• Hidemitsu (5/5): コンセントが壊れているが修理しない宿。 - クアラルンプールは10年前に比べて、日本人、中国人、北朝鮮人、サウジアラビア人の旅行者が激減しており、どこもすいているので、マレーシアリンギット建ての物価は、ほとんど上昇していないが、国際的な旅行予約サイトだけは、値上げの嵐が吹き荒れている。 客室のコンセントが壊れていて、今にもショートして火事にでもなりそうな状態だ。このことをレセプションに伝えたが、まともに対応しなかった。ともかく客室のコンセントにプラグをさすと、ウナリ音が出るのは怖い状態だ。
• Douglas (8/5): I enjoyed it and it was good. - Location was good. Good value for the money. No breakfast and coffee shop did not open until 9 am.
• Paul (5/5): Great location but needs a manager to properly manage the building to bring it up to a better level. - Room was small with just a toilet, shower and sink. Clothes hangers on a wall was the only means of hanging our clothes. Room was very basic and in need of a very serious upgrade. Its disappointing that these properties simply don't spend any money on just painting and cleaning the rooms just to improve their status. Rooms are not automatically cleaned , you have to request to have it done !? Old and refurbished rooms that just need some care given to them.
• Sharon (7/5): Good for a short stay, or for easy access to KL Sentral. - I booked this hotel for 1 night after flying in at night. I was getting a train from KL Sentral the next day so it was convenient to be staying near the station. I got the KLIA express from the airport and it was a fairly easy 10 minute walk from the station, I walked through the NU Mall. So easy and quick getting the train from the airport and not worrying about taxis or Grab. I mostly needed a bed for the night so the room served that purpose well. It's good for a short stay or a stay where you need a base but don't need to spend a lot of time in the room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom basic but ok. The bathroom was a little tired.

Was thrilled to have the linen and towels changed daily. Only thing we missed was having a small fridge. Would happily stay here again.

• Vijay (10/5): Beautifully simple and restful - It has solid brick wall construction that could shield is from loud city and other room noises so that one can good sleep.All of the rooms have windows so that you will never feel claustrophobia.Bed and pillows are so clean and free of dust mites.

The staff were all exceptionally helpful too- really appreciated that. The cleanliness could do with some improving. There was some interesting stains on my duvet cover and shower curtain- all of which I was trying not to think about. Everywhere could do with a good dusting too!

• Gordon (10/5): An excellent stay at an excellent hotel in an excellent location! - The Summer View is a basic budget hotel delivering exceptional value for the cost. It is situated in Brickfields, near to KL Sentral, giving access to transportation for KL and all of Malaysia. The area is populated with an unbelievable number restaurants and hawker stalls so food is always available. Nothing! If you understand that is a hotel that is providing basic, safe accommodations, not a five star resort, you will enjoy your stay. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly.

• Lina (8/5): good location - the location was in the heart of little india but it is very close to the KL Sentral so it was easy to get around. The staff was 24hrs, friendly and the room had pretty much everything you would need apart from the hair dryer (which you will need to remember to grab from the reception). The hotel is although old but it is spacious, clean and confortable. I would still stay there again. The hotel doesnt have a designated area for Grab/car to park outside of the hotel (but this was a minor issue).

• 炳煌 (6/5): Pleasant - In the first night, I stayed in room 808. It was suspected that the carpet was moldy and the strong bad smell of the sewer of the bathroom. After reacting with the counter staff on the 1st floor at night, I changed to room 815, and the situation improved; in KL Near Sentral, there are trains, airport express, MRT, LRT, bus, very convenient to any scenic spot, the location is very good, the counter service staff and cleaning staff are very serious, the service is very convenient, and the surrounding meal is very convenient

The staff were very courteous. Great value for money in a central location. Be even better if they upgrade/change the room carpets , as it is slighly musty.

The room cabinet rack below safe unit is dusty. The room light is bit dim. And both lifts lighting are quite dark, couldn't see the button clearly

The staff were also very courteous and accommodating. The surrounding area also has a lot of food options. The room is a bit small and did not have a refrigerator.

• May (9/5): A good place for tourists to stay - Great location. Well suited for tourists who want a central location but on the affordable side. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was no hotel carpark. Only public parking on the opposite side.

• Shoaib (10/5): Highly Recommend for All ages and Family travels. - I think HSV is the best choice for the people who often travel Kuala lumpur, for tourists, visitor with family. It’s really the exceptional place to stay, the view from window is stunning, breathtaking. Food is available nearby at low cost, and quality is much better. This place is also called as Little India. My four days stay there was pretty good. Got satisfactory services 24/7.

• Richard (8/5): I stayed here for 3 nights, It's a nice little budget hotel. - The hotel is pretty well located, not far from a major transport hub and plenty of eateries and bars nearby.
• Astoic (8/5): Very good - Well done, the whole front desk team was fantastic. My appreciation goes to the friendly gentleman at the front desk. He was the same person who checked me in last year during my stay, very courteous and professional. He was training another staff this time while checking me in, but the process was smooth, absolutely no delay. Summer View Hotel: This guy should be promoted and given a significant pay raise, if haven't done so.
