• Nazarova (1/5): Awful - Nothing I booked this hotel in the evening and came directly there. The room which I booked wasn’t ready. Waited for 1 it to be cleaned. Room smelled bad and was very cold. Air conditioner wasn’t working. I had to sleep with jacket at night. In bathroom there wasn’t cold water. So couldn’t take shower normally. The next day, afternoon noon, when I wanted to go out, lady in the reception told me that I have to pay without any explanation. Her way of talking was so rude, unacceptable. When I said I booked it online and they should take it from my card bcs I don’t have any cash. She told me that they don’t take money from booking so I had to pay by cash. Then why booking allow them to be here? It is my worst experience in Istanbul.

Non andateci - La posizione Arrivati il 31 di dicembre alle 6 del pomeriggio, dopo aver prenotato la stanza con un mese di anticipo e mandato dei messaggi con l’orario del nostro arrivo senza ricevere risposta, cercano di collocarci in altri hotel perché evidentemente hanno venduto la nostra camera ad altri. Ovviamente non c’è posto da nessun’altra parte, quindi ci fanno aspettare 2 ore mentre cercano una soluzione e nessuna spiegazione a riguardo. Ci viene data una stanza tripla al quinto piano, hotel sporco, i mobili tutti rotti, le finestre si aprivano da sole (fuori c’erano 0 gradi), prese non funzionanti e soffitto scrostato. Non faró commenti sul bagno perché era degno di un incubo. Non sono stati forniti asciugamani, soltanto uno piccolo il secondo giorno su nostra richiesta e un tappetino da bagno da usare al posto dell’asciugamano, nonostante compaiano in descrizione su booking. Su booking era specificato il pagamento online, loro invece hanno preteso il pagamento in contanti, creandoci numerosi problemi con il prelievo di soldi e le commissioni altissime. Alla fine ci rassegniamo e paghiamo, il mattino dopo, al check out, una signora ci trattiene chiedendoci nuovamente di pagare, facendoci perdere tempo quando qualcuno avrebbe potuto rilasciarci una ricevuta di avvenuto pagamento, o segnarla sul registro. Ovviamente nessuno parlava inglese e le comunicazioni sono state impossibili.

• Ekaterina Dergach (1/5): - Ничего Самый худший отель, в котором мне доводилось останавливаться. Во-первых, номер в реальности абсолютно не соответствует фотографиям. Такое ощущение, что фото были сделаны лет 10 назад, когда ещё не было плесени, грязи и облупленных стен или же отредактированы в фотошопе. Сейчас же всё в запущенном состоянии: розетки не работают, стены поцарапаны и грязные. Во-вторых, санузел — это отдельный кошмар. Зайти туда неприятно: везде плесень, грязные стены, а «душ» — это крошечный уголок, где невозможно помыться, не заливая весь унитаз. В-третьих, постельное бельё старое, с пятнами, которые, похоже, уже давно не отстирываются. В-четвёртых, две ночи подряд отключали электричество — не работал свет и холодильник. В-пятых, кондиционер за окном шумит так, будто рядом взлетает самолёт. В-шестых, интернет не работает вовсе, хотя персонал уверяет, что всё нормально, и советует просто сфотографировать QR-код — что, разумеется, не помогает. В-седьмых, при бронировании нигде не было указано, что требуется оплата наличными. Вместо того чтобы сообщить об этом заранее, целый день писали и требовали принести деньги. И, наконец, после всего этого сотрудники ещё и просят поставить наивысшую оценку. За что? Ужасный отель. Подойдёт разве что для тех, кто не хочет ночевать на улице.

• Karolina (7/5): Good - The owner was very kind and helpfull, it wasn't a problem at all that we checked in at 8.00PM, room wasn't very big but it was right in the old town, bathroom seemed quite old but generally it was clean. There were bed, fridge, armchair, small table, small tv and AC in the room. For that price it was good.

The hotel was not clean at all. the toilet was stinking, the towels were still dirty, very loud noise. even if someone walks through your door you can hear everything. people were also very loud. When I reached there was no one at the front desk, had to wait 15 min. They don't accept cards just cash also only in Lira which was very challenging for me.

• Chelsea (1/5): Scammers! - We booked 11 nights and had to leave after 2 nights to fly back home for a funeral.The owner agreed to refund us for 8 nights and to arrange it when we got home since we had to leave immediately to catch the next flight. They ignored all my messages and emails and refused to answer booking dot coms calls and emails to avoid paying the refund. Disgusting.

• Hilmi (6/5): Decent location in Istanbul to the main sights. Streets are noisy at times - The proximity to the Sultanahmet Park and other major sights in Istanbul. The hosts were kind and helpful, but there's a major language barrier. The room was okay for sleeping but a bit small for two people. Firstly, they asked you to pay on the property (not a problem) - but did not clarify on the website that they only accept cash, with either it being the Turkish Lira or the Euro. Secondly, the streets get really noisy, even past midnight. It's hard to sleep if you're a light sleeper. Thirdly, the photos advertised could've been more clearer in quality. The room looks a bit worn out in reality. Also one of the plugs in our room didn't work.

• Arkadiusz (3/5): Good location, but there are several hotels on the same street that look much more attractive. - Neither the room nor the bathroom was cleaned even once. After using the shower, the bathroom was all splashed and dirty. There was no equipment to clean the bathroom yourself. There was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The staff did not care that coffee mugs were available. The trash can in the bathroom was very small. And the garbage can at the reception desk was always overflowing.
• Mahir (1/5): Bad - When we arrived, we didn't get the room we had reserved, instead we were offered a room that was too small with one too small bed. The photos of the rooms on booking are not at all like in reality. Then the owner took us down the street to another hotel where we stayed for 4 days. In that hotel, the friendly staff was the only positive side (bathroom and room in disrepair, noise at night, dirty bed linen). All in all, a negative experience.

• Baddick (1/5): TERRIBLE - absolutely nothing - AVOID BED BUG INFESTATIONN i came from the UK to stay here and I can say it is truly the most disgusting place I have ever been to. there was mould everywhere, stinks of smoke, dirty bedrooms, all the furniture is broken old and needs replacing, filthy bedding. to top it all off I found bed hugs and had bed bugs all over me!!! please do NOT stay here it’s not worrying saving a few bucks. i also was travelling alone as a female and felt very unsafe in the room, the door doesn’t really lock properly and is very flimsy and there are a lot of men who hang around the hotel in the day time and outside.. felt very uncomfortable. i tried to get a refund from the owners as I ended up going to another hotel and have received nothing they just fought with me. this really ruined my trip please do not stay here!!!! I’ve also had to Chuck away all my belongings from the trip as I had bed bugs all over them. wasted so much money and emotional distress. the owner has now completely ignored me after I sent him all my photos and info about my experience. so bad I cannot believe this place hasn’t been shut down. i still feel dirty.

• Lamhaddeb (1/5): Scam Hotel. Sent to another place. Dirty Hooker hotel. - Nothing SCAM!!! We didn't actually stay here. They told us they were overbooked after we booked the hotel and sent us to another hotel nearby called Ozyurt Hotel . We were not made aware of this before we arrived. We sat in the lobby for a couple hours before they told us this. Even after they said everything was ok. The only thing about this hotel I can review is the lobby which was dirty and very outdated and had a bad smell. While we waited what looked to be a male prostitute with makeup smeared on his face came out for water a couple times. I'm convinced that these hotels are working together to give their friends business. The hotel they sent us to had worse reviews and more bed bugs than I ever imagined could be in a room. We had 4 heavy bags and hadn't slept all night so we were forced to stay in this other hotel. Ozyurt Hotel has no wifi and they will put on this show like they are turning it off and on again but they know it doesn't work and there's nothing that can be done. They have a barely functioning ac and the linens are filthy with blood and makeup stains. We asked for fresh pillow cases and he gave us just 1. The shower is broken and only half way turns into a shower so you lose hot water quickly. Very dirty bathroom. No effort. Didn't smell any kind of soap or cleaners. The hallway was covered in the crap she swept out of our room. The broom was still in the hall so I swept it myself and left it in the corner to be collected later so honestly they probably owe me money. The female housekeeper and staff are very rude and put on a fake show. There were so many bed bugs in the room I had to leave behind my personal plush blanket because they began to make a home out of it. I tried to spray hair spray on the perimeter of the sheets to deter them but my husband was still covered in bites and blood was smeared on the sheets in the morning where he was being eaten alive. Disappointing.

Sleepers were just a piece of paper. extremely poor and disgusting. There was smell in the blankets. For 3rd, 4th or 5th Floor, there must be lift/elevator, as it was difficult to go up and down with stairs.
