• Monserrat (10/5): Came as strangers left as family. - The family are extremely welcoming and a pleasure to spend my holiday with.
• Karin (10/5): Authentiek verblijf in Albanees bergdorp - Hier moet je echt heen! Klajdi reed ons in zijn 4x4 in 1,5 uur de berg op vanaf Vlorë. Dat bood hij als gratis service aan omdat onze huurauto hiervoor niet geschikt was. Hun familiehuis ligt echt heel mooi. Er wonen maar 200 mensen in het dorp. Je hoort alleen maar wat dorpgeluiden en een koe, haan of een geit 😀. We kwamen er helemaal tot rust. Er werd ook heerlijk voor ons gekookt (ook vega). Niets!
• Peter (10/5): Onvergetelijk avontuur in traditioneel bergdorpje - Prachtige (afgelegen) locatie in de bergen. Goed vers en gevarieerd eten Aardige en enthousiaste familie, wil graag dingen laten zien en proeven. Wandeling naar de rivier was top! Makkelijk contact via app over vervoer. We werden gehaald en gebracht (onze auto was geen offroad).
• marjolein (10/5): Unieke ervaring in landelijke Albanese bergen - Het was erg fijn dat vervoer naar het huisje werd geregeld. Een hele belevenis op zich om over de bergen met een four wheel drive te rijden met mooie uitzichten. Het huisje is charmant en het terras idyllisch, onder de schaduw van de druivenbladeren en met schitterend uitzicht over de vallei en de bergen. We zijn er verwend met heerlijk zelfgemaakt eten. En onze gastheren namen ons mee voor leuke wandelingen (waterval en rivier). Een unieke ervaring! De douche had wat weinig waterdruk, maar het heeft ons verder niet gestoord.
• Thomas (10/5): Een fantastische ervaring en super gastvrij - In één woord fantastisch! De route naar de Guesthouse was indrukwekkend mooi. De familie was ontzettend gastvrij en de omgeving was prachtig. We zijn naar de waterval en het dorp geweest. In het huisje was aan alles gedacht. Echt een aanrader! Alles was goed!

The food was delicious, featuring fresh produce from their garden, which added a special touch to every meal. The host was exceptionally kind and took the time to accompany us everywhere, showing us the most beautiful spots in the area. I highly recommend this guest house for anyone looking for a genuine and delightful rural retreat.
• Evakaspa (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly host. We left our car in Vlore and they drove us to the village with their off-road. The accommodation was very cozy and clean and had everything we needed. In the village there is no restaurant or shop so you eat the homemade dishes cooked by the owner's mum which are fantastic! We agreed the price for the food in advance. Our children played with the cats, the owners showed them their chicken and dogs and even let them water the garden. This stay was the best one in Albania.

• Omer (10/5): Beautiful house and view, the warmest hospitality. - This is a total village experience. Our hosts were so attentive and knew exactly what we want that it was easy to let go and have a true whole experience in the hands of this lovely family. We’ve had all our meals and activities by them and it was really good. The road is an adventure by itself, off road in the mountains, the location is rural and beautiful, the food is probably the best we’ve had in Albania and the hospitality is warm. There are no options for doing things on your own in the area. If you go with it it’s really special.

We have enjoyed every single moments : the atmosphere of the house and garden, the surroundings ( great walks in the mountain and the rivier). • Andrew (10/5): Family-village-experience with local food and mountain views. Best place to stay in Albania. - Oh, guys! I'm so happy I decided to move the map a bit from Vlorë to the mountains to find some authentic place to stay. That experience was absolutely unbelievable, everyone must try this. The hosts did a favor and gave us a lift to their house in the mountains. They will bring you back to the city after your stay, don't worry :) I'd say that if you don't have a 4x4 car and proper skills, it'd be impossible to get there. However, with this family, it's not an issue. They're happy to help. The road is beautiful and the views are stunning. They don't ask for a fee for the ride, but be kind and leave them some money. We paid for the dinner, and I recommend everyone to do this. Worth every penny. We had a variety of local dishes made especially for us. Thank you! The yard is full of love and attention to detail. Fruit trees, flowers, benches, grapes you'll like it! The house is cozy, and I liked to sit on the sofa near the floor lamp at night, inhaling the smell of a bouquet of local herbs. Breakfast was included. As well as the dinner, everything was homemade. I hope you'd have a chance to try local honey in honeycombs. When I say local, I mean it was made by bees of the host family :) Forget to mention that we had local grapes and figs as well. Don't envy us! We stayed in different places in Albania, but this was the best experience by far. Thanks to the whole family for having us at their place!
