• Mathilde (1/5): On vous déconseille ce lieu, qui a un peu gâcher notre séjour à Mendoza. - Les volontaires sont adorables ! Malgré tout le bon vouloir des volontaires pour rendre cet hostel propre, l’endroit est sale. Faute aux équipements et mobiliers qui sont obsolètes. Les toilettes qui se bouchent, le lavabo qui fuit, la literie n’en parlons pas. Le cafard retrouvé dans notre chambre le dernier soir sera la goutte de trop et on annulera la dernière nuit (qui nous sera remboursé) Le lieu ne ressemble pas à un hostel, pas l’énergie. Dès l’arrivée d’ailleurs, la gérante nous a accueilli sur la défensive, nous avons trouvé qu’elle s’adressait très mal aux volontaires (qui ne peuvent pas mieux faire car le lieu est vétuste). Une impression d’exploitation.

• Ayelen (1/5): La peor experiencia en Hostel - -- La encargada es muy mal educada y trata mal a la gente, es degradante escucharla, y también se escucha tratar mal a los voluntarios. Si no, se propasa con ellos. La verdad, espantoso. Nunca había tenido tan mala experiencia. La habitación triple tenía solo una toma de enchufes, que estaba bloqueada por la cama cucheta. Tuvimos que correr la cama para poder conectar una zapatilla para cargar nuestros celulares. Los colchones parecían finitos y eran durísimos. Encima posee varias habitaciones y por lo que me comentaron, hubo varias quejas de este Hostel haciendo reserva por booking. Me cobraron muchísimo más de lo que tenían que cobrarme, en un momento mi tía tuvo que parar la situación de maltrato de la encargada hacia mi. Estuve en otros hosteles, pero esta fue mi peor experiencia. Mi otra estadía fue en el clover, pero estaba lleno lamentablemente, a ese no vuelvo más. Realmente nunca la pase tan mal

• Sander (1/5): Oplichters - Wij hadden een driepersoonskamer geboekt. Bij aankomst stelden de uitbaters echter dat de vermelde prijs per persoon (per bed) gold, en niet voor de volledige kamer. Ondanks het tonen van onze boekingsbevestiging, waaruit duidelijk bleek dat het om een kamerprijs ging, bleven zij bij hun standpunt. Bovendien werd aangegeven dat er een derde, voor ons onbekende persoon in onze kamer zou kunnen verblijven. Aangezien het reeds laat op de avond was, waren wij genoodzaakt last-minute op zoek te gaan naar een alternatief. De meeste accommodaties met een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding waren reeds volgeboekt, waardoor ons verblijf in Mendoza aanzienlijk duurder uitviel dan voorzien.
• Anasse (1/5): - NOTHING Absolutely horrible unprofessional business, cancelled my reservation at the absolute last minute, 8PM as I was about to board my flight to get there. They didn't even have the decency to admit they gave my room to someone else, the only excuse they could come up with is: "there is no light in the room" when nobody would've normally been able to confirm that at 8 PM since I had it reserved and they should have know at the previous guest's checkout, at maximum 11h. Garbage money hungry people, don't waste your time the same might happen to you if someone happens to walk inside and ask for a room before you check in...

• gastonkin (8/5): Agradable - Me dieron "la combi" como habitación. Al principio no me gustó porque era en la parte de afuera pero despues me agradó ya que el clima acompañaba y no hacía falta ningun tipo de refrigeración ni calefacción. Fue bastante comodo estar y dormir ahí. En cuanto al hostel en general bien. El Wifi es lento y no llega bien a esa "habitación".

• Shannon (6/5): Okay for 1 night - The hostel is close to the park and the woman who works there is very kind. It is in need of updating, the pictures are obviously old. I booked a room with private bathroom which I don't think exists and it just feels like it needs a good clean, it's a shame because you can see the potential but it needs some care

• Guest (5/5): Aceptable pero decepcionante si buscas comodidad mínima. - La gente es agradable y busca ayudarte. La zona también es buena para moverse. Honestamente el baño privado fue decepcionante porque la ducha y el inodoro estaban todo junto en un espacio muy reducido y con un paño en el piso que no daba mucha confianza como para pisarlo mientras te duchabas, además pedían no tirar papel al inodoro pero no dejaron ni bolsa en la basura entonces era un poco desagradable. Además que no te den ni toallas, ni jabón ni nada para bañarte es también desagradable. Todo lo demas aceptable pero evidentemente no muy acogedor. Si es para dormir sin más y quieres ahorrar está bien.

• Natalie (8/5): Nice stay in Mendoza - Very friendly staff (Sheila was very helpful even though we couldn't speak Spanish!), kitchen and bathrooms were clean, heating overnight, hot showers, Sheila helped us organise a wine tour and could assist with booking other tours too, location is within walking distance of the town and felt very safe. Hand soap at the bathroom sink would have been nice, as well as an electric kettle, otherwise no complaints 😊

• Phillip (10/5): Great hostel with lots of private rooms! - The staff and other guests were wonderful, i like the building, with the bricks, the vines growing over the walls and the giant tree in the courtyard. Great quiet neighborhood near to the giant Dan Martin park. Very little English spoken here (which was perfect for my Spanish practice). Its rare to have a hostel full of private rooms, I love that idea. Seems like the owner hasn't done any upgrades to the building since the 1980s (70s??). Some very simple fixes and upgrades would make everyone's stay much more comfortable...
• Arnaud (5/5): Can be better - The hostel was not our best experience in Argentina, but location is great. It’s a bit dirty and the staff is not really nice.
• Cora (8/5): Good little spot - Lovely staff, well equipped kitchen, love the location and the vibe. Great value for money. Just a wee warning, although it says on the site there are no extra charges and they accept cards there is actually a 10% surcharge on cards including debit. Take cash to avoid this.
• Morgane (1/5): Bad - The manager is a maniac that screams at customers and harass employees and volunteers until they quit. The assistant manager collected proofs of her behaviour and tried to confront her about it. He got fired on the spot. However, if ethics is not a matter to you, the hostel, although a bit run down is very cheap, well located and quite comfortable.

• Zoe (3/5): Ok, Wouldn't return in need of upgrade and maintenance - the female staff were so lovely and helpful and they let us leave our bags there after check out as our bus was much later than the check out time. they also let us hang there for 90minutes after check out. We were given the room on the top floor which was very run down- there were gaps in the window frames that allowed ants into the "kitchen" area- on the third floor. there was a board in place of a window in the bedroom and the shower head was over the toilet seat which meant we couldnt shower. There was also a cockroach that came out of a floorboards on our last night. the staff did seem to clean downstairs a lot but the room we were in was beyond being able to be cleaned. the kitchen was ok, everything you needed to cook with but again, a little old and could do with new amenities that can be cleaned. Also the toilets didn't seem to work very well on both the top floor and the ground floor.

The mattresses and the bed sheets were so old that I was really suspicious if there were any bed bugs. Luckily I didn’t have any issues. But if I were them, I would definitely renew the mattresses and the sheets.

• Kity (9/5): Superb - The hostel is at a great location, near the Aristides street which is very lively. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can do the laundry and order breakfast as well. Something funny was going on with electricity in the room so that it was impossible to use the fan and there were plenty mosquitos.
