Guest Reviews
- Teresa (10/5): Cozy cabin - The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the garden. It's gorgeous! Mariano and his nephew David take meticulous care of it. The flowers attract so many beautiful butterflies, and the palms and plants welcome all kinds of birds that serenaded us in the morning and evening. What a beautiful and serene setting. The cabin was rustic but equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the splits AC in the bedrooms and living room. We slept very well.
Luis was an excellent driver who's been with Terra Lodge for 12 years, so he's very trustworthy and always professional and friendly. We had a fantastic experience at Iguazu Falls and it was great to return to rest at this wonderful cabin. We highly recommend. Also, the pizza at Imperio is great and they deliver. We loved everything.
- Carl (9/5): Cozy, wood cabins in lovely, safe location. - Lovely landscaping with trees and flowers; very pretty cabins with cozy porch; good size cabins with high ceilings and plenty windows. Staff, especially the young man we “talked” to regularly (Spanish / English) were excellent and all (cleaning, ground maintenance staff) were hard-working and friendly. Great location about halfway between downtown and Iguazu Falls. Need car/Uber/taxi. They are cabins however and not luxurious; more like a summer cottage. Some maintenance needed. Fridge needed levelling so it didn’t rock, kitchen taps dripping; a little scary to light the gas stove with lighter.
- Marisa (10/5): - we loved our 3 night stay at Terra Lodge. The cabañas are really cute and comfortable, the pool is perfect for relaxing and you can comfortably walk to restaurants or the Selva.
Also: they make great cocktails, pizzas and empanadas!
- Malvina (10/5): Amazing - Everything was perfect
- Rosa (10/5): -
- Franziska (9/5): - Kleine familiäre Pousada etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum Puerto Iguazu.
- Christina (8/5): Sehr süße und liebevolle Unterkunft - Wunderschöner Garten, alles sehr sauber gehalten! Sehr viel Liebe zum Detail! Sehr nettes Personal! Die WIfi connection und die Lage
- Susan (10/5): Excellent staff, beautiful gardens - A little out of town, but worth it for the beautiful tropical gardens. We walked to the nearby shops, but there wasn't much there other than a few supermarkets and grocery stores - much more in Puerto Iguazu, a taxi ride away. Fairly basic, but comfortable enough. Great to be able to drink the tap water. Lovely and warm when we walked in on a cold day. The owners are so friendly and helpful. You can trust their recommendation for a taxi driver, and we ordered pizza to the room. Worth knowing the complication with drivers if you fly in to the Brazilian side and cross the border - you cannot arrange a return taxi as you have to have a Brazilian driver from airport, but an Argentinian one back! Maybe a few more hooks.
- Michael (9/5): nice stay for 3 nights - Iguazu is difficult ro find good accomodation. Terra lodge perfect a bit out of where it al happens. Quit and nice pool nothing
- Panagiotis (9/5): Superb -
- Yongchun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hans (9/5): Superb -
- Taylor (10/5): Beautiful place to unwind - We loved our time here. The lodge is beautiful, the cabins are huge and well equipped, and the pool is perfect. Wifi was quite slow
- Nancy (10/5): Eduardo was available day and night and helped us with advice and taxi accommodations. - The gardens, Eduardo was wonderful, iguanas, mangoes, swimming pool Loved everything.
- Janos (10/5): Thanks Eduardo - Natural , and Eduardo a perfect host Not Fund any problem at this stay
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Very beautiful garden and amazingly nice host. The cabañas are very spacious with high ceilings. There's birds and lizards to observe in the garden. They tried to charge us more than the amount shown on booking. We contacted booking to resolve the matter. This was due to them originally trying to charge VAT which foreigners don't pay on accommodation. They first claimed they didn't know about this then they claimed it was only for Buenos Aires. booking then resolved the matter and told them not to charge vat and we payed the original amount. However, we're surely not the first foreign guests so they should've known about it?
The pan in the kitchen was in very bad shape and the handle broke off during usage.
- Daniel (10/5): Cozy and peaceful - They were super kind and helpful. The place is very cozy. The owner crafted the wood furniture himself out of fallen trees of the forest.
- Barry (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (7/5): Good -
- Lawrence (10/5): Lovely friendly place to stay near Iguazú falls. Eduarfo the owner could not have been more helpful - Amazing lush tropical gardens , peaceful. Very friendly owner A second soft chair in sitting room would be nice to relax in evenings. Mosquito netting over bathroom window.
- Davin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (8/5): Very good - The cabanas were beautiful. Lots of wood. Beautiful gardens and pool. It wasn’t centrally located though so you needed to get taxis into town for food. They were thought very reasonable so was fine. Good for visiting both sides of the waterfalls.
- Elizabeth (9/5): We had a lovely time at Terra Lodge. Highly recommend and would stay again, if we are ever so lucky! - Adriana & Eduardo made us feel like family. We were warmly welcomed by them when we arrived. They checked on us regularly (but not too much) to make sure we had everything we needed. They also had a driver with whom they work, and they made this person and his team available to us for all of our travel needs while we were there. This included rides to both sides of the park (Argentina and Brazil) and for dinner in town, etc. Everyone was so kind and, really, made us feel like family.
The lodge is in a lovely, very quiet part of town. Very residential; not really walkable to other places. The grounds are lovely. The pool was refreshing for the kids (too cold for the adults in winter). The breakfast was really nice. Apartment was equipped fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to cook a big meal there (pretty basic). The room itself was lovely and a bit rustic. We particularly loved getting up and watching the birds in the trees in the mornings. The lodge is a bit farther from the main, developed part of Puerto Iguazu than I had understood it to be. And things that don't look that fare really aren't terribly walkable. So we did feel like we really needed taxis to get around while we were there, particularly for dinner.
- Magda (9/5): restfull - great bungalows surrounded by a beautiful garden
- Williams (10/5): Definitely one of the best hosts I’ve encountered in short term rentals. I give this my full endorsement to anyone looki - This was an incredible place with an amazing host. Edwardo met us as we arrived, gave us a tour of the casita and grounds, and ensured he was nearby if we ever needed anything. True to his word, he was always available for a perfect dinner recommendation or just advice on how to get around Iguazú Falls.
