• Jeremy (10/5): A fantastic Villa to explore Dubrovnik Old Town - Villa Vega is an exceptional location. We travel a lot, and it exceeded our expectations. We are active retired parents, with 2 adult children and their partners. The villa worked so well - everyone had their own private bedroom, en suite bathroom, and their own space. The villa has an incredible view over Dubrovnik’s Old Harbour. You can spend hours just watching the boat movements, from either sunloungers or from a seating area under a lovely shaded pergola. We always ended the day with drinks under it. There is also a table and chairs under another pergola, sited conveniently by the BBQ. The villa is situated on the hillside, overlooking the Old Harbour. There is a public stairway to the imposing doorway to the property, up from the road where a taxi drops you and your luggage. The incredible view is worth every one of the steps ! The swimming pool was lovely, and well designed, perfect for cooling down, after sunbathing, The owner helped with arrangements - sorting out a 6 person taxi from and to Dubrovnik Airport, and also arranging for a porter to help with carrying our suitcases. The villa is beautifully clean, and we arranged with the owner for cleaners to come in half way through our 10 day stay. We cannot recommend Villa Vega enough. Walking down another set of steps down from the road, you can enter Dubrovnik through Ploce Gate, the historic fortified eastern entrance to the Old Town. There are numerous restaurants in Dubrovnik, and also a number in the area between the Villa and Ploce Gate, which we used a number of times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are able to, book Villa Vega ! Nothing - everything was excellent
• Sarah (10/5): Fabulous week with family. - Beautiful Villa very close to the beautiful Old Town, with gorgeous views. We loved having a pool & sun loungers. Comfy beds & very clean and modern throughout. Sanja was so friendly and helpful on arrival & during our stay. Nothing, all great.

• Joanne (10/5): Worthwhile indulgence in stunning Dubrovnik - Sanja met us and couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we had any questions during our stay she was readily available on Wattsapp. Our bags were brought up the many steps by her good helpers. The view is everything and the bathrooms and bedding perfect The stairs are challlenging for some but totally worth the effort

From the moment we booked, Sanja was warm, responsive and incredibly helpful – and that continued throughout our entire stay. The villa itself is breathtaking – the view is nothing short of stunning. Every morning and evening, we were treated to panoramic scenes that photos simply can’t do justice. Yes, there are a number of steps to reach the villa, but they’re absolutely worth it – and Sanja helped us arrange smooth airport transfers, including help with our bags both on arrival and departure, which made things effortless. What really stood out, though, was the care Sanja showed – especially towards our daughter. She went the extra mile to make her feel special, and it meant the world to us. All of Sanja’s recommendations were spot on – from local restaurants to activities and hidden gems, everything she suggested helped shape an amazing holiday. She clearly knows and loves the area, and her advice added so much to our experience. We left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a huge amount of gratitude. If you're lucky enough to find this villa available – book it!

We loved the fact that we could walk into the old town. All the sights were within easy walking distance although be prepared for steps! Nothing
• Lisa (10/5): Wish we could stay forever! - Our stay at Villa Vega was exceptional. The villa was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, providing stunning views and perfect communal areas for our group of three couples. Fabulous location. Our host was brilliant, offering seamless communication and going above and beyond to assist us, including organizing a special birthday cake and allowing us to store luggage after checkout. We highly recommend Villa Vega and look forward to returning. We couldn’t fault a single thing! Those who cannot manage many stairs may struggle but the views are well worth the 122 steps! We all left with toned legs too which was a bonus!! The host arranged help with the luggage up and down the stairs which was a nice touch.
• Paul (10/5): Breathtaking views in a wonderful property, well located for all that the Old City of Dubrovnik has to offer! - Fantastic location with simply stunning views of Dubrovnik Old City. If you are up for the 200+ steps to and from one of the main gates (via a fantastic coffee shop near the entrance), then this is the place for you. Sanja was also a fabulous host, extremely accommodating and helpful. Morning not to like, it was perfect for us as a family

Well situated, just outside the walls of the town, the villa was very comfortable for us, 2 families of 4, modern, clean and with all the amenities that we could have ! We even used the BBQ! Bonus track for all of us, after our long strolls and the 135 stairs, was the use of the piscine !! Thanks for everything Sanja !

Everything exceeded my expectations and it was the perfect stay for a group. The host Sanja was so helpful and met us open arrival to show us around the villa. There were a lot of stairs to climb, about 136 to be precise, but with those views they were worth it. There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.
• Mags (9/5): Out host was lovely & Helpful , Croatia was nice this time of year - A) Amazing views B) layout of villa was excellent & suited us very well C) our host was friendly , kind and extremely helpful D) Villa was spotless a) 123 steps up to Villa , not a massive problem as location is good and of course the views when you get there are worth it , might have been helpful to have known in advance to prepare b) pool wasn't heated ( not a problem as such but at this time of year it would have enabled us to have used it ) c) maybe when it's busier you might get more local noise
• Terhi (10/5): Beautiful town and villa for a relaxing holiday. - The villa was very luxurious with good size bedrooms and bathrooms and a spacious terrace with pool where you can relax and enjoy the view. You could find everything you need in the kitchen for making breakfast and meals. Everything was clean and modern. The view from the villa was amazing overlooking the Old Town and the sea! Our host Sanja was very helpful and provided us with information about events and local shops, bakery etc. There are a lot of steps to climb to the villa (this is Dubrovnik!), so with a suitcase it was a bit of a challenge to get there. But I would still book this villa again!

• Michael (10/5): Villa Vega simply outstanding providing stunning views over Dubrovnik. - This beautiful Villa without doubt is the best we as a family have ever stayed in over the last 20 years, there is nothing more special than watching the sun rise over the Bay, Marina and Old Town of Dubrovnik the sunset is just as beautiful. The Villa provides everything you could possibly need for your stay there are not many villas in this area of Dubrovnik with pools but Villa Vega has one which we used every day to cool off after a lounge in the sun or a walk down the old town. We would like to thank the owners Sanje and Serge they were such wonderful hosts right from the beginning by meeting us showing us round and even leaving a tray of cold meats and wine they also text over the stay to make sure all was ok. We loved everything about the Villa it was perfect the only downside was the steps it took to get there and there are many however it is a small price to pay for such a priceless view that you may never get again.
