• Caroline (4/5): - The location was ok although the grab drivers can be confused and go to another ally nearby A LOT. Also it was in a very narrow ally so be mindful the drivers might not be willing to go in - bit inconvenient when you have lots of luggage. Staff is proactive, friendly and trying to help. The facility and toiletries provided were very basic and with the price paid I wouldn't recommend. The balcony was tiny and there's no view. You need to pay via a link in prior and the host keep asking you - I was bit concerned with the amount of fraud happening these days. With the amount of communication with the host during the trip I felt quite disturbed. One cleaning was offered during a 7 nights' stay.
• Martin (10/5): A cool, comfortable, clean homestay at a great location with fantastic hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you have - Brilliant location - central, but in a quiet and sweet alleyway. The staff were excellent at communicating with us to ensure we had directions/instructions and also checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed It was a very clean and comfortable room - lovely to have the terrace for fresh air. A real bonus was the Netflix facility - we could come back after dinner and relax watching a show to wind down. Would definitely recommend this homestay! Nothing - all good 😊

Note that this is a home stay so no front desk but instead you can receive supper on WhatsApp. 4B on stop floor is above most city noise. Clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious. • Kenji T (10/5): ひとり旅にはコストパフォーマンス最高 - ロケーションは最高だと思います。 繁華街が徒歩圏内にありながら、通りから少し奥に入っているので比較的静かです。 スタッフは非接触応対ですがWhatsAppでレスポンスも良く親身に対応して頂けます。 ハウスキーピングはタオルの交換とゴミ捨てのみでWhatsAppでの要請が必要です。 ヘム(通り、路地)の入口に警備員がいる所が多いですが、ここは不在であり路地が曲がっているので表通りから見えず、、セキュリティに少し不安があります。バイクを使用する人は気を付けて下さい。 一階内に駐輪出来ますが、入口の段差が大きく、入口前にバイクが駐輪されているので極めて困難だと思います。

• tugceari (8/5): prime location, clean house and helpful staff - Staff were super nice and always so helpful! They even helped me to get my visa... I am really thankful to them, they were always so kind and trustworthy. The house is located in a super central location with full of nice restaurants and cafes nearby by so you don't need to take a cab all the time but walk to most of places. But the building is located slightly inner side, you don't hear any noise or anything. Nearby houses are local people's houses which makes your stay even more interesting and fun :) It was really cute to see local people around. The house was clean and we felt comfortable with the bathroom and bed. The staff were always accessible via WhatsApp whenever you needed them, they just very quickly respond to you anytime. Nothing bad in particular but just to inform everybody that you pay a deposit for 2m vnd and they return you at the time of check out without no problem. And also, you need to pay via another Vietnamese payment system which is trustable. So just telling you not to worry about anything about these procedures.
• Pieter (9/5): Nice hotel in the city centre - Central Studios is like a hotel without personnel present on-premises. To open the electronic lock of the hotel door and of your room/studio you get an access code via WhatsApp. I was a bit hesitant about this, but in practice it works well. Although the host is not present, you can reach them via WhatsApp. Several times they inquired whether everything was still to our liking. The studio itself is clean, comes with cooking utensils, and a small electric stove. We didn't prepare any meals there but did enjoy the free coffee that is provided. The bathroom has a shower with a separate shower screen, which helps keep the rest of the bathroom dry when you take a shower. After heavy rain, we could hear a repeating drip of water from some place near the roof. Not loud enough to keep you awake when you're tired, but nonetheless "present". Also the refrigerator in our room could make its presence noted. The hotel/homestay doesn't offer breakfast, which is unfortunate when you need to leave early for a tour. The price does seem a bit on the higher side, but that could also be due to the higher price level in Ho Chi Minh City. Do keep in mind you have to pay a deposit of $ 100 or 2000000 VND, for each room. Of course, you do get that back but it's really unfortunate.
• Gareth (6/5): Great staff/location, but my stay had ups and downs! - Staff great and location ideal. Room has everything you need. Stayed one month in Room 3B at rear of building which was quiet outside. Noise from the room above as continuously slamming their door at all hours. This could have been the same room that was reported in feedback on AirBNB early on this year, so definitely needs investigating as a previous guest said they had to slam their apartment door to close it properly. Also water leaking on to me from the Aircon Unit above my small balcony each time I smoked was a pain.

• Burger (10/5): A great location in District 1, quiet, where you can make your own coffee. - What I particularly liked about the studio was the opportunity to make me a very good coffee every morning. They provided fresh coffee beans and a grinder, and different ways of making your coffee. Also, the place is very well located in District 1, close to a convenience shop a a waking distance to the heart of HCM city. For those who want peacefulness, the studio is located in a quiet little street. Overall, I really enjoyed the studio and its location, and if I return to HCM city, I will rent it again. Last but not least, staff was great with good customer skills, asking from times if everything was good to me.

The location is fantastic,hidden away in a quiet,peaceful and safe neighbourhood and within easy walking distance to many of the top attractions.Shops,bars,restaurants all within less than a 5 min walk. • Thuong (6/5): Two major hiccups, but host were quick to respond. - The host is very responsive. The host had repainted the room, during check in time, the room had a strong chemical smell that lasted a day, may have lasted longer but I aired out the room as much as possible. I contacted the host and they tried to remedy the situation with air fresheners. Another situation during the stay was the door didn’t require a code to enter, and I could just open the door and walk in freely. I’m not sure if that’s how it was all night, or just a brief moment in time, but that’s a little unnerving. The host came over and checked out the door as soon as I contacted them about it.
• Thuong (8/5): Very good - The location is very close to a lot of places. Walking is always an option to go places. PLEASE BE AWARE : next to the bathroom light switch there is the water heater switch . I accidentally turned it off and suffered with taking freezing cold showers . There is hot water here !
• Colin (5/5): No window - Fairly central location. Clean, spacious, fairly comfortable. No window in the room, which wasn't clear when we booked. Sure, one of the many photos of the property says that one of the rooms has no windows, but it's unclear which room that is. Also, the host asked for a cash damage deposit, and we had to coordinate both a time for them to pick up the deposit and to give it back. Asking for a deposit is highly unusual for a hotel, and it was inconvenient arranging for the pick up / drop off times.
• Michelle (10/5): Great service and facility, nice place to stay - The service the staff rendered to us far exceeded our expectations. They went the extra mile for us and ensured our wellbeing was met. The facilities provided in the room was clean and relatively new and we enjoyed making our daily morning coffee with the coffee beans and equipment(milk frother, coffee bean grinder, drip coffee cups) that was provided in the room. Drinking water was provided through a filtered tap and it saved us the hassle of having to buy bottled water. Also a washer and dryer is provided free to use at the ground floor, which made our time there so much more comfortable. There was nothing in particular that I didn't like. I had a fantastic stay.

It was all good. The shower was great- good water pressure with the rain shower head. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of a concierge or someone on site and lack of a locked storage area for bags (since there's no one on site). Other than that, the location was excellent. The place good.
