• Mohd (8/5): Nice Cosy Apartel - A nice and cosy Apartel in District 7. Has an elevator and a bar resto. Many eateries, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The front reception staff, Mr Vu is extremely helpful and responsive person. Keep up the good work.

Not very sound proof, can hear other guests talking, walking, footsteps and moving furniture/chairs around. Otherwise a decent place to stay if you’re not sensitive to noise!

The windows face the wall of the neighboring hotel 2-3 meters away. Most of the staff doesn't speak English

Room was basic but comfy and daily cleaning was great. They also did a free laundry service for us. The room was missing a deep clean, drawers were bit dirty and shower curtain needed replacing.

They have a bar-restaurant downstairs with great food and nice atmosphere The area around is alive, has shops, restaurants. Location: I read in reviews about great location but it’s not, it’s outside the touristic area so let’s say I booked excursion and i should go to their office for pick up even though they picked up all others just because they stay in normal touristic districts and I’m outside it. All the main attractions, alive touristic areas were around 20 min by bike taxi, and it was a problem because let’s say in new year night i couldn’t go out because taxi didn’t came, a lot of traffic and demand. The way from the airport by taxi car took me almost 2 hours in traffic jams.

• Nicholas (1/5): They like to outbook you here. Maybe pick a place with morals. - Don't know, they outbooked me. The walk to where I was sent to was only 5 minutes though. I was outbooked. Would have been wonderful to have known that before I arrived at the hotel. I worked in hospitality for about 6 and a half years and did have to outbook people. I know this is a failure of sales. They gamble that people won't turn up so they can charge a company for an occupied room. It's a disgustingly greedy practice. I have little option to score the hotel a 1 so that they know this practice is unacceptable.

• Baclee (10/5): I enjoyed my first week in Vietnam started in staying at La Bonita Hotel - A quiet hidden gem behind a main very busy street without traffic noise. A good chance to meet up with friendly, helpful and trustworthy staffs who are always willing to go the extra steps. Very easy access to public transportation buses if one knows how and inexpensive. I think go every where one have to face with all those raised steps in walking. Be careful don't run and eyes open!
