• Diana (9/5): Top! Volgende keer weer - Perfecte ligging. Knus hotel met Salon de thé. Kleinschalig. Schoon en comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Heerlijk ontbijt. Prima uitvalsbasis om Amsterdam te ontdekken. Dichtbij restaurants, café’s, musea en binnenstad. Geen lift, maar wij vonden het geen probleem. Als je slecht ter been bent zou ik dit wel even aangeven.

The staff could not have done more to help us. Even printing off our boarding passes and storing our luggage even after check out to enable us to go sightseeing. • Dana (10/5): Perfect hotel choice for a stay in Amsterdam!! - We loved everything!! Our room was great - the stairs were a bit challenging at first but got used to them quickly!! The breakfasts were amazing....our hosts helped with anything we requested...calling taxis, recommendations for restaurants...etc... The location was perfect for our plans!! I had knee surgery in January so the stairs were intimidating at first...but I got used to hopping down them...so would not really rate as a problem!!

There are just not enough words to describe the friendliness of the staff including Martin. I do not know the names of the other staff members but they were all so nice and made you feel part of the family. They did everything to make us feel welcome and have an enjoyable stay. If I return to Amsterdam, I would stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Nothing. Everything was excellent.

• Dull (10/5): Amazing location and hospitality! - The location was perfect for our vacation. We loved the historic area. We were surrounded by unlimited food options, which was very important for the picky eaters in our family. We walked and used public transportation for all our needs (except to/from airport). We stayed in Room 8- Amstel Family Room- we loved the space it provided for us and our two teenage boys. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and the atmosphere was a relaxing transition to start our day. The staff was always friendly, helpful with all our questions, and really made sure we were taken care of during our stay.
• Gwilyn (9/5): A charming small hotel in an authentic Amsterdam canal house! - What a gem! I and my son enjoyed this wee canal house hotel. We had one of the back annex rooms - the stairs were very steep and then more stairs once inside our door, but that made it utterly charming and authentic. (I might hesitate if I had mobility issues, but for my kid and me it was a grand adventure!) The sleep was very quiet, and the room and bathroom were lovely for our needs. Breakfast was great - served down in the tea room on the ground level. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam!

• KevenO_13 (10/5): Wonderful small hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. - This little hotel above a tea room is fantastic. Don’t expect a traditional hotel. The reception is the front counter off the tea room., which is really good. Above come very steep stairs are several lovely rooms. Ours had a fantastic view of the street and canal. The rom was well appointed and clean. The best part was the service. Everyone was so friendly. We had been traveling for 10 days. Staff carried our heavy luggage up for us (and back down when we left). The breakfast was excellent. We brought dinner in on our last night as we had an early flight the next day. The Tea Room mad suer. We had everything we needed for a cozy dinner in our room. They even had coffee ready for our taxi driver when he arrived to pick us up the next morning. The location is fantastic. Very close to the Anne Frank house and within easy walking distance to teh Grnad Place and the tram system. Fantastic.

• Stephen (10/5): 'T Hotel and Salon in Amsterdam - The property was a lovely, quaint and older facility with all of the desired attendant charm. It was not the cookie cutter room one expects from a chain hotel. Our host Martin was very friendly and helped us with electrical converter plugs. Breakfast was delicious and filling. There were some exuberant and noisy neighbors the first night but this was not the property's fault.

Great location with nice friendly bar just up the street. Quiet location as well. Very helpful staff, good quality breakfast (continental). The sink did not have a plug - not a huge problem but would have been useful. NB for anyone with mobility issues, the hotel is in an old canalside house and has very steep stairs up to the rooms.

• Miranda (8/5): Ideal quiet and comfortable location for a weekend in Amsterdam. - The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam: it's located just a short walk from the train station in the charming 9 streets neighborhood, next to Jodaan. Despite this central location, the hotel is on a quiet street and our room was wonderfully calm and peaceful. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable and the stairs, while typical of canal houses, are a bit difficult! The breakfast was very nice though I'd loved to have tried one of the cakes they sell (not included in breakfast).

• DanaFG (10/5): - The location is small but very clean and gives you the feeling of home. Although the reception closes at 8p.m., the lady at the reception waited for us until 10. It was obviously an effort on her part, which we appreciated very much, because it allowed us to explore the city without constraints. Even though it is located a short distance walk from the center, the area is mainly residential and quiet. The breakfast is not very varied, but it was very tasty and sufficient. The interior staircase is very narrow and steep, but it's not something that can be changed/modified, it's the construction. You could say it's part of the charm of the place, but those with mobility problems will have a hard time moving on this type of staircase.
• P9273CIdebbies (10/5): Wonderful stay at 'T Hotel - 'T Hotel is a lovely, family-owned boutique hotel in Amsterdam overlooking the canals in a quiet area just a 10-15 minute walk from Dam Square. The reception area is inside a cafe, serving delicious food and drinks, located beneath the rooms. We received a warm reception when we arrived. Our standard room was on the “first floor” which is actually at the top of 1-1/2 flights of steep, narrow stairs. There is no lift in the building so it’s probably not a good choice for anyone with limited mobility. However, the staff does assist guests in getting their baggage to and from the rooms. Our room was #4 - Keizersgracht which was much larger than it looked in online photos. The room was very clean and comfortable and includes a king size/two twin bed, a small work area with a desk and chair, and a loveseat in the sleeping area. The bed was very comfortable and two, large windows could be opened for fresh air and to enjoy the sunlight. The modern bathroom included a walk-in shower and a nice assortment of basic toiletries. A delicious breakfast of croissants, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and more was included with our room. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend ’T Hotel unless climbing the steep, narrow stairs would be an issue for someone in your party. It's a boutique hotel with just eight rooms so make your reservation early.

The hotel was in a good location for central sightseeing & the breakfast was very nice. Just a small point that the pillows in our room were fine but maybe could be improved.

We also got to use their storageroom for our luggage after checkout. All in all a really good experience!
• annikenwo (10/5): Fantastic! - We were a couple, and we thought the hotel and the people working there were fantastic. The room was cozily decorated with a theme, and the cleanliness was very good. The breakfast was very pleasant. It was a buffet, but it was served at the table, which made it feel a bit more exclusive. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of most attractions and the central station. I would gladly return here and would recommend it to others!

This is a really nice hotel in a great spot on a quiet street.

• Victoria (6/5): Amazing location but the room cleanliness and towels need a refresh. - The location is absolutely perfect. Such a sweet little building and the staff and really nice. There was rubbish under the bed (empty water bottle) and the towels were thin and had holes in them.
• Martin (9/5): The hotel offers a very good price and superb location making it a great value option in Amsterdam. - Excellent location, right on the canal, with a very romantic atmosphere. Breakfast is included and offers a good variety of options. The couple who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and welcoming, which really adds a personal touch to the stay. We stayed in a first-floor room facing the canal, and the view was excellent. One thing to note is that room brightness—especially in summer—can be an issue, as there are no blackout curtains. Street noise, however, was well controlled and did not disturb our sleep. Overall, the hotel offers a very good price, making it a great value option in Amsterdam. Important to consider: access to the first floor is via a very steep staircase with narrow steps, which could be challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility issues.

• Lorenzo (9/5): Grande piccolo alloggio nel cuore di Amsterdam - Piccolo hotel situato lungo un canale nei pressi della casa di Anna Frank quindi in posizione centrale, utile per girare praticamente tutto il centro storico di Amsterdam a piedi. La nostro camera era affacciata sul canale con 3 ampie finestre che ci hanno regalato bellissime vedute! Unico inconveniente che essendo al primo piano sentivamo bene i passanti nelle ore notturne ma comunque nulla di così disturbante. Ottimo anche il bagno con ampia doccia ricca di prodotti. Colazione non a buffet come in grandi strutture ma sufficiente a sfamarci: prodotti nella media ma non eccelsi. Staff cortese e sempre disponibile. Da migliorare la colazione con qualche prodotto meno industriale e più genuino e anche un po' più di attenzione nella pulizia della camera e nella sistemazione quotidiana. Attenzione alle scale ripide: non è stato un problema per noi ma per persone con problemi di equilibrio lo sono di sicuro!

• Ashley (10/5): I’ve traveled all over Europe, including Amsterdam 4x, and this is my favorite place to stay ever. - The staff was so friendly and helpful; they went out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The croissants they served were better than we had just had in Paris. They kindly let my son have breakfast after it technically ended. The room was beautiful, clean, and fresh. The hotel was perfectly located. Loved the shower head and comfortable bedding. We had a group of 7 in 4 rooms; rooms 1 and 4 (canal view) are absolutely worth paying a bit extra for. The standard rooms (I was told) were great and just as comfortable, however. We are a pretty picky bunch, we’ve traveled many places, and we have zero complaints about this stay. Thanks again! No complaints whatsoever.

Os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e cordiais. Falam português, dão dicas excelentes e são muito solícitos. O café da manhã é delicioso. Simplesmente adorável!! Gostamos de tudo!!
