• Adriana (8/5): I had made a double reservation online, because we are a couple and by error I tought it was needed 2 bookings and so 2 - Honest and kind I have high standards for cleaning, and it’s not totally as I require
• DENISE (8/5): a very beautiful apartment and scenery, l will come again!!! with food and drink available! - There was no food or drink available. As a guest coming to the accommodation in the evening late, there should be some light refreshments available including breakfast, tea and coffee. I understand it is self-catering facility but it would help travellers feel more at home! Also there are no shops or supermarket nearby to even buy food. Not everyone drives, and taxi service charges are very expensive! no food, no shop, no supermarket. no atm machines available to get money out. For a more satisfying stay, food should be readily available - breakfast at the very least!

• Silvia (6/5): Location near beautiful beaches, I just choose it for it - I slept very well I did not have time to check the facilities, just stayed for the night Not even a coffe offered in the room, rooms very close one to other and no privacy on the terrace ( the person next to me was smoking all the time and I could not stay on the terrace)

Kitchen equipment and tourist information needed - The location is good but close to a road with noisy traffic at times and neighbours had dogs that barked all through the night. The grounds are fantastic but more seating out areas would be nice. The pool is very clean. The staff are great. The kitchen def needs more equipment. I had to ask for a bottle opener, a corkscrew wasn't present, nor was a chopping board or large knife to cut fruit. There was no tourist information at all in the rooms. No maps, no files with places to visit, restaurant guides etc. No local suggestions at all.

The mangrove is amazing and connects to the most beautiful beach. A true gem in Antigua. Nothing. It was perfect for us.

• Ashleigh (5/5): - On the positive side, the resort grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful setting that really makes you feel like you’re away from it all. The staff were the best part of our stay — they were always warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made a real difference. Housekeeping was consistent, with our room being cleaned every three days, and everything felt tidy and well-kept on that front. However, there were quite a few downsides that made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. We couldn’t figure out how to use the oven, and unfortunately, no instructions were provided. There also weren’t many on-site activities, which left the place feeling a little quiet and limited, especially for a longer stay like ours. The poolside bar, which we were really looking forward to, was closed the entire time. The lagoon was under construction, so we missed out on seeing or enjoying that area as well. In terms of facilities, a few things felt overlooked. The bathroom curtain was held up with cable ties instead of a proper fitting, which didn’t feel up to standard. The jacuzzi never worked during our stay, which was disappointing given it’s something you’d expect to be a highlight. Small details like these added up and made the experience feel less polished than it could have been.

• Member (4/5): Nice location for a retreat but outdated facilities. - The location was perfect The facilities are out dated. The fridge, cooker and microwave were old. The internet service was horrible. I could hardly send an email or whatsapp message. When it rains both the television and internet disconnect. There was no iron, ironing board or kettle in the room. I had to request for one. There was also no grocery store close by. The closest store was about 15 minutes drive away.
• Tameika (5/5): Cozy but... - Clean and comfy. Pots, pans, utensils, stove, fridge, microwave, toaster. I just needed an uninterrupted getaway. The room advertised is not what I got. Poor drainage in the bathroom made my showers gross as I stood in backed up water from previous use trying to get cleaned in room 3A. Too close to the road, I heard every single vehicle that passed by. The fridge rumbled all day and night because it was unstable. No TV in the bedroom.
• Victoria (8/5): Great choice South Coast Horizons! - I highly recommend South Coast Horizons to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in Antigua. The sea views are amazing and the staff very kind and helpful. The facilities are excellent, kitchen area good with all the equipment you need for a holiday, beds and bedroom areas very comfortable and spacious, the pool really is the cherry on the top, very good value for money.
• Claire (10/5): Relaxed setting for a break. - Beautiful location. Staff were all exceptional. TV had many options. Bathroom and shower were enormous. A lot of space in the apartment. Small amounts of crockery etc for 2 people in the kitchen. Aircon only in bedroom.
• Alison (7/5): Quiet and out of the way - Off main road but some traffic noise as near one of the few roads with no potholes!! Quiet and restful spot with lovely walk down through mangroves to the sea Kitchen sink was too small to use and few cooking utensils - had to borrow knife from long term staying couple. Could do with more response from staff over tours and activities in the area
• Shanika (10/5): Exceptional - The room was great as it had everything we needed including a stove/hub The location was abit difficult, better to drive if you intend to stay there. However, commuting wasn't an issue the local bus stops right outside.
• Laviniarognone (10/5): Exceptional - EVERYTHING was perfect!!! We had the best time here at south coast horizon. Our room was very nice with a big terrace where we had all our breakfasts. If you are an animal lover, you might enjoy the company of a very precious cat named Nala, an orange cat very cute and friendly. Overall, we had a great experience, and we hope to come back to Antigua and the South Coast horizon soon. There are stunning beaches nearby too, our favourite is 3 min car close named Morris bay where you can also snorkel and get a delicious grilled chicken for lunch. South Coast Horizon also has a nice pool we chilled at one afternoon, and we saw a beautiful sunset. The room had AC, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning was perfect and we loved each second of our holiday and stay. Thank you. Finally they organise very nice tours! We really liked Nala, the orange cat. If you can, take care of Nala with some food and treats ❤️❤️❤️

Feels safe, children could run around freely Nice pool area Mostly very clean, could be better if the little things were updated/replaced ie plastic dish rack , old sponge for washing dishes Helpful staff 15 mins drive from Jolly Harbour I’d suggest hiring a car if staying here Bar isn’t constantly open as you’d think it would be but Owner will organise days for there to be staff working the bar of you ask. Needed more plates, cups etc but Sandy the housekeeper who is absolutely amazing will go above and beyond to get you what you need. Netting on doors to keep mosquitos out only available on a few villas. Laundry facilities not available as suggested when we booked

• Margarita (8/5): Nice villa in a quiet area - It is a quiet and relaxing area, if you are renting a car. Keep in mind that restaurants and supermarkets are not close, so plan in advance. Moris bay beach is just a minute drive, and it is beautiful. The preperty is located between a mountain and a mangrove, and they have a boardwalk through the mangrove to the nearby bay. It is really beautiful, but do not forget your bugspray amd take the key from reception, as there is a gate. Nothing, really. Just the bugs that bite, but there is not much to do about them, so just get a bug spray, and you'll get used to them after a few days.

• Marjorie (8/5): 28 Days learning to live Antiguan style... somewhat - We loved the option to prepare our own meals. The number of residents were few, and we enjoyed the relative peace and quiet (NO "Party Hearty" twenty-somethings getting drunk and carousing!) We could relax and chat with the other guests by the pool. It felt private and personal. The staff was ever so helpful; they put us in touch with Shannon -- our taxi go-to for our entire stay. She told us all about the island and what to see while we were there. Everyone was very welcoming. Be advised, South Coast Horizons i(SoCoHo) is an Eco-reserve ... the beach is au-naturel... the mangrove swamp is still a swamp. But there is a lot of green open space, the ocean views from the villa decks are spectacular, and its's only a short walk to Morris beach. There was nothing that I didn't like.
• Doug (8/5): A beautiful small resort in a rural location with friendly efficient service. - Quiet, rural location. No more than a handful of guests at any time. Grocery stores just a few minutes away by bus. Appliances worked well. Tap water was potable and tasty. King size bed was comfortable. Beautiful beaches (Morris and Turner) nearby and reachable with a short walk or bus ride. Wifi was excellent at times but signal strength would disappear for no apparent reason. Sofa and loveseat need updating as they are worn. TV was old and channel selection was limited. Mosquitos were a nuisance at dusk and in the mangrove area.

The swimming pool was excellent and a great place to meet fellow guests. Outdoor sitting space was excellent with fabulous view towards Monserrat. House keeping 3 times a week. Air con in the bedroom. Bathroom fittings could do with updating. We are aware water is a precious commodity on the island. Basic kitchen equipment.

What was not too like. These are spacious apartments and if you want the amenities you would be accustomed to whilst at home it is great. the pool area was fantastic and at times it was so nice and secluded. highly recommend this place.

Would have been nice to have access to some food. Either an on site restaurant or an on site shop. Without it we had to go out every day for food.

• Chan (7/5): First time in Antigua - The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Every query was handled professionally and promptly. When running the taps in the bathroom, the lights would flicker, and this could be quite distracting. The sink took some time time to drain the water, which meant you couldn't wash up much at a time. The security guard doesn't have access to the office so if you needed facilities he wasn't able to access them but would do his best to support regardless.
