- Cecile (10/5): Fantastic and excellent. The Dishwasher was a bonus, stress free after the cooking. - This place is a home away, amazing and beautiful
Easy access to major amenities sites
We had the impression that we travelled with our own house. Narrow parking

- Nomonde (10/5): Peaceful - It spacious very nice the rooms are nice and I didn’t expect it to be like that because many people were complaining about the furniture well maybe they had replaced it but it was perfect It didn’t have Wi-Fi

- Van (5/5): Good but could be better - On Arrival, no numbers worked to get in and Norman didnt answer his phone. There were ants everywhere
- Charity (4/5): It was safe and peaceful. - Simon took good care of us,made sure everything was working well.Check-in was flawless and the house was clean. The pool was very clean and inviting, unfortunately it was raining and a bit cold the whole time we stayed there. The 1 bathroom is very big and renovated. The other bathroom needs a bit of fixing, the toilet is not stable. The place is okay, but not good value for money at this point.Besides everything we felt very safe in the chalet. The place is very old,and has that old house scent I personally do not like, the kitchen is outdated but clean,a few renovations in the kitchen and the pictures, curtains, couches(which are quite old,the covers don’t help much),and the garden furniture would make it enjoyable (it needs a total makeover- suggestion). Some days(2) the pipes were very loud and kept me awake at night. This didn’t happen every day.(?)

- Goodwill (8/5): Very good -
- Chitta (7/5): Comfortable - It was selfcatering one of the was not working
- Ahmad (1/5): Bad -
- Tiya (7/5): Good - The house itself is very homey and comfortable, especially for a larger party. I did not like that you are required to pay for your own electricity should it run out. (There is a meter)
- Alitta (6/5): Pleasant - Location and the helper was receptive. Nice woman. The heater in the main bedroom and side lamp it's not working. The room was extremely cold. No toilet in the main bedroom, nobtv either. The tv in the lounge is outdated. Not a smart tv. We couldn't watch Netflix, showmax or dstv. 😪💔
- Naidoo (1/5): I would not recommend Chalet no. 2 Petunia to anyone. The place is unkept and not maintained at all. It is a very poor q - There was absolutely nothing to like. The property was absolutely filthy and poorly supplied. There was insufficient dishes, towels and bedding. The house had a bad smell when we got in. The toilet was leaking. The railing in the bathroom fell off upon user. The same for the cold water tap in the kitchen. The cupboards were dirty and broken in the kitchen and bathroom. The bedding was musty and dirty. The light fittings were filled with insects and lighting so dim. The dishes looked unwashed. The tv was damaged. Both fridges didn’t work. And to top it all, when we tried to contact bookings.com for a refund as the place was uninhabitable, the owner resorted to threats and fighting a group of women. He was rude and completely unwilling to listen. The door latch was broken as well so security was a concern.
- Ntanta (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rangel (1/5): Bad - I didn't like the way they take care of the house, they are careless of everything in the house. I like the location

- Tsholo (10/5): I absolutely loved the response time... You guys are absolutely AMAZING - - Location
- Peace & Tranquility
- Cleanliness
- Friendliness of Host Didn't like the bathroom near the kitchen
- Khensani (5/5): Passable - Water was always hot
The bedrooms are nice and spacious The pictures are taken with a Snapchat filter and the place does not really look like the pictures so I was sold on something and it didn't really look like it when I got here
- Tsholo (9/5): Worth Every Cent - I Loved the following:
- The Space
- Location
- Hostess Friendliness
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Peace of mind - Not enough kitchen utensils (storage containers)
- Riadh (1/5): The worst place - The location The toilet is broken. Called many times the owner. Nothing done. Ants everywhere. Dirty linen. Dirty and dusty carpets.
- Nzimande (9/5): Superb -
- Nomzamo (7/5): Good - It's was overall a very nice and cosy stay, very spacious accommodative, relaxing great stay we had. We waited for over an hour to be let in the property, calling emailing and trying all options to be let in side.
- Vivia-ann (7/5): Good -
- Delta (9/5): Superb -
- Sabelo (10/5): Exceptional - Location was good and pleasant Nothing
- Karabo (4/5): Disappointing - There’s people in the property that constantly disturb the our stay. In the morning when we checked out we were rushed to check up. The lady was literally waiting for us by the door waiting for us to leave
- Prashun (8/5): Very good -
- Katrina (7/5): Good - The main big bed was nice. It was a spacious place. It fit within our budget. The host was nice and allowed us to check in early. We were able to get fresh towels regularly. Place was clean. The photos are extremely old, the place is way more run down than you are led to believe. Broken windows, torn awnings, stained couches, frayed chairs, pool floor is chipped and broken. Very obvious that things aren't maintained or repaired only cleaned.
They were doing some construction in the front yard that woke us up daily. Unsure if they were putting in new pipes or a wall to be honest.
- Bothma (9/5): Superb -
- Petercoa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Blair (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kgwatalala (9/5): Superb -
- Sibusiso (6/5): The property was great location and good value for money. The service was great and check in and out was smooth. However - The property was great location and good value for money. The service was great and check in and out was smooth. Some of the pictures are not as accurate, they are outdated. The place needs some revamping as some of the items are outdated.
- Muawiya (3/5): Unsatisfactory - Location was decent and central
Close to sandton city mall
Spacious
Cartaker was friendly Lack of extra linen or pillows
No Blankets
Only duvets on beds
Contact person very rude
Advertised as self catering but very few utensils in kitchen
Not a single water glass in the kitchen
There was a prayer session being held in the next chalet passed midnight with about 30 congregants
- Couana (7/5): Well - The home was amazing to have a good weekend and relax. The house dont have AC
- Haroon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Koketso (6/5): Pleasant -
- Owen (9/5): Superb - The location and the cleanliness No power backup
- Damien (7/5): Spacious, Clean and comfortable - The space, cleanliness, location and comfortable beds No heating, we were freezing this weekend, also more dishes should be made available, there's no tumblers
- Stephen (10/5): Amazing break away - Wow so much space and very comfortable stay, loved the cleanliness and staff were very friendly. liked everything
- Kabelo (8/5): I am generally satisfied, with parking being the exception - The rooms are spacious, the place has load shedding lights and reliable wi-fi connection Parking space is limited. Vehicles park one in front of the other, which creates a challenge if one is parked in and wants to drive off
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Jabute (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sasa_n (8/5): Very good -
- Reinard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ndebele (10/5): The overall stay was great. The water was however cold in the morning when we wanted to shower and we had to call the ho - The host had to be the one opening the gate for us and at some point we wanted to step outside and it seems he was already in bed so he was grumpy and kept asking when we would be back. It was uncomfortable considering I specifically looked for a place without curfew yet I had to answer questions as to when I’d be back….
- Hardeep (9/5): Superb - Lovely place
- Holdings (1/5): Bad -
- Karinl (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect and near Sandton City where we had to be on a daily basis.
- Mathebula (5/5): Passable - Close to the shops Security
- Debby (9/5): Super great stay. I'll book again. - Everything about the property, from the bedrooms, to the pool. Cleanness. Location is great, close to everything (Sandton city). There's nothing I didn't like shame😩
- Busisiwe (5/5): Passable - The location was great The place is a nice place but needs some serious maintenance, the shower head in the bath tab at the 2nd bathroom was not working and dripping of water, the windows at the TV room have been broken and caused it to be cold, the pool could do with abit of cleaning the couches too.
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Kunsunga (10/5): This property is such an amazing place specially when you’re coming to jhb with family - the location, staff (Mr Paul), The house size, cleanness…….etc Tv lol 😂 please get a big screen and must be a smart tv
