• Abdullah (8/5): Memorable - I loved how so much space we had in the property, it was extremely beautiful from every angle. Moreover what truly makes this property stand out is the owner and his staff who manage it personally. Doctor Mohammed did everything with in his power to make our stay memorable. This villa has only one issue which is its entrance. When you want to enter the villa you must first go thru 3 gates and pass thru stables which for foreigners with women must be very scary but once you enter and meet doctor Mohammed all the worries fade away and you realize you are the safest spot in Cairo which is Mohammed’s property
• Mohammed (1/5): كنت حاجز ثلاث ايام ولم استطيع ان اكمل حجزي غير يومين وتركت المنزل بسبب امور كثيره - الحديقه و بركة السباحه موقعه غير مناسب و الموقع في booking غير صحيح وصعوبة لدخول للمنزل بسبب وجود ثلاث ابواب الباب الاول يدخلك الى اسطبل الخيول وبعدها باب ثاني وهاذه الابواب تقفل بعد الساعه 10 و اثاث المنزل قديم واتمنى في المستقبل ان يتم تغير اثاث المنزل لانه قديم و متهالك وتجديد فرش الأسرة.

• Aarun (10/5): Perfect - It was super big , very clean and the hosts was incredibly helpful and friendly. They made sure we had literally EVERYTHING we needed. I could have not expected more ! Unbelievable experience and will definitely be coming back. Everything was perfect.
• Safiye (1/5): Schrecklich - Nix Titel: Eine absolute Zumutung – niemals wieder! Ich reise viel und habe schon viele Unterkünfte erlebt, aber so etwas ist mir noch nie passiert. Diese Unterkunft ist in jeglicher Hinsicht eine Katastrophe. 1. Sauberkeit: Absolut nicht vorhanden. Schon beim Betreten fällt der ungepflegte Eindruck auf – sowohl innen als auch außen. Der Pool war voller Laub, die Küche unsauber, Geschirr nicht eingeräumt, sondern schmutzig in der Küche verteilt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher rochen unangenehm und wirkten alles andere als frisch. Insgesamt macht die Wohnung einen verwahrlosten, unhygienischen Eindruck. 2. Lage und Erreichbarkeit: Extrem abgelegen, nur über ein privates Taxi des Gastgebers erreichbar. Mit Uber so gut wie unmöglich. Auf dem Weg dorthin habe ich sogar einen toten Gaul am Straßenrand gesehen – das sagt alles über die Umgebung. Als Frau habe ich mich dort absolut unsicher gefühlt, die Lage ist gefährlich, weit abseits von der Hauptstraße und anderen Wohnungen. 3. Gastgeber: Unfreundlich, unkooperativ und respektlos. Auf Hinweise zu den Missständen reagiert er mit Gaslighting, statt Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Man hat das Gefühl, bewusst in Abhängigkeit gehalten zu werden, da er Transporte organisiert und daran zusätzlich verdient. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass er keinerlei Verständnis zeigte und bei Kritik nur abblockte. 4. Kostenfalle: Eine Stornierung schlägt mit 500 € zu Buche – offenbar in dem Wissen, dass die Unterkunft eine Zumutung ist und Gäste am liebsten sofort wieder abreisen würden. 5. Täuschung: Die Bilder auf Booking haben mit der Realität nichts zu tun. Sie wirken klar KI-bearbeitet und stellen die Unterkunft viel schöner dar, als sie tatsächlich ist. Vor Ort trifft man auf das komplette Gegenteil: Schmutz, Gestank und Verwahrlosung. 6. Zusätzlich: Als wäre all das nicht schlimm genug, wirkt die Unterkunft auch noch unheimlich und gespenstisch.
• Josh (7/5): Stay - House itself is nice with overall facilities adequate. Gentlemen (on the quadbike) was excellent. Pool is excellent and staff keep on top of it daily to ensure it is consistently usable. Albeit on me for not researching properly, the location was not ideal given the difficulty to get taxis in and out of the property unless you book through the owner. As someone who likes to walk and run a lot whilst on holiday, this was not an ideal location for my preferences. Additionally, whilst I was not expecting luxury accommodation and something I'm not too precious about, the cleanliness of the kitchen (in particular the oven) is something that needs to be addressed.

• Jean-Christophe (10/5): Excellent séjour. - L'hospitalité de l'hôte, Mohamed, et sa disponibilité afin de rendre votre séjour agréable. L'efficacité, la discrétion et la gentillesse de son assistant, Adawi, et de la "lady", Amal. Le caractère authentique de la maison, spacieuse et parfaitement adaptée pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis. La piscine, rafraichissante après une journée de promenade, et régulièrement nettoyée par Adawi. Les écuries proches de la maison, pour le bonheur des enfants. La possibilité de faire une promenade à cheval, loin des flots des flots de touristes, au coucher du soleil, avec vue sur les pyramides. La proximité de ces dernières pour s'y rendre et les visiter sans passer trop de temps dans les transports. La maison est difficilement accessible ; seuls les taxis commandés par Mohamed viennent jusqu'à la maison. Prendre d'autres taxis ou moyens de transport nécessite de se déplacer à pieds quelques dizaines de minutes. Mohamed veille néanmoins à ce que cet "isolement" ne soit pas une contrainte et met à disposition plusieurs options (livraison de nourriture, service de taxi,...).
• Darren (6/5): Nice but could be well nicer if taken care off - Property is nice and big and has all the things you would need It really needs to be refurbished as looking very old , especially the pool area outside , with just a few days work the price could be a true gem near the pyramids. Also entrance to the villa lets it down
• Irina (9/5): Good place to stay with a big family - The host was really great. He pays a lot of attention to all our needs and was very responsive to any additional requests. We there 13 people in this house and it works perfectly. The villa is not new but has all what you might need. If you need additional support the concierge was always available. You can order the breakfast and a nice lady will come to cook for you. Actually it was according to expectations. The only thing I will probably recommend to consider is the fact that it is quite difficult to find the villa. Uber often did not accept your order but the host can arginine you a transfer at any time if you would want to go out. Also there are no shops near the villa but if you want to buy something you can always ask the concierge to help you. Yes it costs but not much.

He was very accommodating to all our requests, and my family and friends genuinely had an unforgettable, and an amazing experience. We take away truly magical memories to cherish from Egypt.
• Oliver (10/5): Beautiful villa exceptional host - Amazing host! Mohamed provides his guests with a hassle free experience, always a WhatsApp away to help with anything. He booked us a great restaurant overlooking the pyramids and organized us a quad trip from the villa. The villa is older and has many quirks but beautiful character. The pool gets leaves and sand in it but this is to be expected when surrounded by desert and beautiful trees. The caretaker works tirelessly to keep everything clean and tidy. Thank you Mohammed for an exceptional stay. We could only fit in a one night stay. I would have loved to stay longer

• Mohamed (10/5): Amazing stay at the Villa by the Pyramids - The property was very spacious and ideal for families with children. Cairo is a very busy city and having a large villa with pool where the kids and adults can chill and unwind was a blessing. When I say the host was brilliant I really mean it. He was available whenever you needed him. His staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help us. The host Mohamed arranged us cars, food, cleaning, shopping and was always there for any questions we had. Only negative was the location was a little difficult for other taxis to find but Mohamed was always available to give the drivers instructions so was never a huge issue.

• Victor (10/5): We had a great stay at the villa, absolutely recommend - We traveled to Giza with a group of friends in order to see the pyramids and attend a festival. The villa was spacious enough for seven of us, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms located upstairs, and living, dining and lounge areas downstairs. The house was very clean, and even though it is not particularly new, it has lots of character and style in it, and it actually looks better than what you see on the pictures. The ACs are all new and worked perfectly fine. Villa is located on a big private plot of land and surrounded by the stables, one actually passes directly through them when driving towards the villa, however it has its own fenced territory and there are no noises or smell, or anything. The best part were the services that one gets when staying there. The owner lives nearby and is always in touch and is ready to arrange whatever is needed from food delivery to the pyramid tours. There is also his assistant who is basically always onsite if anything is needed. We had a lovely lady cooking breakfast for us every morning. The pinnacle was the horse riding in the desert with the horses from the stables. I definitely recommend doing it, especially if you know how to ride.

• Emad (8/5): Very nice, comfortable and relaxing stay. - The property is beautiful, spacious. Good size bedrooms. Large two bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped.There is good size swimming pool and garden. Property is surrounded by horse stables. The area is quiet and comfortable. The owner of the property is very helpful. He organized us transport, trips, visit at the ostrich farm next door or horse riding for kids. The property is very excluded, very difficult to find by taxi drivers or visitors. Swimming pool is not child friendly, very deep. The property and furniture is quite old. There are baths in the bathrooms, but only able to take showers as plugs missing.

• Brian (10/5): An oasis of calm in a crazy city - If you are travelling to Cairo with a group this is really a great option for you. It's a real oasis of peace in this crazy city. Located in Giza and not far from the pyramids the house is large and comfortable with four spacious bedrooms and a huge lounge and dining area and is well equipped. Best of all is the lovely garden and pool and although it was a bit chilly when we visited in January you can imagine how lovely it would be to spend the warm evenings here. But although the house is lovely the real star of the show for us was the people. The owner Mohamed was there to meet us when we arrived, speaks English better than I do (!) and was a great help offering everything from food delivery to buying train tickets. He responds immediately to Whats app and helped us arrange everything including a really lovely taxi driver called Sukar who took us everywhere with consumate skill which is quite an art in the mad traffic of Cairo and an amazing guide in Said who is an Eqyptologist and a fountain of knowledge about everything Eqyptian and who takes a commendable pride in his country both ancient and current. His enthusiasm made our trips to the pyramids and the museum much more enjoyable and if he is available when you are there you will enjoy his company. All in all a great location for a stay in Cairo and people who will maximise your enjoyment of this amazing city The location is fairly inaccessible so you can't just walk out and explore, you really need to arrange transport. On the positive side though it is cheap to hire a taxi
• Brett (10/5): Great vacation - This is an excellent place to stay. The house is big, the grounds are lovely, and it sits in horse property, so you are away from the hectic pace of Giza while not far from the pyramids. Also, you can also ride horses for an extra fee - we went into the desert and had great pictures with the pyramids in the background. Also, the staff is excelent, we ate most of our meals at the house for an extra fee and the food was delicious. The owner is very accommodating and arranged transportation and a dinner cruise. This is a great value for how big the house is and how excellent the service is.
• Nrsyfwn (10/5): Amazing! Worth it! - It was definitely way better than in photos. We were all in awe of the spaciousness, the interiors and the view. You could see The Pyramids from the master bedroom😍 The host (Mohamed) and the staffs (Adawi & Amal) were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really loved the hospitality. We enjoyed it so much and regretted that we only booked for one night. We're definitely going to return one day. There's so many activities that you can do; like horse-riding and ATV! We were amazed too that there's an Ostrich stable right beside our villa😍 Imagine waking up to the view of The Pyramids and ostriches. You'll never experience it anywhere else! ▪︎ The wifi & internet connection was quite slow there. ▪︎The water heater in the master bedroom's toilet was not hot despite switching it on the night before. ▪︎The swimming pool had some tiny dry leaves and flies, even though Adawi cleaned it before we went in. ▪︎ The location is a bit complicated for Uber drivers to get in, and quite expensive too actually. It's best to drive your own car.

• Jim (10/5): Wonderful hospitality that will forever define our experience of Egypt. Thoroughly recommended! - Wow! What can I say. We arranged our trip to Egypt at the last minute and *almost* booked a room in a big, boring hotel... We're so, so happy that we chose to stay at Mohamed's villa instead. We're a family of five - parents + 3x young kids - and this was our first time in Cairo. We've done a bit of travelling in the region but we were overwhelmed by the Egyptian hospitality. Mohamed sent a driver Wael to pick us up from the airport and he and his team were there at the villa to greet us warmly and settle us in when we arrived. Throughout our week the team was on hand to help us with anything we needed. We took three day trips organised by Mohamed, with a local guide Mamdouh. We visited the pyramids at Sakarra and Giza one day (though the Great Pyramid is right outside the master bedroom window!), Alexandria another day and Cairo proper, with its museums, citadels and mosques later in the week. We'd recommend all of these outings and, if you stay here, see if you can book some tours with Mamdouh. He's so interesting, knowledgeable and warm. There's nothing we couldn't ask about and we learned so much about the sites, the history and the culture of Egypt from thousands of years BCE right through to the present day. In between our trips we hung out by the pool at the villa and took some trips to local restaurants and the big mall up the road. The villa is super-comfortable: there's an immaculate private pool outside and loads of room to lounge about and relax indoors. It's clean, comfortable and - for a family of five - excessively spacious! I can't express enough how much we felt like Mohamed and Momdouh's guests the whole time we were in Egypt. If you're going to Egypt to explore the history and culture: don't go and stay in a sterile hotel and be treated like a tourist. Take in some genuine hospitality and stay at this gorgeous villa, all to yourself.
• Mohamed (10/5): Amazing space - The place was really amazing with a great location close to the pyramids , the pool and garden are very wonderful and perfect view. The rooms and reception are spacious even it fits for our birthday group and visitors were very happy and comfy. Moreover the household team from the owner and the assistants are very nice and helpful.
• Adam (10/5): The experience of a lifetime shared with a wonderful host, family and tour guide in a genuine oasis. - We were welcomed by our host Mohamed right from our landing into Cairo. Our driver met with Mohamed's assistant who provided guidance to the location of the residence where we were introduced to Adawe and his family looking after the accommodation we were staying - therefore absolutely no issue with finding the place and gaining access. We travelled to Cairo as a family of 7 with only a few days available. Our expectations were very much exceeded with the assistance provided by Mohamed and his assistants from everything to cooking, cleaning and guidance for our stay. The accommodation for the area is a standout with all the requirements for living comfortably for whatever duration is required. The pool surrounded by the local trees provides a private and very natural oasis feel to the entire property. With the front courtyard providing a beautiful natural canopy for cars to park or children to play - it is truly a magical place only a short distance away from the pyramids. I hadnt realised at the time of booking that there was a nearby equestrian school with stables only a short walk. We were lucky enough to be up close to these magnificent animals with the kids being able to ride on one of these beautiful animals. We had asked our host - Mohamed to assist with local tours of key locations to which he obliged. Our introductions to Mamdouh as our tour guide could not have been better. Our family quickly embraced Mamdouh who did the same in return showing us these wonders of the ancient world all the while teaching our children the culture and history of this amazing place. Mohamed's willingness to assist with providing our family the most enjoyable experience was obvious from the outset and followed up by Mamdouh and Adawe's family made this an experience we will truly treasure . We look forward to planning our next stay and being able to spend more time at this oasis in the desert with these wonderful people and amazing places. The only thing that I could say I didnt like was the lack of time that we had in both the accommodation and Cairo in general. Our timing was cut short and would have loved to stay for an extended time.

For our first time in Egypt and being a family of 6 it was difficult to arrange travel. Mr Mohamed had drivers available but it would've been easier to be able to book Ubers whenever we needed. That was the only thing bar that it was lovely.

Thank you so much :) - We are a family of 7 travelling around North Africa for an adventure and to Educate our 5 children with culture and life experiences. We chose this property as a treat for our family to escape the hustle and bustle of Cairo. We made the best choice ever! This was one of our families favourite stays. A gorgeous house (an oasis), situated in a real part of the city, away from the noise and hassle. We learnt so much! We especially enjoyed the food, the swimming pool and the staff. We were looked after and shown the whole city by Mohamed (the host) and Addawee (the manager). We were treated so well and received the best service. I highly recommend this property for large families like ours. We were sad to leave, but we feel recharged and ready to continue our adventure. Thank you Mohamed and Addawee! We loved everything about this property, but anything we did struggle with was dealt with immediately. Mohamed has only been renting out his property for 4 months and is new to the holiday rental scene. He is already outstanding as a host. We hope Mohamed has lots of guests that help him grow and improve, rather than penalising him for minor faults in the detail. In a big beautiful house in Cairo, it is easy to pick out the minor details against such a perfect backdrop. We had mentioned that a few items needed repairing and the kitchen needed to be better equipped. He really appreciates feedback to help him improve his property and all the wonders it has to offer.
