- Alon (6/5): Decent Stay, but Nothing Exceptional - Overall, the villa was fine for a short stay. It’s very spacious, spread over four floors, and even has an elevator inside, which is quite unique. From the photos, it looks fully equipped throughout, but in reality, the kitchen was only moderately stocked, and some dishes were not very clean. The villa must have been quite luxurious back in the 80s, but since then, it seems little has been updated. All the furniture and bathrooms are quite dated, and the overall cleanliness was average at best. The hosts were generally fine — they were communicative, kept their word, and arrived on time, although they were not always quick to respond. The price was reasonable for what you get. The location is in a quiet, private neighborhood, but don’t expect much privacy around the pool — neighbors have balconies overlooking it. You definitely need a car or taxi to get anywhere, as it’s not walkable to shops or the city center. There’s plenty of space and lots of balconies, and the pool was okay, but nothing special. I don’t think I would choose this villa again; it was acceptable for our stay, but I believe there are better alternatives if you take the time to look around. • All the furniture is very old and hasn’t been updated since the 1980s. • The bathrooms are old and don’t feel well maintained. • Overall cleanliness is just average, not up to high standards. • Some dishes in the kitchen were not fully clean. • The kitchen is not fully equipped — basic items were missing. • The villa looks much more equipped in the photos than it actually is. • There’s no real privacy around the pool — neighbors have balconies overlooking it. • A car or taxi is absolutely necessary for everything — shops and the city center are not within walking distance. • The internet service was unreliable and the Wi-Fi didn’t cover the entire house. • The hosts were fine but not always available or responsive. • The price was reasonable but doesn’t match the outdated condition. • Overall, the stay was acceptable but nothing special — I wouldn’t return and I think there are better options if you take time to look.

- Helene (10/5): Wonderful Villa 10 Minutes from Beach, 25 from Athens - The house was absolutely perfect for our group. I loved that it had an elevator, which helped with our luggage. The rooms had lovely balconies and the pool was a huge hit with the kids! It was close enough for a day trip to the beach or into downtown Athens. Plenty of restaurant and market options nearby. The owners were wonderful and able to accommodate us on very short notice.
