• Liam (10/5): Brilliant host in a beautiful location - Terrific stay at this property. Facilities are all decent, and the bed was especially comfortable. The location is in a quiet, picturesque spot just next to the lake. It’s short walk into the main part of town, but there’s also a delicious restaurant just a two minute walk away - La Cantina. The highlight was definitely the host Guillermo, he went above and beyond for us during our stay, and he’s one of the kindest people you’ll come across. I would recommend staying here every time!
• Amanda (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Cabañas de Nene! The cabin was well cleaned and had everything I needed. The cabin was the same in the photos. The owner, Guillermo, was so welcoming and friendly! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay and experience in El Calafate. The cabin is about a 15-20 min walk from the downtown area. But it is very close to a nice walking area by the lake and there were some good restaurants in close proximity.
• Iliana (10/5): which was fantastic, I highly recommend visiting. - The cabin was very nice, clean and cozy had everything I needed for my 3 nights 4 day stay, weather was cool but not to cold and was able to walk 15’ to town. Property is right next to Costanera walkway where I walked overlooking the Argentino Lake. The host Guillermo was amazing, the best I have come across in my travels. very helpful, truly kind and very attentive to details, like my breakfast and helped me book my tours to the glaciers, he was a blessing in connecting me with the tour company that I was having trouble booking, he called them directly and helped reserve my tour, he was a lifesaver. Guillermo helped me get taxi to the Glaciarium museum. There is nothing that I could complain about.

Beautiful garden and comfortable cabins/accommodation. Great breakfasts. Our host, Guillermo, was very friendly and helpful. A real treat to be able to stay here....one our best accommodation stays.Would also be good for families with a great lakeside playground not far away. Nature reserve close by. Liked everything.

• Rodrigo (10/5): Excepcional - We had a wonderful stay at Cabanãs de Nené in El Calafate. The cabin was extremely clean, and towels were replaced every single day, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was delivered fresh right to our door each morning. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to prepare our own meals when we wanted. The living area was spacious and comfortable, and the two bedrooms provided plenty of room. The bathroom was also very large and excellent. We felt very comfortable and at home throughout our stay. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to the lake for beautiful views and relaxing strolls, and it’s also very close to the town center. Guillermo was always available and very prompt in responding to any questions. His attention made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

• Anne (10/5): Cozy and comfortable stay - We had such a nice and relaxing stay with Guillermo at Nene’s cabañas, it felt like visiting a favorite uncle’s house! The cabin had everything we needed for a cozy night - comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, sofa and TV, along with breakfast. It was such a nice stay, really nothing we didn’t like. Maybe it would be nice to have an extra pillow?

• Rafael (10/5): Apartamento acolhedor para familia com 3 filhos - Guillermo foi muito atencioso com nossas necessidades, horários para café da manhã, lavagem de roupas..... fez de tudo para que tivéssemos uma boa estadia. Os quartos são muito limpos, as toalhas trocadas com muita frequência, a cozinha é bem equipada. Temos 3 filhos ( 1 bebê de 1 ano), e ficamos extremamente confortáveis com o apartamento. Fica um pouco distante do centro ( cerca de 1,2km), então para fazer coisas por lá, é necessário pegar um taxi ( que funciona bem el El Calafate), ou fazer uma caminha de 25minutos.

Le logement est parfaitement entretenu tous les jours, Guillermo est gentil, ponctuel, accueillant, discret quand il le faut, enthousiaste, généreux et j’en passe. Le petit déjeuner est toujours copieux et apporte en mains propre par Guillermo, qui en profite pour donner des conseils sur les lieux à visiter / ou manger dans le coin. Le stanze sono spaziose e accoglienti, con un bel giardino pieno di fiori. La colazione è ottima e viene servita direttamente in appartamento all'orario scelto dal signor Guillermo che è un padrone di casa eccezionale, attento e disponibile a dare consigli e rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile. • PHILIPPE (9/5): Une belle étape et un hôte charmant - Un accueil personnalisé par un charmant hôte Guillermo, qui est aux petits soins et nous a aussi déposé en ville. Il nous a laissé profiter d’un late Check-out pour attendre l’heure de l’avion. C’est un peu excentre mais très pratique pour visiter la Laguna ninez. Les appartements sont vastes et confortables bien qu’un peu sombres et un peu ‘vintage’ au niveau du mobilier. Le petit déjeuner servi ‘à domicile’ est très bon. Un petit peu cher malgré tout, mais la gentillesse de Guillermo n’a pas de prix 😉

The apartment is very near the lake where you can go for a walk and an easy walk into town.

He’s the “all around guy”, cleaning, managing the front desk and attending to the needs of the guest. The apartment is very clean. They clean it every day and change your towels. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and quite specious enough. It’s at least 15 minutes walk to the town center. But you can take a taxi for 2000 ARS.

Nearby, there is a great little coffee shop and a market which is very convenient. Guillermo helped us with reservations and logistical questions about our plans. So helpful! Our cabin was a little chilly but once we let Guillermo know, he immediately adjusted it for us.
