly llegamos a las 9 de la noche. y nos dicen que no tienen habitación. y nos mandan a otro hotel. y nos hacen esperar otros 10 min . teniamos hambre y encima un tour a la 10 de la noche. al final nos llevan a otro hotel. y bastante peor en todo. eso sí fueron amables todos el rato. me aguanté de enfadarme. esto puede pasar pero a las 9 de la noche cuando un chekin es más 3? exagerado no tenerlo solucionado cuando llegáramos. además puse que llevaría sobre esa hora. muy mal oeganzy

• Dieva (10/5): Highly recommend !!! - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect — close to restaurants, shops, and main attractions. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.
